She was told no, because she wasn't a ustomer and didn't buy them here. Well, she didn't buy them from San Juan Eye Center in Delta and I won't ever darken their door again! Vista was clean, the reception was nice and helpful with scheduling, due to the travel involved. Not only did the doc take time, he explained exactly what he was seeing and didn't just do the..'which is better, one or two.' He took extra measures and found a possible diagnosis for the issues I have been having for years. This one catch has sent me on a path to gaining mobility and healing. I haven't gotten my glasses yet, but was glad I could get them there so they would fit what I need. If you want to get your glasses ordered the same day, make sure you ask specifically when the eyewear place closes for the day. It is different than the vision exams. Thank you!

They were very patient-centric, making sure I understood every step of the process. The staff made all post-procedure care steps very clear, and provided paperwork that reiterated the info for later use. The facilities also represent the business, being clean and professional in appearance. Even the admin/reception staff was supportive and helped to alleviate anxiety through their conversation and personal experiences with LASIK. The procedure itself was incredibly short and absolutely painless. Anticlimactic, really. The team worked together in a manner that made it easy to just trust them and do my part of lying there. Doctor Fox explained everything as he worked, and maintained great communication throughout the procedure. I know the procedure is not appropriate for everyone, but I don't know why everyone who can do it doesn't get it done. We buy TVs that cost more than this, and shouldn't our vision come before 4K big screens? So, the results...I read many internet stories of outcomes, but here is mine: My procedure was in the afternoon, and then I went to my hotel for my required nap (had to bring a chauffeur for this part). My eyes felt irritated and photophobic, and fought me when I tried to keep them open, but weren't really painful. I still had no trouble navigating to my room. The drops eased this irritation completely, so sleeping was easy. I woke up four hours later to somewhat foggy vision; I had dinner in bed, and went back to sleep for six hours. When I awoke, I had no pain or irritation, and could see very clearly. It was practically instant. I felt amazed just looking out the window at the sunrise. My follow up that morning - which I drove to - showed my vision was not only corrected, but was better than average. I drove the 2 hours home with no pain or irritation, enjoying the clearest scenery I've observed since I was young. A great experience and I could not be happier.

They kept several pairs of frames I was interested in tucked away for me while I was trying to decide which one I liked the best, and they all helped give me their opinions on which pair looked best on me when I asked. No one ever rushed me, and there always seemed to be enough employees present to answer my questions. I also thought they had a great selection of frames, and they were willing to order in a frame in a different color if I wanted to see it. The first insult- apparently I did so poorly on the eye test when covering one eye at a time that she said "do you have a CO drivers license" when I said yes she said, "I don't know how you got that with your vision". I was of course shocked that my distance vision was not okay and she could tell by my facial expression and yet she said, "you were way off. Not even close" when I read the chart from a distance. The Dr came in and asked what my goals were and I explained I wish I could see close up and his response was "so you want to be able to see close and have terrible distance vision". I felt like answering - yes that's exactly what I wanted. I always research with Yelp and I obviously did not this time. His reviews are horrible. Don't go there.

The office staff attempted to double bill her and only reluctantly, after half an hour of arguing and 2 separate visits, confirmed that she had already paid the bill. She has since had her other cataract removed by a world class eye surgeon at Wills Eye and has had a totally wonderful experience that could not be more opposite from Dr. Oster.

I do not think her bad behavior was isolated as she was oddly short on the phone with me this past Monday and it took her three business days to return my voicemail I left last week. This is not in line with the 5 Star experiences I have had with Dr. Cooper and his amazing staff over the last 13 plus years. It's a shame he has someone representing his fine business in this way.
