My wife and I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Brown. At one of our final prenatal appointments, Dr. Brown measured my wife's belly using a fundal height measurement and told us that the baby was "regressing" and that we needed an induction ASAP. Naturally, we were alarmed and asked if we could first get an ultrasound to confirm what she was seeing. She told us there was "no time" for an ultrasound. When we asked if our baby was okay, her response was, "Yeah, but why wait? I'd rather be safe than sorry." Hearing that from our doctor terrified us. She then pressured us to schedule an induction for the following morning at 6:00 a.m. We left the appointment believing something could be seriously wrong with our baby. Because we weren't comfortable proceeding with an induction based solely on a fundal height measurement, especially since my wife wasn't experiencing any concerning symptoms, we sought a private ultrasound ourselves. The ultrasound showed that our baby was measuring appropriately for the pregnancy, and the sonographer found no concerning issues. We declined the induction and went to triage the following morning for a second opinion. The physician there was surprised by Dr. Brown's recommendation and, at our request, ordered another ultrasound. After reviewing the results, the doctor came back smiling and laughing, reassuring us that our baby looked completely healthy and that there were no concerns. During our visit to triage, the physician also remarked that we were not the first patients to come in with concerns after seeing Dr. Brown. Hearing that only reinforced our belief that our experience was not an isolated one. What disappointed us most was not simply that another doctor had a different medical opinion. It was how Dr. Brown communicated with us. She came across as pushy and unwilling to truly listen to our concerns or respect our wishes. Instead of discussing options and helping us make an informed decision, we felt pressured to follow her recommendation without the diagnostic testing we had specifically requested. Every patient deserves to feel heard and respected, especially during such an emotional time. Unfortunately, that was not our experience with Dr. Brown, and based on our experience, I cannot recommend her. read more

Update: She did my D&C when I lost my baby inside my womb around 2012 she did not get my baby out, because when I went to bathroom I peed my baby out. Dr said it was tishue but its not true, I could clearly see my baby hands and veins, feet and veins. 2018 finally decided to update a review. Around 2012. The first thing i look in a dr. is if she is gentle with my private parts!!! second if she is patient to listen to my thousand questions. lastly to get dr. note if i say i'm hurt and cant work. well dr. brown excided 2 of those 3 things. she is very nice and gentle all the time with my private parts. & she is patient to answer all my thousand questions!!! only bad thing was dr. brown does not give out dr. notes for work and that's a no no for me. because if i'm telling my dr. that after my d&c surgery i'm in pain and i need a dr. note, i expect her to give me one for a week while my vagina heals. lol so i hate that she cant give a dr. note. but on the other hand when i went for my d&c surgery she held my hand for 5 minutes telling me everything was going to be just fine. if felt like a mom support. she is friendly and caring. her nurse name is pronounced mayan. also very nice. the front desk receptionist name are laura and cindy. & they just need to smile more!!! i recommend dr. brown. she does not give drs. note though okay read more

I'm definitely in disagreement with a lot of these reviews of Dr. Brown. When I was 36 weeks she was able to see that my baby had IUGR and at 37 weeks scheduled to induce us. Baby was born happy and healthy and I have no issue with Dr. Brown whatsoever. Also, I had ZERO tearing and NO episiotomy because Dr. Brown took her time with us. I'm sorry so many women have had negative experiences with Dr. Brown, but I'm a very satisfied patient/customer. read more

I switched offices more than midway thru pregnancy with baby number two and I couldn't have been happier. Her office is efficient and gets you in and out which is such a benefit when you have a little one at home. They consistently check your insurance to make sure you still are covered. (my last office did not do this and I'm still paying for it) Dr. Brown is like a mom. She's caring but not so loving that you feel uncomfortable. I personally loved her bedside matter but, then again it's just like my bedside matter Dr. Brown also did my Tubal ligation and so far so good. read more

I agree with the other negative reviews about Dr. Brown. I stopped seeing her years ago and there is a reason for that. She misdiagnosed me based on symptoms and was argumentative with me when I wasn't sure that what she speculated was going on, was actually going on. She seemed highly convinced she was right without even having test results. Come to find out she was entirely wrong once test results came back. I also went through billing nightmares with my insurance due to her office. Avoid her, there are much more compassionate and professional physicians out there. read more

