As this was our first experience searching for window replacement services, we didn't quite know what to expect. Universal Windows Direct of Las Vegas was the first company to stop by our residence. It was a same day appointment. As soon as we called in, a team member arrived at our house in the evening. We informed the team member about several of our windows and the crack in one of the panes. After inspecting the windows, he had taken all the necessary measurements. From there, we went down to discuss quotes. A example window replacement was provided. He had mentioned it would be better to replace all of the windows in the house to match since the new design would look completely different from the builder grade windows we have now. After informing the team member that we were really just looking into the 3 windows in the upstairs bedrooms, the team member provided the quote. Due to pricing and the difference in the window compared to the current windows in the house, we decided not to move forward with Universal Windows Direct of Las Vegas.

This did take two days for the entire house which was communicated that this could happen. No big deal. What is a big deal, as the pictures will show and document, UW does NOT provide a finisher to tidy up the new work completed. I have been in contact with Jeff and have requested this be completed as we even purchased the paint to match. They have scheduled and rescheduled multiple times. July 2nd, July 6th, July 7th and have canceled on the same day, during the time they are supposed to arrive. They now have us scheduled AGAIN July 11th. Btw today's date is 7/9/26. As you will notice the consistencies with this company. Poor customer service =Poor reviews. Repeatedly. Believe the sales pitch, calling the manager John, for an unbelievable discount and price, you're getting the best deal ever, blah, blah, blah. For almost $30k to replace builder grade 30 year old windows, which is a huge investment, we should get what we paid for at the bare minimum. The biggest red flag was that the guy, was SOO EAGER for the sale and contract to be signed. Family member said I would like a day to go through the contract and make sure everything is good. He said, well I don't want to write up the contract if you're not going through with it. Red flag! The sales guy told family member that it has 50 yrs warranty. Tried telling family member a quote for 25k. Sales guy then calls the boss, " Hey man here with "family member" wondering if they can get a better deal! He's big on honesty and we spoke man to man". The boss then quoted 16k bc apparently there's 2 more jobs being done in the area, so it saves them a little. Well of course my family member is smart (also works in sales). Used chat gpt to help break down the contract! Chat gpt of course pointed out everything wrong with the contract. Warranty is good for only 1 year! Family member called Sales guy back and said that he's very disappointed bc sales guy lied. Sales guy then of course started talking out his ass. "This is just the way I was thought. Not really sure on the verbiage used in the contract." If you don't fully understand your contract, don't sell Shit!! Sales guy calls gm, gm calls family member. Off hand started YELLING at family member, being so disrespectful. Wouldn't let family member speak. Then hung up, just hung up in the middle of trying to work it out. The company is obviously so bad. But their "tactics" to try and sell their damn windows is just awful and a trap. They were there from 6p-10p just pushing to get the contract signed. There's very little "breathing" room to fully read the contract and to back out if wanted. They're pushy, don't know how to take no, and very rude!! Please save your time and energy!
