Be sure to call ahead to ask about the amenities. For example, the hotel has its own six-hole course that I think you can play for free. Had I known, I'd of brought my clubs an booked a t-time. Especially when I paid $2,400 for owner/wedding planner of her venue to make sure everything went seamless! We made the best of the day, but it was not the experience we had hoped for!! You want your daughter's special day to be everything she had hoped and dreamed of!! Not for her to say every time she speaks of her wedding. "looking back I wish we would have picked a different venue"! If this was my venue, the flower pots would not be bare and brown, clear umbrellas would be there for use if necessary, and a tent would be available for the bride to rent in the event of rain.

We often went into town about 8 miles away, but we were detoured a few times in the wrong direction trying to make our way back to the park - not the parks fault. If you have a mobile router, you will be fine and be able to enjoy all that Lookout Mountain has to offer.

We rented a 7 cabins…read more Things I did not like is if you have a registered service animal you can not bring them unless you have a dog friendly cabin. This is actually illegal. They charge a cleaning fee yet you have to clean your own cabin when you leave. We complained about the cobwebs and filth when we checked in and were told it was part of the aesthetic of the woods?!? We found food wrappers, old cloths from past guests, the sofa and pull outs were broken in cabin 9. I mean the list goes on. Don't charge a cleaning fee if you're not cleaning your cabins. The manager is so rude. I mean i was told people in the south were friendly but nope not this one. It is fine if you have a lot of people needing to stay in one place but if you can get an airbnb do so. Things I liked is the view! It was amazing. Very quite area and close to a lot of fun stuff including our venue. Was nice to have everyone so close and have a nice weekend with friends and family.
