I'm pretty sure this guy went out of business finally. That…read moreold adage proves true once again. People don't always get what they deserve, but they usually get what's coming to them. Karma.

Here's your updated review with the additional point:…read more These guys are con men. Attention homeowners, contractors, business owners, etc.--beware! These guys were hired as subcontractors to complete custom closets, and after 10 months, the work is still not finished. The craftsmanship is terrible: hardware is crooked, gaps from the ceiling to the floor vary by as much as two inches, the painting is incomplete, and drawers don't shut properly. Their work is so poorly aligned that I could do better with a miter box myself. They constantly make demands, such as, "We won't be back until the floors are done," only to then get overspray all over the newly finished wood. Since this is custom work, it's difficult to find someone else to come in and finish the job, so they hold you hostage, saying they won't return until you pay another $5,000. I'm 96% paid, yet the work is only 50% complete--and it's a mess. The owner refuses to take responsibility, blaming everything from faulty drywall to the size of his workforce. He even knocked holes in the drywall and refused to fix them. To make matters worse, they took items from my home over 6 months ago and still haven't returned them. He also blames the primary contractor for delays, even though he personally promised he would finish the job and just never shows up. He claimed he was forced to cut his workforce down to two people--I'm guessing they're going under. Don't get caught in that! The drawings they provided look nothing like the cabinets. When I asked about it, he said the drawings are supposed to be a "rough idea" of what they'd look like--which defeats the whole purpose of drawings! You use drawings to know what you're paying for! Contractors and homeowners--stay far away from Logan's Woodshack if you don't want to get caught in a scam. After 10 months, no apologies, just excuses and demands for more money. The owner is a horrible person, and I caution anyone against using their services. Let me know if any more changes are needed!

Disclaimer: these apartments are no longer called Hidden Valley. They are called campus view…read more *copy of my google review*: This is the worst place to live. We were stupid enough to sign on for a second year. We haven't had properly functioning air conditioning the entire time we've lived here. Being on the third floor that creates a huge problem. I'm writing this review as my air conditioner has quit, again. We've had leaks all kinds of other issues as well. All the apartments are EXTREMELY humid. They give you no notice of when they need to enter the apartment, but expect the dog to be off site or put away. We got a note on the door they would be coming in the same day for an inspection- even though we were not home and had no way of seeing this note and preparing for the dog earlier. The parking lot was supposed to be repaved as I was told, however, they just paved one line down the middle of the driveway and the rest has been left the old and torn up blacktop. And the potholes are still bad. If you live on the left side- forget about finding a parking space. The complex is mostly students, however, much of the non student population causes many disturbances. We've had issues with fights in the parking lot. And even a neighbor who would ask us for money and constantly knock on our door.

Located behind the BP, Hidden Valley apartments are right across from the main entrance to NKU…read more While anyone commuting by foot easily has a half-mile walk to reach the lecture halls, the convenience of the apartments can appeal to low-budget students wanting to live off-campus. No frills here at Hidden Valley. Both the interior and exterior look dated. Each unit is carpeted and has a balcony. There is also a community pool and on-site laundry. Not a fan of the bathrooms, which have hard-to-clean tiled showers. The apartments are average sized with small closets. You'll find a lot of low-income families living here as well - not just college students. Be on the look out for lots of unsupervised children running around. While Hidden Valley is within walking distance of NKU, it's not close to much else. The bustling 471 / State Route 27 separates the apartments from the university at a major intersection. A Frisch's is nearby, as is Chipotle. You'll probably want to take a car to the grocery store; the Kroger is easily a mile down the street. If you can afford to spend a little more on an apartment, look elsewhere for a quality living area. Just a few extra bucks can make a world of difference. Pricing: - $525 for one bedroom - $625 for two bedrooms
