We got married at Riverside Receptions in Geneva, but did all of our wedding planning from Pittsburgh. Despite being long-distance, planning with Kristen was very easy. It was easy to get a hold of her by phone (a bit faster than email) for our consultation or other questions. Our philosophy is to hire professionals and let them do what they know best. I had an idea of what color flowers I wanted, and then Kristen asked for my opinion on specific types of flowers. The end product was amazing! LOVED what she did with my bouquet and my bridesmaids' bouquets, they were gorgeous and had cool textures. Our wedding arch/chuppah was also beautifully done. What I really appreciated about Kristen is that she respected our budget (and didn't pressure us to add more on) and was straightforward with how to best spend our money.

I recently had an event that I needed balloons for and was able to reach out to 5 Balloons. As a fellow DIY-er, I've considered just making the balloons myself, but remembered how many balloons it would take, the tying of balloons, the labor to set up and more, it was just a huge weight off my shoulders to get someone who's craft is actually balloons. When I called, we talked about the date and inspirations that I had for my event. She asked questions about the location, and set up times to ensure that she will be able to meet the needs I needed for my event. On the day of the event, she showed up right at the time that we communicated, and her work exceeded my expectations. Folks were taking pictures with the balloons all night, and we even kept it up for others to enjoy for a week or so after. I can create elaborate sculptures for up to 20 children per hour, or smaller 2-4 balloon sculptures for up to 35 children per hour. Face painting is available as an add-on to balloons. I can paint full face or small cheek/arm art, around 12 children per hour. Balloon Classes are also available for parties, schools, and libraries. Children 8 years old and up can learn how to create a sword, flower, and hat in less than an hour. All balloons are supplied pre-inflated. Price depends on class size and helpers available.
