We fell in love with the unique location of staying right on the sand (there's no street or noise between us and the ocean,) and have returned because of the outstanding service from On The Sand. The amenities are outstanding. Aside from the ocean that is right outside the door, there is a pool, jacuzzi, gym, library, billiards, ping-pong and a putting green. Multiple laundry rooms make packing light feasible. It is within walking distance to food near the pier or the harbor and the spacious kitchen even makes cooking a breeze. Our favorite unit is D 26. It was renovated recently and its shower is larger than most others in the complex. Its open kitchen has plenty of dishes, silverware and cups and a full-size dishwasher so doing dishes will not be required after every meal! It has ample pantry space for our family's food and snacks for a week and I appreciate the well stocked kitchen with blenders, serving bowls, pots and pans. It sits right on the ocean so in the morning, I sit on the balcony with my tea and watch my older kids catch waves, then head down to the beach as it gets warmer. The convenience of being so close and being able to have lunch in the condo is priceless. It is a great location to spend a week at the beach.

The beds are comfortable with fluffy pillows and white comforters. I'm here in the peak season and it's around $7k for a week. I personally think it's worth paying more to be right on the beach. The putting green area has seven (7) different distances 10, 15 and 20 feet away from the hole you can get putting to practice before you play golf. Free no additional charges to use the green areas. There are 38 golf courses within a 15 miles radius of Oceanside. Gated community with patrol 24/7 through 365 days of the year. Their duties are to ensure the NCV rules and regulations are maintained. Parking spots the unit has a designated one (1) to two (2) spaces available depending on the rental unit. Laundry Rooms in each building are available at any time. There are plenty of washers and dryers in each laundry room. After 21 years, coming back here is pretty safe, quiet at night and majority of guests adheres to the rules and regulations. We were surrounded by other rooms, we either didn't have any neighbors or they were really quiet. I was able to hear someone talking through the wall as a mumble, but that went away. Because of the seemingly thin walls I avoided watching the laughably small and awkwardly hung t.v. The worst part was the bathroom which because of the ac situation makes you open a window that stares directly at the door of your neighbor. They do have a nice enough lobby area with some coffee and snacks as well as a good place to sit an enoy them. The location is the selling point, very close to the beach and a few blocks away from downtown, I didn't use a car while there. That was great. They also have a really cool rooftop hangout area with chairs to sit and relax. For what it's worth, my wife liked this place more then I did.