Dr Brown initially starts off as a caring doctor but she isn't. She's always in a rush and does not answer your questions or concerns adequately or with compassion. I have been going to her for 5 years but the last 2 years she has been really cold and not good with her overall message and delivery. She will place your concerns on the back burner. Also, beware her husband is a doctor too and she will try to promote his business by suggesting you try his new "laser beam" machine, at his office, a minor procedure, not cover by your medical insurance that starts at $2000.00 to help with most on-going female issues. I think you get the point. I will not be going back. There are more compassionate doctors out there. I highly recommend you find one and leave this one behind. read more

I've taken awhile to write a review but feel like it's time now that I'm on baby number two and with a different doctor I am able to compare. Dr Brown for me did seem like a caring doctor and her nurse as well. My bad experience was during delivery. First off I had a fever that the head nurse discovered and Dr. kept insisting I didn't have one, second the hospital missed two of my meals , third of all they put on my hospital paper work that I had a planned c section which was never the case and did not occur. I discovered this through my new doctor and now need to go through the hassle of having that changed. The experience before birth was also not the best. My exams were always painful until I said something to her and then things were better. All in all not a good experience and pretty traumatic delivery. At the end they sent me a ceramic shoe as a memory of my daughters birth and misspelled my daughters name. I didn't even bother to call the office and switched doctors. read more

I cannot begin to explain how atrocious my experience with this doctor was. I do not think Dr. Brown should be practicing medicine anymore. First let me warn you that there is no glass barrier between the nurses in the front lobby and waiting room. Every personal detail that the nurses discuss (with the doctors, by phone, or who ever is in the lobby) is broadcast out to everyone to hear. I was shocked by how inconsiderate and condescending some of the women sitting at the front desk where. Second, EVERY single time I make an appt. with Dr. Brown she is 45-60 late, despite making an appt. weeks in advance. Third, she is very short with you, and does not take the time to listen to your concerns or health issues you would like to discuss. The very first time I met her, she would cut me off, tell me what I knew about my own health was wrong, and repeatedly gave me wrong information. According to her I have high risk HPV, which will apparently never go away (I had a pap every 3 months for nearly a year before I wised up and find a second opinion). I remember the first time I had my annual exam, she was nearly 75 minutes late, finally pulled me into the exam room, then spent another 15 minutes in the hall way talking to the janitor about their kids high school football game!! When she finally came in, she was in such a rush that she actually hurt me, and left me feeling very uncomfortable. When she was finished (without answering any of my questions), she threw some condoms on the counter, then ran outside to finish her conversation with the janitor. She didn't even wait for me to sit up and cover myself before OPENING THE DOOR. Let alone give me a bag to put the contraceptives in. Such a horrid experience. For the longest time I thought I was just new to everything, now I know Dr. Brown is lacking professionalism in her practice. read more

I had an amazing OBGYN for 14 years before he retired and I had to find a new one. I did some research and decided to go with Dr. Elise Brown. The first visit I went in and met with her, she asked how I was doing but didn't really wait for an answer. I waited for a bit to see if she would ask me questions about my life, and she did not. So I began to ask her about her life. She didn't make much eye contact and made a lot of notes on her computer. I just felt like she was doing her routine thing - and I didn't feel much care from her. I made a joke about how it was a miracle I got a boyfriend during a pandemic, and she didn't even think that was funny nor engage with the story or connect with me on it. That was the initial visit before I could have my well-woman exam. She prescribed me some birth control. When I came in for my well-woman exam, the nurse was nice. Then Elise came in to do my pelvic exam, and I felt like she rushed through it. Like how do you rush through shoving your fingers up someone's abdomen?! What I am saying is that when someone goes into the doctor's office for a female reproductive exam, and spreads their legs - that can the MOST vulnerable a female can be in her life! A woman wants to feel like the doctor is there for them and cares for them and wants to help them be the healthiest they can be. Rather than feeling like the doctor is just a rich lady who sees so many patients a day and rushes through each visit. Not to mention, whenever I tried to call the office to get a question answered or voice concerns, she would never call me back. The Nurse called me back regarding one thing, but then on another, the office completely forgot to call me back. My old OBGYN would personally call me and even leave 3 minute voicemails if it was necessary. I cannot stress enough how unfriendly the visits were and how awful it felt. Dr. Brown is OK (she will never give you more than 5 min of her time though, you kind of feel like in McDonald's drive-through lane, very rushed). Her staff however is absolutely horrible. She has this front desk person Debbie, who is especially rude, sarcastic and seems to enjoys her 5-min of power a bit too much. (I don't know if she's still there, because I stopped going to that office after what I had experienced) I came in to an urgent appointment with Dr. Brown, I was in a lot of pain, there were no other patients in the waiting room, and I asked Debbie if I could skip the address verification paperwork to expedite the wait, because everything remained the same since my last visit. She instead handed me a pile of completely unnecessary papers (most of which was general information I had already filled out before) and said in a very mocking sarcastic way "You're gonna have to go through the process and we will call you when we're ready" all the while she had this mocking unnaturally wide smile plastered on her face. I really didn't understand why this spectacle was even necessary, but she was clearly enjoying herself. Other staff (2 more people) were standing there watching Debbie's performance. All in all, I ended up waiting for my appointment for 40 minutes, long after I was done with the paperwork. My pain was so severe I could hardly sit straight. In those 40 min I saw NO other patients leaving the doctor's office, and when I was finally called in, there were no patients inside either. It really makes me wonder, if this would've been my wait time if Debbie's ego wasn't involved. When I told Dr. Brown about this incident she responded that Debbie is just "doing her job". In my world, doing your job means at the very least being professional while helping your customers (forget going above and beyond). If Debbie couldn't accommodate my request, she could've been polite about it. Instead, she chose to use this as an opportunity to boost her self esteem and establish who is in charge, which was never a subject matter in the first place. read more

