When you first walk into the office, you are greeted by a very nice young woman and she's been there for years, and knows her stuff. She is always willing to go that extra mile to help you out in any way that she can, to make you feel comfortable and take that "dentist nervousness" down a little bit while you're waiting to be called in for your appointment. They are usually really busy, but you never have to wait more than 10 minutes past your scheduled time. All the staff here are very friendly and polite. They know that people don't usually like going to the dentist, and they will do everything in their power to make you comfortable while your there. They will ask you if there's anything that you need while waiting for the dentist. This husband and wife team are a great asset to the West Park Dental Clinic and are very thorough and explain everything in detail and make sure that you understand exactly what is going to happen while your there. When you're done, they'll ask you if you have any questions, and if there is any instructions on to take care of the procedure that you just had done, and make sure that you fully understood what was just explained to you. They will usually give you some stuff to take with you and if something should go wrong, like an infection, to make sure that you follow their instructions. I've always left the office, after my appointment with a smile on my face because I was treated well and respected. One of the new dentists, Aman, did a fantastic job with the help of the clinic's long-time and efficient crew. In return, I got endless waits, months-long delays for fillings, and years where I couldn't even get a proper cleaning. The front desk experience was worse. The blonde receptionist is consistently rude, patronizing, and unprofessional. I've witnessed her treat others the same way, and nothing seems to change. When I asked for a new mouth guard, I was told my file was canceled because I hadn't been in since 2019. That gap included the pandemic and the fact they had no hygienists available, forcing me to go elsewhere. Instead of understanding, they assumed I was a bad patient. Meanwhile, they keep cramming in more clients than they can handle. Parking lot always packed, yet the care stays basic at best. Sure, the dentist hands out giant chocolate bars on Halloween, but that doesn't make up for subpar service or poor patient care. If you want timely, respectful dental care, look elsewhere. This office is about business volume, not about patients.
