I wanted some good matcha and saw this place with good reviews. The atmosphere is pretty friendly. We ordered from the kiosk, so I can't speak much about service. I ordered an iced matcha latte, 50% sweet, whole milk. My husband ordered iced Americano "reg sweet" (thinking it was just what the store labels as a normal order and wouldn't be sweetened since americanos come plain). It's pretty pricey. We're from North Cali and a typical matcha is $6.50-$7.50, so my matcha order was $7.50. My husband's iced Americano was $4.50, so average price. The matcha looked promising from the color, but the moment I tasted it, it legit tasted like cardboard. I have no other flavor profile or description for it. My husband said his Americano was way too sweet, and surprised him that it was actually sweetened. His Americano had the same quality as gas station coffee. Our fault for assuming the Americano would come out as something other than what it should be despite of the "reg sweet" label. Neither of us could finish even a third of our drinks, and ended up tossing them out. Bottom line: The name does not match the experience. read more

First visit here and it was pretty good. The location is so cute and there's so many lights outside during Christmas time. Staff is super friendly and the place is super cute inside too. I ordered the matcha latte and it's pretty decent. You can taste the matcha and cream, not too earthy or grassy. I also got the elevated milk tea and I totally recommend getting this. If you're into matcha in Dallas, then you've seen this place on social media. They actually partner with a lot of influencers to do giveaways... I really wanted to try the matcha flight ($17.50 for 4 choices). They know have coffee flight too and you can mix and match. They don't list the options of the matcha flight choices very well. Obviously the cashier will tell you, but wish it was written somewhere so I could look. Got white mocha, strawberry, mango, ube. Strawberry and mango were definitely on the sweet side and the fruit dominated. Ube was super subtle. I liked white mocha too. I think the flight is enough to split between two people. I do think it's pricey.. but I'm also not the type to pay $8 for a matcha, which is the going price in this city.. The space itself is pretty small. Not sure if it's the best place to do work, but they do have wifi. I didn't look out for outlets. You need to ask for the bathroom code. Never an issue with parking when I've been - there is a parking garage. Matcha flight is one and done. But I think I would go back to try the coffee flight.. just $18 is a bit steep. read more

Girls..it's a 3.5 star review. I ordered a normal matcha with whole milk and 75% sweet but I asked for simple syrup in exchange of vanilla syrup. The matcha taste was good, very smooth and not stringent/artificial tasting. I wish I got 50% sweet lol you know I just can't with a too-sweet drink. My friend got the blueberry matcha with no sugar or milk edits but she didn't think the blueberry taste was very prominent and we didn't like the fact that the blueberry syrup was not smooth, you were chewing the blueberries skins. And (from my perspective) it was just a sweet drink lol didn't taste matcha. The store was cute, big, and clean! Nice place to hang out. I like this coffee shop in Richardson Cityline. They had an extensive collection of seasonal lattes - I tried a coconut latte and it was wonderful. Nice and creamy, a perfect hit of caffeine with 2 shots of espresso in the regular size. There's a screen where it looks like you can place your order, but I went ahead and spoke to the barista directly. They also have a jumbo screen display showing where you are in the queue. They have a small selection of pastries from La Casita bakery. I was in the mood for a decadent, calorific treat so I ordered a grilled cheese panini. It came on a tangy, chewy sourdough bread which was nice, but sadly, it was pressed without butter so it was quite crispy and dry and the amount of cheese was stingy indeed. The decor is soothing. Lots of grey, gold and green. Lots of plants. I perched at one of the mini-tables with poof ottomans for seating. The hard bench seating featured lots of plugs evenly spaced, making this a great place to work. The gender neutral bathrooms were modern industrial and clean. read more

Got the elevated milk tea, and it was really good! Something to note is that several of the tables are VERY unstable. They lean to each side pretty drastically, so just be careful if you have drinks. That said, the spot had some good seating for work and just sitting around catching up with friends. A lot of people were working or studying when I got there. There's a self service ordering kiosk available as well. The pandan coconut foam didn't really mix in with the matcha and the taste itself isn't that special either. The brown sugar was too sweet for me personally. Glad that there's a craft coffee shop steps away from my hotel. I stopped by Elevated Coffee & Tea on a Monday morning around 9:30am. Cute cafe with comfy loungers and minimalistic decor. Elevated Coffee had an impressive menu of lattes. Besides the seasonal ones, their standing menu was what really piqued my interest. Thankfully the barista was very sweet and patient, because I was frozen by analysis paralysis and asked a million questions before finally settling on the matcha Kit Kat latte. The "Kit Kat" part of the drink was white chocolate syrup. It was also the most expensive latte on the menu. Nearly $8 for the regular and $10 for the larger size, which was wild to me. But hey, I bought it so I'm one to talk. I better be paying for the highest grade ceremonial matcha. The drink was really well made. I got nice frothiness at the first sip and smoothness the rest of the way. It had a strong matcha flavor and the perfect amount of sweetness from the white chocolate. Great balanced drink. The interior is sleek and clean and quiet. I saw a couple people working/studying in there. They have a kiosk you can order from, which is easy to use. It gives the coffee a more nutty favor without any weird after taste. I use to add honey to my coffee but it always have a weird after taste. We tried their caffe latte with brown sugar and coconut cream latte with brown sugar. We throughly enjoyed both. My husband is picky and likes his coffee strong. DRINKS Matcha - The matcha was very much tuned to American type of sweetness. The drink was very milky and pretty sweet more like vanilla than the matcha sweetness that other more Japanese places have (which makes sense). Overall not too bad but just more on the milky/sweet side. I hear they may be adding a ceremonial grade matcha drink which looks pretty tasty and I am definitely looking forward to that! Thai Tea + Boba - My friend ordered this drink so I asked for her feedback on it. The sweetness is a bit on the weird side but the boba has nice texture. It was chewy and not hard in the center. Overall, she would give it a 7/10! VIBES Pretty cute vibes. It's in an area with lots of apartments and also restaurants. There is pretty limited seating. I think there are around 4 tables and then like a small lounge area. There are a lot of plants which give a fresh and open atmosphere. Lots of people were either talking/catching up or intensely studying. Lighting is pretty bright which is nice. I would suggest either going early morning or at a time with not that many people because it can get kind of crowded. The store is cute enough to meet someone for a coffee and hang out for a minute, but it's in an area with lots of spaces outdoors to sit and enjoy your drink too (or even have a nice walk). Our group ordered a few different drinks and everyone loved what they got. The black coffee drinkers in the group thought the coffee alone was great. Honestly the fruit teas were super disappointing; had very little flavor. The honey jasmine milk tea was okay but not better than the elevated milk tea so I would just stick with that.