Save your time and money. Went to her for years for a yearly pap and tolerated her behavior for the short appointment time of the Pap year after year (over 10 years). Here are 3 problems I encountered although have experienced more. After about 5 years, I started to see that this lady overreacts to my health, which I realize I should no longer tolerate. She seemed to get joy out of making me feel vulnerable and helpless. She overreacted when I gained 6 pounds from one year to the next. Really? Weight gain doesn't always mean fat. I workout and I'm a college athlete. I was offended by her comment. Not saying she should not say anything about it, but she never tried to seek to understand. She just said, I need to lose weight. Really? I'm athletic and weigh a lot, so what? Next, the biggest problem I encountered is when she tells me I have cervical cancer and will need to take out my reproductive organs. Really? I went for a second opinion and I had precancerous cells, but not cancer, which can be prevented without a major organ removal surgery. She already had an oncologist appointment ready for me to get a hysterectomy. I never thought I would ever disagree with a Doctor, but at this point I realized I needed to because something just didn't feel right. Maybe a ploy to get money out of me? I decided to go with Scripps from now on and tried to have my history transferred to the new hospital office. The receptionist called and said this office doesn't do that. They only send the information to the patient for a fee, but they don't send it to anyone else no matter if I agree to it. So dealing with this doctor and office seems to be a waste of time and money, but what I have learned is to be more proactive with the healthcare providers I decide to choose. I left in tears after last years visit and I've decided I will not repeat the experience and am now actively searching for another gynechologist, but I thought I'd stop here first to save another woman from the embarrassment of dealing with this doctor. I'm surprised to see negative reviews of Dr. Brown. I suppose we all have our "off" days, though, and you can't make everyone happy 100% of the time. My visit to Dr. Brown's office was as pleasant as could be expected. The waiting room is large, clean, and filled with baby magazines. I arrived 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork and waited about 20 minutes before I was escorted to an examination room by a nurse. I wish I could remember the nurse's name! She was very nice and made me feel very comfortable. She did the basics - height, weight, blood pressure, urine sample, medical history. Dr. Brown came in about 10 minutes later carrying a laptop computer. She was friendly, upbeat, and professional as she went over my medical history. She has a confident attitude about her that made me feel very much at ease. She did my pap and exam in a flash, then stayed to answer all my questions about family planning. She was very gentle with the speculum and explained each step of the exam thoroughly. As a healthcare professional myself, I appreciated Dr. Brown's efforts to make my appointment as painless as possible. I look forward to working with her in the future when my husband and I are ready to expand our family. read more

I am almost a year delayed in making this review, but Dr. Brown is well deserving of great reviews. She is a great provider, and was my OB throughout my pregnancy. Like a typical doctor these days, she can come off as rushed, but if you ask any questions, she will take the time to explain everything to you, making sure you understand and are not overwhelmed. She has a no nonsense attitude though, so if you are looking for a doctor to sympathize with you when you are making excuses as to why you couldn't do something, I would advise you look elsewhere. I personally enjoy that though, and find it refreshing to be called out on my stuff. She truly has a passion for babies too! It was always a highlight when she would do an ultrasound, and get all excited with us at seeing the baby moving around. I ended up having complications from my delivery, but she was there through the whole process, making me feel comfortable and informed as to what would be happening. After surgery, she was there at the hospital, checking on me at least once a day, for every day I was there (over a week). She even took the time to explain things to my family, helping them to be calm as well. I would say the one downside was I did always have to wait for my appointments, but after seeing how much care and attention she gives her patients, I feel it was a small price to pay. read more

