Upon first impression I found the place very upscale and chic. My assigned stylist brought me to a comfortable chair and asked me what services I was interested in. I was just looking for a nice haircut. Maddie exceeded my expectations. She took me to the washing station next. I really liked the foot recliner there. She really took her time washing my hair and it felt great. For the haircut she made sure she asked exactly what I wanted before starting. Maddie really took her time and gave me the perfect haircut for my very curly hair. Upon arriving my hair was very sad looking but she gave my curls life again. I also appreciate how she took time to diffuse my hair and show me techniques to give my roots more body (I had mentioned how I wanted more volume/no flat roots). She also showed me some great products. Once the visit was finished she told me if I wanted to add more layers or needed anything to please come back. Maddie was excellent! As far as the salon.... It was very inviting and clean. The entire salon felt very stylish and upscale. Along with hair services they also have a nail specialist. The chairs for pedicures look so nice and they do other services such as waxing. I really loved the soft indie music playing and the prettty lighting. I awkwardly waited in the front until someone decided to even say hi to me. I had already made an appointment before I came in, and as a first time customer, I was a bit confused by the check in process. My tech's name was Emma and although she was very nice, the service felt very rushed. She did not take much time on my nails. She told me that the color I selected would not look good on me, and suggested I choose a different color. She ended up putting 3 coats of the gel polish on and it looked very thick. Not what I am used to. I was also not familiar with some of the brands of nail polish they used, so I was a bit concerned about the ingredients as I do have sensitive nails. The gel manicure without removal was $40, which is a pretty fair price. I usually pay the same as my usual luxury salon. I am not sure if I would return again as I was not super satisfied with the service and the overall experience felt very rushed.

You do have to tamper your expectations in a quick serve salon like this. The techs are nice and professional. Sure, they work quickly, but it's at a skillful pace where they are gentle and thorough. You may even have to leave your chair and sit in the waiting area to finish drying your toes, but that's only if they need your chair for another client. I'm considering scheduling monthly pedicures here. They do a great job and I don't have to stop my whole day for an appointment
