I booked with Shae for deep tissue therapy as another reviewer mentioned her effectiveness.. I highly recommend trying this place if you have stubborn knots, trigger points that need someone with experience to help you get them out. Shae was great to talk to and even the conversation helped me relax. Seriously, treat yourself to a visit here. Definitely will be back again soon. She ran through a normal massage, nothing to write home about. As someone who gets massages on a regular basis, I know a great massage from an average. This was very average. At the end of the massage, the lady stayed in the room while I got dressed. It was very uncomfortable. Social cues? None there... She even directly asked me if I was going to tip (while I was still putting my clothes on). That was weird and poor customer service. She watched me pull out my wallet, and as I went through my bills, she had the nerve to complain that I only tipped her $10. She said "only $10, what about that $20?". Excuse me? Who are you talking to...? I should have never tipped her. The fact that she did not give me any privacy, and then had the audacity to ask for MORE money after delivering a sub-par massage... ridiculous. Did I forget to mention that it was even a full hour, too? I laid down at 5:30 and she stopped at 6:20... if I am paying $80 for an hour, I would like an hour. This is not rocket science, in fact, it's actually a relatively logical system to follow. I would not recommend going here. Unprofessional and not a great massage.

Recently, I opted to receive a medium intensity massage. Honestly, I didn't notice anything different. It was still pretty intense. I suppose I can request a light massage in the future, but I really need deep tissue massage by the time I break down and finally decide to part with my money. They take both credit cards and cash. They accept walk-ins. I always call ahead, although recently I have been using text messages to schedule my appointments. I typically get hour or hour and a half appointments. The current rate for one hour is $90. If you are looking for a great massage, this might be the place for you!

The studio policy clearly had her rushed to attend to the next client who was probably more important because she had a more expensive hair job with cut, color, and otherwise. I just had a simple short haircut that should have been easily handled if she had followed my directions but she either didn't care or was otherwise too inattentive to give me the cut that I needed. I had to go back to have somebody else blend it in and was forced to have it cut shorter to blend in the top. Just FOLLOW DIRECTIONS! If the stylist has a concern or unsure, please communicate!!!! This is especially true for new clients like myself. SOOOO PISSED because I thought that if I paid a lot for a supposedly prestigious hair salon, I would get top notch service that I paid for but sadly no. In addition to losing myself as a repeat customer, you lost the business of my family and friends. We are all dealing with a LOT of Stress in our lives. We should be able to go to a hair salon and RELAX!!! Nobody should have to be on pins and needles praying and hoping that they get the exact cut that they describe and showed when paying near top dollar. I pray that the studio takes immediate action to ensure that this never happens to another client.