I'm shocked by her rating! She has been so great to me! For being a first time mom she always makes me feel very comfortable. I would like to add to this since I've given birth. Most doctors come in at the very last second to catch the baby and Rush out.. At least in my experiences of watching people give birth, but this was not my experience at all! She came in and was with me almost the entire time I pushed. She was very calm and empowering all at the same time and the way she delivers babies is amazing! She doesn't put your legs in stirrups; instead she angles the bed down and sits on the end. I would recommend her to anybody! Let me start by saying I never wrote bad reviews or any reviews but this experience was worth a review. No issues with Dr. Brown herself, although she seemed busy and was very impersonal. Her office however runs VERY innefficiently. I scheduled a well woman exam with the intention of getting a Nexplanon replacement within a few weeks as I was moving internationally. Let me tell you, the process to get this Nexplanon was ridiculous. First, they don't have them on hand at the office so they have to be ordered. I called ahead of my first appointment to give them ALL of my insurance info and see if I could help them expedite that process. They told me they can't do anything to start the order process until my initial exam was completed but that I could call my insurance company to try to get the approval myself. In the time it took this woman to look up the charge codes for me to use when I call my insurance company, she could have just done it herself. And of course when I called the insurance company, they told me that they needed to speak with my health care provider. So I do my initial wellness exam and talk to the doc about scheduling an appt for the nexplanon replacement. She scheduled it for one week out and I thought all was good. A couple hours later, her staff calls me to tell me they forgot to have me sign the authorization forms needed for them to get the info they needed from my health insurance provider in order to order the Nexplanon. So I immediately complete the forms through their MyChart app and send back. A week later (day before my next appt) I call to see if they've received my Nexplanon and they say they have not. They cancel my appt and tell me they will call me back to reschedule as soon as they hear from Nexplanon. Over a week later, I call them back to check in (now with only a few days left before I leave the country) and they tell me, "Oh we've had it waiting here. Would you like to make an appt?" Soonest they have is a couple weeks out. So I angrily tell them this is inacceptable and am able to get an appt the day before I leave the country (having to reschedule important work meetings to accomodate Dr. Brown's schedule). I get to my appt early. It takes them 30 minutes to get me into the exam room. And now here I sit for another 30 minutes in the exam room waiting for the doc wih enough time to write this entire review. Doubtful I will make it on time to my 11:00 AM call which has already been rescheduled from 10:30 to 11 because of this damn appointment! Unreal! read more

I have had an absolutely amazing experience with Dr. Brown so far. I'm about 4.5 months pregnant and have seen Dr. Brown probably 5 or 6 times. Every single time she has been incredibly attentive to me and my questions, and provides as much time as I need to ask everything. This is my first pregnancy and there were 2 times that I called the office for an emergency appointment because of some scares I had. They got me in the next day both times and Dr. Brown was incredibly comforting. Everything turned out to be fine, and I felt so silly for getting so scared and making an emergency appointment. Dr. Brown, however, reassured me that this is what she's there for and being a mom is all about worrying so not to feel silly or bad for calling any time! I still have a few months to go, but if these first 4.5 months have been any indication of what's to come then I am in great hands! Another note about the office: The front desk receptionists are really nice, and the nurse I usually see (Jessica) is also great! Jessica remembers me every time I come in and always asks how things are going and chats a little. It's a great environment to not feel like just another patient. read more

