First of all this place is confusing to find.. There are 0 signs to locate the place. We walked around the entire building complex and went on the second story and finally found it after calling twice. Went in expecting more options but we were looking for pre rolls. They had like 1 of each items in the display case and they were mostly all brands I've never seen or heard. The only brand that we knew was baby jeeters and those were only indica options and they looked a little off. Needless to say we left right then and went to Catalyst. Also there are 3 or 4 other dispensaries in the same complex on maps but none of them are there. It was unclear if he was legit, but we decided to check out the new place anyway. The card mentioned entering "around back" and said to look for a star on the door--but there was no star. We ended up entering through the back where the trash bins are, which felt shady--even though this is California and it's legal. Once inside, the ATM was down. Nice little place located in a good area. The security even came outside cause I was lost lol, it was my first time and it is a little hidden. I always spend about a grand during these events. I get told when I get there that I will not be allowed in, despite what I was told. The people here are super friendly and they carry the brand that I used to buy from a previous vendor. He has to take a break for awhile, so I had to find a new place to buy my goods. I would go 4.5 if the app let me. This will be my place when I'm in town. Rather hard to find since they don't have any storefront logos out and the windows to their shop are completely tarped over. I walked past it twice thinking the place was shut and they were renovating for the tenant. Then finally I tried the door which was making unlocking noises each time I walked past and yup, its a dispensary. That said, the Pearl Plaza is an absolutely iconic location full of fun little food and party spots. I liked the energy of the place. Check in held onto my ID the entire process. Previous places would scan it and hand it back. Not sure why they do it differently. Didn't ask. They have an ATM onsite and the place is cash only. Either COVID or internal security protocols mean one patron at a time, which meant the customer was the center of attention. Everyone was attentive, polite and helpful with getting me hooked up with the right product. I didn't catch the names but the 3 people helping me buy were all very nice and friendly. Despite the illicit chic vibe they have going, I felt safe and wasn't pressured into buying anything I didn't want. First timers get a free preroll and a lighter which made the freeway traffic jam a very pleasant experience. They also have a loyalty card program as well. A very strict no cellphones policy is in effect. I didn't mind the privacy but at the same time it felt restrictive. They have a very beautiful mural in the waiting room I wanted to snap a pic of but said policy kept me from. It also meant I couldn't do any on the spot product research either so I had to take the staff's word on things. While I'll definitely head back, the lack of an easy to find storefront and the strict security measures really keep me from going a full 5 stars on this one. read more

Nice discovery. I live in La Verne, CA so there are not a lot of dispensaries in my area. I've tried so many within a 15-mile radius, but I think I'll start making this my go-to spot. Without question, this place has to have the nicest employees I've encountered at a dispensary. Even the security guy that takes your license and buzzes you in was nice. I've been at so many others where it seems like the goal is to be as unfriendly and intimidating as possible. All of the staff inside greeted me with a smile and a "welcome" too. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful with their suggestions. My wife and I only stick to edibles, so I was pleased to see that they have a huge selection. There are a variety of brands, prices, and potency to meet all sorts of needs. I also liked that they have a nice first-time customer gift. I spent enough that I got enough stamps on my customer card they gave me that I will receive a $15 discount on my next visit. The only thing I would say is that finding the store is difficult. I did call when I was there and the gentleman that answered was very friendly and gave me solid instructions on how to find them. Basically, go to the address listed, but then enter the parking garage around the side of the small shopping center and head to the third floor. Then there is a ramp that connects the garage to the center. Take that and then it's one of the first doors on the right. It's not labeled, but you will see a security camera above the door. They buzzed me in before I even got to the door. All in all, I am very pleased with my discovery of this place and I will definitely be back. read more

FAKE STIIIZY PODS The staff is super friendly but they're selling FAKE STIIIZY pods. If u scratch your code to verify they have been using the same code for all the pods. It was scanned 9080 times. They also don't have the "CA!" On the pods like the real stiiizy's do. The only reason why I checked was because I tasted/smelled vegetable oil as soon as I took the first hit. There's a reason why they have low Prices. I will never come here again and will continue to go to the actual Stiiizy warehouse even though it's a lot further from me.
