I really enjoyed my visit to this outdoor mall. The entire property was clean, well-maintained, and…read morepleasant to walk around. The landscaping and open-air layout made for a relaxing shopping experience, and everything looked well cared for. There was a nice variety of stores and restaurants, making it easy to spend a few hours here. Parking was convenient, and I appreciated how tidy the common areas and restrooms were. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is that a few of the stores I was hoping to visit weren't here, and it got a bit crowded during peak hours. Overall, it's a great place to shop, grab a bite to eat, and enjoy a day outdoors. I'd definitely come back.

To the new owners of VG…read more.. I've always enjoyed coming to Victoria Gardens--it's a great place for families, shopping, and spending time outdoors. However, one concern that has become more noticeable over the past year is the lack of enforcement on the main streets. There are frequently vehicles speeding through busy areas where families and children are walking, and many drivers seem more focused on showing off how loud their cars are than driving safely. It's not uncommon to hear multiple cars revving their engines within just a few minutes. This creates a very unsafe environment and takes away from what should be a welcoming community space. Increasing police presence, even for short periods of time, would make a noticeable difference and help deter this behavior. I truly believe Victoria Gardens is a great place, but addressing this issue would go a long way in keeping it safe and enjoyable for everyone.

At first, I thought I was imagining it, so I deliberately walked to a different area to see if they would continue. They did. They tried to cover it up by constantly asking if we needed help. Within about five minutes, my friend and I were asked three separate times if we needed assistance. They also kept pretending to straighten merchandise and put items back on shelves right next to me while watching us. It was obvious what they were doing. My friend and I got so irritated that we just left without buying anything. It was clear we weren't welcome there. It's sad because I used to come here all the time in high school and throughout my 20s. I don't know what happened to this place, but they clearly racially profile their customers. You would think a store that sells so many products promoting inclusion and progressive values, especially in such a liberal city, would hold itself to the same standard. This is covert racism, and I will never be coming back to this establishment. Do better.

However, I haven't tried all the restaurants or visited all the stores. I may just have to create a must visit list one day. Anyway, it's a humongous shopping center with about 70+ businesses anchored by Target, Kohl's, Best Buy, Home Depot, Edwards Theatres, PetSmart, Staples, T.J.Maxx, etc. I've read this place is visited by over 9 million people annually. It's like the Disneyland of shopping and dining for real. I'm one of them visitors LOL. Where are you going next? I'm going to Eastvale Gateway! Ample parking all around so no worries there. Just so much to check out. You can spend a whole day here and get your 10,000+ steps in a jiffy. I'm game for it! Just gotta walk across the parking lot to get to the other side... it may take a few minutes though. I'll have to time it and let you know. I got photos somewhere on my computer. Parking is smaller than a normal lot. I'd recommend reversing into a spot or else you'd find yourself making a 3-point turn just to exit. This place is bustling with business especially on the weekends. Upon walking in, you'll be able to borrow a grocery cart on the off chance that you'd buy a lot or a big item. You walk down the right side and you'd see a lot of clothing. These clothes are mainly from Sam's Club, Costco, or Target. They also have shoes available. Only some clothing articles are 50% the name brand price, but most of them are only a couple of dollars off. They have a furniture/appliance section of their warehouse next to the clothes. I've seen refrigerators, washing machines, outdoor furniture, and indoor. Sofas are available for half the price. I've seen a lot of kitchen items and outdoor items. They have pantry stuff, but all are open so they can count how many packages per box. They also have canned goods. When walking around, you'll see some bathroom necessities, living room appliances, stationary, and toys. I enjoy coming because I'll never know what I'll find or may need. Other reviews are right though; service isn't that great and the people at the front desk are usually on their phone. Other than that, the deals aren't too bad if you truly know pricing and what to look for.

Purchasing an item here definitely feels like a gamble--shop if you dare. Customer service was practically nonexistent. There were staff members on the floor, but not a single person asked if we needed help. At one point, two employees walked right over to me, only to completely ignore my presence and start conversing about extra pizza in the breakroom. It was honestly kind of comical how oblivious they were to the shoppers around them. Overall, the atmosphere felt almost like a disorganized thrift store, and I absolutely would not recommend purchasing anything from this location. I am giving it 2 stars with the sincere hope that management takes notice and makes the necessary improvements to both the store's condition and the staff's professionalism.

There is parking in the front of store, but it usually gets taken rather quickly especially between 2 PM to 4 PM on weekdays. You can also park in the back, near the area where donations are dropped off. I usually come on Tuesdays, where discounts usually don't apply to me. I like Wednesday's where there are student/teacher discounts. To my luck, I went on a spin the wheel day today! You get to spin the wheel after your purchase for an opportunity to win items or get a discount. I like browsing their toys, vintage items, and office supplies. I usually get very good second hand items such as staplers, hole punchers, DVDs, shoes, and board games. This location is actually my favorite place to shop for vintage film cameras (I'm afraid to post this because my fellow Yelp friends will be coming more to grab them before I do!). Today, I bought a good pocket minolta film camera, some stuffed animals, and some office supplies. The cashiers are sweethearts and are willing to help you look at items! They also have an extensive amount of used clothes and furniture. It's definitely my favorite thrift store and will continue to be so.