This woman is the very, very worst doctor I have ever encountered. I am surprised she doesn't have sanctions or any actions against her. I wonder if she isn't one of those fake doctors with fake credentials. She honestly knows less than I do about medications. She recommended one that is definitely quite old, with better options now (just research online!) that she knew absolutely nothing about. I doubt she spends much time doing any type continuing education or even researching current trends in her own field. I switched after just a few weeks of my pregnancy. I've been seeing Dr. Brown for a few years now for my regular exams. Her office is a bit outdated and could use an upgrade, but it is clean and pleasant. The front desk staff are kind, and helpful. I hate waiting when I have an appointment, but as long as it hasn't happened every time I visit, I can tolerate it. I don't like that she prefers to make an appointment to give all test results rather than secure email or phone call. I understand the reasoning behind it, but it's a time consumer if you get a lot of tests or are just waiting for something routine. She has always been nice in my encounters. I like how she explains what she is doing it, when she is doing it, and why. I can see why some people might be upset about a quick visit, or some feelings of her being judgmental but I honestly don't think it is intentional. I had a horrific experience with her. I don't think she's a good doctor at all and would not recommend her. Oh, and some major waiting time for your regular appointments. No respect for your time at all, and I think her practice of medicine is questionable. Also, she punctured my uterus during a missed miscarriage d&c, she was very, very, very late for it and when I was waking up from anesthesia confused at what she'd done, the nurse said that dr. brown had to leave to pick up her kids. Absolutely shocked by Dr. Brown's rating. I'm a picky and somewhat a high maintenance patient since I work as a service professional as well. Customer service, no matter your professional degree, is of utmost importance to me. I went to Dr. Brown three years ago after my primary care physician refused to see me without a large deposit for my first prenatal appointment (maternity benefits had not yet kicked in). I was skeptical because of her ratings but her office was professional and kind when I was looking so I thought I would give her a shot. Needless to say, I had a successful first pregnancy (I'm over 35 years old) and after a year and a half of seeing other doctors (Scripps) that my insurance covered, I've subsequently ditched them and returned to Dr. Brown who was willing to work with me until my new insurance (which I picked solely to cover her) kicks in. I've had some issues with miscarriages and now 17 weeks pregnant I trust no one but Dr. Brown. She addresses all of my concerns. Certainly never makes me feel rushed. She's direct and doesn't sugar coat anything. If I have a concern, the staff is always there to assist me and help me address the issues. I can't express how relieved I am to be back with Dr. Brown's office. She's confident, caring, and I trust her. I'm proud to call her my doctor. *update- just had our second child two months early. Prior to the birth there were a number of complications that came up. Dr. Brown was amazing. She calmed me and kept me informed. I would not have faired so well if Dr. Brown had not been in my corner. She went above and beyond to make me comfortable and come up with a plan that worked for my family. read more

AVOID GOING HERE!! I saw Dr. Brown in 2015 for my annual and during that appointment she was rude and argumentative with me and misdiagnosed my issues. Since she is in my insurance network, so I decided to give her another shot and made an appointment for 3 year check-up (9/27/2018) and ended up waiting over an hour before telling the receptionist I had to leave to get back to work. I understand that doctors are busy, but some of us have to take time off from work to make these appointments and we shouldn't have to block off 3 hours just to be seen. Dr. Brown could have at least come out and told me herself, rather than making the poor receptionist come talk to me. I will say the receptionist was nice. BUT I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK. I have had a great expirience with Dr Brown. She delivered both of my children. She even came to check on me in between her office appointments while I was working on getting to 10cm. She is very personable and caring and I would recommend her to any of my friends. There are times when the wait is longer than others in the office, but what doctors office doesn't have that!! She is sweet knowledgable and explains everything to me with respect. I had a great delivery and a wonderful pregnancy with her. The post partum care was also good. I went in to get my very first prenatal visit with Dr. Brown, and I was very excited about it. While I was waiting I overheard the receptionist saying that when she doesn't feel like talking to people she puts them on hold, which is very rude. Anyway, I went on to my appointment and everything was looking fine until Dr. Brown started the ultrasound, she told me it was not a normal pregnancy, that the baby didn't form the way it was supposed to, there was no heartbeat, and that in a couple a weeks my body was going to reject it and I was going to pass it. After that I had to wait three and a half weeks to see her again because she went on vacation. All this time I thought I was carrying a dead fetus. I went in the second time to see why I haven't miscarried, and as she started the ultrasound she said "oh, there it is, everything is ok now" I was very confused since she told me I was going to have a miscarriage, after that I became concerned, I was trying to explain to Dr. Brown why I was concerned and she just kept saying "don't worry about it" before I even finished my sentence. So I felt unheard. During those three and a half weeks I was in a very deep depression because I was waiting to "pass" my baby, as Dr. Brown said I would, she never told me to keep taking care of myself or the keep taking my prenatal vitamins. The worst doctor I've ever had . She was cruel and almost caused me to go into shock during labor because she wasn't "ready", but then when she finally decided to listen to me about the pressure and stress I was feeling she decided to give attention and my baby was out in 2 pushes.!! She practically fell out , the pressure was so forceful I ended up with 17 STitches!!! This could of been avoided if she gave a crap and listened to my body instead of putting me on her agenda!! I dreaded going to my 6 week appt because she was such a monster ! She makes you feel like you're stupid and like you don't matter ! Soooo many other things happened , it's not worth mentioning , it would take all day ! At the end of it I hope she goes out of practice because there are many other "doctors" that actually CARE for their patients !!! I found one and he delivered my second child and I'm now pregnant with my third . He made my second experience blissful , the way giving birth should be !!! read more

