Like most teenagers, our kids didn't exactly provide a playlist ahead of time, so while Joe was setting up we were texting him songs the teens wanted to hear. By the time everyone arrived, he had already built a great playlist and kept the energy going all night with similar songs and requests. The dance floor was packed from start to finish with about 50 high school students dancing and singing along to everything from "Beat It" and "Cupid Shuffle" to "Gas Pedal," "FEIN," and "Lip Gloss." What impressed us most was that the kids never seemed to leave the dance floor. For four straight hours, the dance floor was full of high school seniors dancing, singing, and having an amazing time. Every time I looked over, the same group was still out there having fun. Joe was professional, easy to work with, flexible, and really understood the crowd. He knew how to read the room, keep the energy up, and make sure the music matched what the kids wanted to hear. We received so many compliments from both the graduates and the parents. He helped turn the Viviana Hotel banquet hall into the place everyone wanted to be that night.
