I can certainly say being a patient for 8 years, that Dermatology Specialists of Shelby has always shown and given Me wonderful care in My comprehensive skin treatment. Dermatology Specialists of Shelby started in 1981 and has been treating families and pediatric patients with the best quality care and treatments for over 40 years. They used different machines and techniques for careful skin treatments. I've only received Freeze treatment based on skin tags or moles. I had a skin lesion cut out for biopsy on my forehead temple area and it was not cancerous, being called keratosis. I am a patient with Andrea Rosik, M.S., PA-C who is board-certified giving high standards and compassion in treating Me, plus never a rushed appointment since she will explain what she thinks is important. I have seen her for freezing of skin tags or moles. Then in November for My yearly skin screening after those Summer months in the pool and outdoor in the Sun. She was voted Michigan Dermatology PA of the year in 2020 so belated Congrats to Her ! From check in with the staff at the front desk are very pleasant and efficient fast. There is also a New on-line check-in by text message before appointments. There is a patient portal website for appointment scheduling, medical assistance and billing as well. They accept most insurances for payment or surgical treatment plans. This Dermatology Practice offers: Skin Cancer Screening, Acne, Dermatitis, Skin, Lesions, Melanoma, Moles, Tags, Rosacea, Skin Infections. They will consult with Me about Sunscreen protection creams along with free samples. Cosmetic services are offered with Botox, Hydra facial, Laser Treatment, Fillers, and Micro-needle. I can certainly say that I have come to the right place for the past 3 months with an hour massage of Relaxation and afterwards feeling much Rejuvenation. I have received one Swedish and two Deep Tissue massages from a professional massage therapist named Jessica. Before a session she will ask what areas are tight and in need which is reassuring and comforting. She has helped my low back degeneration pain along with easing up the joint pain in my hands, neck, shoulders and legs from a housekeeper job of 6 months which I quit. I can't tell you how freeing it is to not have to worry about mascara! You looked don't up even if you aren't wearing makeup! I have a busy summer planned out and I prefer to not wear much makeup in the summer months. I can go with none of I have a tan which is a great option and makes getting ready very quick! Thankfully, we are using a sensitive formula on me now and I haven't had any issues! Yay!! So lashes are expensive. I won't lie. I have paid less at other places, but the lashes were not done nearly half as well. There are three levels of lash techs that you can choose from and goes based on how full you want your lashes. A classic set can be done by a Jr tech. That's where there is a 1:1 ratio of lash to extension. This gives a very natural look and is the cheapest option. If you want a hybrid, you are getting a mix of the classic and the volume. This is what I choose. A Sr or master tech is necessary for this option. It gives a lot of volume without being totally over done. There is full volume and some other extreme lashes that require a Master tech. My eyes hurt just thinking about that! What about maintenance? We, I choose to get a full every week. Most people go every 2-3 weeks. But I'm extremely picky. The longer you go the longer it takes to fill and the more expensive. For the weekly fills, it generally takes about an hour and about $60 plus a tip. An original full set takes about 2.5 hours and is about $250. I recommend you do some research before making a decision to get lashes. This place is very clean. They wash their hands prior to touching you. And their equipment is sterilized. You do not want to get blepharitis! The salon is super cute too. They offer a variety of services here, not just extensions. They wax, they do brows. And they also offer a lift and tint for your lashes that is a very natural look. I am extremely happy with the results and works totally recommend this salon if you decide to try out the freedom of lash extensions!!

I started calling again in August leaving more voicemails, because someone had clearly listened to them, deleted them.