Negligent. Obviously has too many patients for her own schedule. We were recommended to come here from my sister in law, told her during the first appointment who she was. (she delivered 3 of her babies) Comes time to deliver and its all "oh do you know so-and-so?" yeah lady I've told you this 3 times now. Low Cesarean Numbers huh? perhaps that's because she Put Dr. Witgrove (Her office partners) name on the forms when she does one? Don't be surprised if you wait an hour past your appointment time. Only to have a 10 minute checkup. Highly disappointed. Some people get nice little porcelain shoes when they deliver, some people don't. This chick still didn't know my Fiancées name a week before delivery. Idk maybe its because we are on MediCal. Its obvious she takes good care of some Women and totally rejects others. oh yeah and the receptionists...... All together negligent absolutely negligent. read more

Do not go to Dr. Brown's office. I had to wait over an hour for her to rush into the room, spend 5 minutes with me and rush out. Terrible experience. I also had to provide my insurance information 4 times because they kept inputting it incorrectly. After all that I STILL received a bill saying my insurance didn't pay for anything and I owe the full amount. That is absolutely ridiculous. My insurance covers an annual exam. Save your time and money and visit a real Doctor who will value your time and health. This was my first and LAST appointment at this office. read more

Don't go to her! The only cool thing about the office was the receptionist. They are so nice! But unfortunately dr brown is to busy to care about you or your pregnancy. I was called by a medical assistant telling me that my child was positive for Down syndrome and I will be told more information later. EXCUSE MEEEEEEEEEE. YOU TELL ANY MOTHER TO BE THIS INFORMATION SHES IS GOING TO FLIP. I had a meltdown not having all the facts. I don't think I've ever cried so hard in my life. After further testing my baby does not have Down syndrome. I didn't know a medical assistant could call and even release this type of information to a patient. There were mix ups with my appt I waited over a hour to be seen before for a 3 min check up. It's crazy I should have listened to the bad reviews but I was like oh no most of these girls are pregnant and hormonal I'll give her a chance. Well I wish I would have gone a different way. I had a terrible experience with this doctor. I get a migraine just thinking about it. She billed me for a follow up visit that never took place. When I called her originally, she apologized and said it would be taken care of. A year later, the billing department sends me a bill, I tell them the story, and she disputes it. Months of back and forth got me nowhere and then I received a collections letter. Absolutely ridiculous. This doctor was completely dishonest, and now I'm stuck paying for her mistake. Make sure you get everything in writing from this dishonest doctor, as her word apparently means nothing. read more

Dr Brown is the best obgyn I have ever been to. Done was very kind and listened to me. She was very knowledgeable. I was in a car accident out if state and in the evening when I was 10 works pregnant. I called her at hours line and received a call back from her in less than an hour. She talked to me extensively about all of my concerns. I only had one visit that I had a long wait time for and she apologized and explained that she had an emergency at the hospital that she was dealing with. I went into preterm labor at 35 weeks for to sudden onset preeclampsia. The hospital wanted me to have a c-section, I was very upset over this because I wanted a natural childbirth. When Dr brown came to the hospital to do the c-section I was in tears. She asked what was wrong and I told her I had wanted the baby naturally. She reviewed my chart and said she would try natural. She got my blood pressure under control and induced me. I was in labor for 36 hours and she was at the hospital often to check on me. After the delivery I had complications and she was again at the hospital often. The nurses even commented on how most drs don't see their patients as much ad she does. I recommend her to everyone. read more

I went to Dr. Brown with a gynecological problem and all she wanted to talk about with me was birth control. I did not once ask for advice on birth control but she went over different procedures that I was completely uninterested in. She talks and talks and doesn't listen. She pinched me with the speculum which hurt very badly and she didn't say a word! She rushed through the appointment and was completely unhelpful. I was told I would be given a call with results and to schedule a mammogram by the end of the week. It's been two weeks and I have never heard back from her office. The wait time is long and the receptionist is less that friendly. This entire visit was a waste of time and I can't believe I'll be receiving a bill in the mail soon. read more
