Iwould definitely NOT recommend this company. Zero communication, disregard for patients needs…read more I had surgery on the 27th and Pinnacle was to provide home therapy 3x a week. Someone came on the 28th for several hours but basically fought with her computer that whole time. She spent about 10 minutes working with me and left. I heard nothing again until the 31st when a PT assistant came. It is now the 4th and I have heard nothing from Pinnacle! I have now called 3 times. The first time I left my number, I'm still waiting for a call back. The second time I spoke with someone who told me I had not been scheduled for therapy all week but someone would call me to take care of that. Still no return call. I just called again to have them discharge me. I was told they would do that tomorrow. It's now over a week since my surgery and I've only had 1 real therapy session. I can't start therapy anywhere else until I am discharged.

Over a four-week period as a VA-contracted home health patient, I experienced some of the most…read moreincompetent nursing care I have ever encountered. Out of four nurses sent to my home, only one -- Danielle -- was excellent and professional. Nurse Yoshi dumped the contents of my VA pill box onto a table because I had missed two compartments, leaving me -- a patient with documented cognitive issues -- to individually identify and re-sort loose unlabeled pills. That is a patient safety incident, not a nursing visit. Nurse Krystal was openly arrogant and said to me condescendingly, "What, you can't fill up your own pill box?!?" I am a 100% Service-Connected Disabled Veteran. That is how she spoke to me. On my final visit today, Nurse Philippia showed me her tablet which had the completely wrong doctor listed as my physician of record -- someone with no connection to my care. She also had to come back five minutes after leaving because she forgot a required signature. I have filed formal complaints with the VA Office of Inspector General and VA Administration. Veterans deserve far better than this. -- Carl, Veteran patient
