That thought is very easy to have because my experience has been great at all Publix stores, and they are branching out further north. I personally think they have better customer service than Wegmans and definitely have better fried chicken (Mardi Gras wings) and sandwiches than many grocery stores. What I like is their commitment to cleanliness and consistency across their chain. It reminds me of HEB in that you do not see employees just standing around. The people who work there are always busy but never so busy that they do not take the time to ask if you need help. There is no issue of trying to pretend they do not see customers or an issue of constantly on their phones.

Grocery shopping for organic products on their Walmart platform was a breeze. The Walmart associate at the clearly marked pickup area at this store was polite and wore a face mask. The CDC (Center of Disease Control) guidance was respected consistently to keep everyone safe. The Walmart associate loaded promptly my trunk with purchased goods online. He asked kindly whether the substitutions selected for the few out-of-stock products were to my liking. The customer experience was stellar. I will certainly patronize Walmart again with this free contactless pickup service for any order 35+.
