The store owner is a sweet lady who was kind enough to show us around and introduce us to the cuuutest friendly cato named Sammy! Well, she introduced herself, really, which was just purrfectly fine by me. If you're in the area, do come by for a visit! It was so nice hanging out on a hot desert day while in the gorgeous Taos!

This is a must-visit shop if you're into the intuitive and magical side of life. It's just a short (like 5 min) walk from the famous John Dunn shops and right next to a bakery (which unfortunately was closed when I was there). I visited on the recommendation of a friend and so glad I did. I only wish I was staying in Taos longer so I could check out some of the events they host.

It was absolutely one of my favorite shops while visiting Taos. It was filled with all sorts of little knick knacks and treasures. My eyes were on a Mickey Mouse inspired ring (which I will go back for so keep your paws off!!). My wife ended up picking up some rare out of print book and a few southwestern style gifts for her sister. The woman who runs the store offered a lot of information about the different things that she had, but it would have been helpful if there was more information around to explain the different things in the shop. The different things were very eclectic, so it was fun to look around. We didn't end up leaving with anything this time, and I'm not sure we'd be back, but it's worth popping in if you're in town.

It turns out the pieces are fabricated from scrap metal from cars. I debated between the two, but fairly quickly decided to buy both. Returning the next day, I had the opportunity to speak with the owner, Cam, and she was great! I also picked up two more pieces, the Water Buffalo and Wildebeest ... all that's left are the Springbok and Sable. Visiting this little store is highly recommended if you're visiting or just passing through Taos.
