After looking into it further, it was determined that the door had warped, so they ordered a new one. Update to My Purchase Experience At first, I was happy with the order, but things have become very difficult. It's hard to track where orders are, which makes planning tough. The door swing ended up being opposite of what I thought I ordered--Jones' door swing definitions are different from Home Depot and even from industry standards, which caused confusion. The image provided wasn't clear either. What I expected from good customer service was a simple rehang at no cost, since the issue was rooted in unclear information. This company has no interest in what you need but are more interested in how much money they can make from you. Make sure you check the product delivery and installation because I was charged for a premium product and then when I looked at the product it had a different name. If I had to do it again, I would go to Anderson for replacement or build be much more satisfied. read more

I am new to the St. George area and was happy to see an alternative to The Home Depot for windows for a small building I am constructing. I ordered 3 windows and was told they would take 4 weeks to be manufactured in their plant near Provo and be shipped to St. George. You can imagine I was pleased when Joshua, from the St. George location, called a week and a half early to tell me I could pick up the windows; they had arrived. I picked them up and noticed immediately that they had no packaging for shipment, but I said nothing. As I began to install them I noticed that the fins and frames on all of them had damage - chips, cracks, gouges, pieces missing. Thinking they had been purchased and returned by another customer, I called Joshua to inquire about them. He became indignant at my suggestion that he had given me returned items. As for the shipping packaging, there is none - they send them without any protection. I sent him pictures of the windows and he said he would speak with his shipping manager, but that the windows were actually functional and they would not allow them to be returned. I was shocked and disappointed that the quality of his windows was actually less that than those from The Home Depot, though I had paid more, and expressed this to Joshua. His response was simply, "that's absolutely right". I am appalled that Jones Paint and Glass would actually unapologetically allow this quality of window to leave their facility and then be totally devoid of concern - either of the quality of their product or of the satisfaction of the customer. I have photos available to any who would like to see. I cannot in good conscience recommend Jones Paint and Glass to anyone needing windows. There must be a better choice somewhere else. read more

My rotten experience with this company continues. After the most unprofessional work I have ever seen during the installation of my windows and sliding doors, problems continue. The double pane window just shattered. During the replacement process I found out the original window manufacturer I requested and WAS BILLED WAS A LIE. The actual bill from Jones listed the manufacturer I requested, however the window repair company says the window is in actuality a cheaper brand from a different window manufacturer!!!!! WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE AND HOW DO THEY STAY IN BUISNESS? My only reason for this review is not to complain but hopefully prevent at least one person from throwing away their hard earned money to these unscrupulous, lying crooks. read more

I had a very nice experience with this company replacing my hutch glass. Found this beautiful cabinet at The Garage Sale Co. and the owner referred me here to have the glass installed. Picked up the hutch/cabinet and drove right over to Jones where they were able to assist me with the measurements and install. Update: Added one star for quick response and one for Mikes great work. Today (19th) Mike came and spent a couple of hours working on the doors. One door he fixed to my satisfaction although I still don't understand why the manufactures don't seal the top and bottom a little better. They rely on the screen being in the rail gap as a "seal". If the screen is too short then the gap won't hold the screen in. This was the issue with the other door screen such that he had to order a replacement. Nevertheless I was impressed with Mikes work and hope he installs the replacement. Sept 2019 Jones paint and Glass installed replacement retractable screen doors. The top and bottom of the screen doors are NOT SEALED and a stiff breeze or a light touch results in a gap which insects and even small animals can get in. The tension is so tight that a stiff breeze or a light touch sends the screen SLAMMING open (retracting). When I ordered these new screen doors ($500 each) I was told that the quality was vastly improved over the old models. THIS IS NOT TRUE. I assumed that I had gotten screens that were not fully assembled and that the tension could be adjusted so the doors are not on a hair trigger. The installation guys came back out after me hounding them for a week. They simply said sorry but this is how the doors are. I don't blame them but I do hold JP&G accountable for selling inferior product while telling the customer that the product is vast improved. I would very much like my old screens back on my door and $1000 back in my pocket. I have called Tom and left a message. Stay tuned to see what happens. In the meantime, DO NOT BUY retractable screen doors from Jones Paint and glass unless you don't have a problem with gaps in the screen and SLAMMING open in the middle of the night. read more

I have to say that I am so bummed that I spent over $10,000 and got new Windows and they new window frames are dirty looking, sloppily installed, and sliding glass doors are shorter and scratched frames. I can't believe I paid that much and it looks like this. So sad. If someone put in new Windows on a new house and the frames looked like this, they would flip out. I just got tired of it and wanted them out. 09-18 - so bummed that I used this company. The design on the sliding glass doors have the screen door hitting hr handle and removing the paint in the door handle. Screens that you have to take off, bend. And my utility bill has not decreased at all. But now I need more windows and I have to match them. Sad. read more

Bought a new home in August that had windows supplied by JP&G. Two of the windows had defects so the builder ordered new windows before closing. 10 weeks later JP&G still doesn't have the windows. Worse than that, when I called to ask for a time estimate I was told JP&G did not know and the windows would be available when they were available. I ordered a windshield through my mechanic and was told it would be about two weeks. Yesterday was two weeks and my windshield wasn't in the order. I called to voice my concerns, as I'm 45 minutes from any civilization and my vehicle windshield is shattered making it illegal to drive. The lady, Grace was very rude and not accommodating. Sadly she has very poor customer service is pretty rude talks over you doesn't acknowledge any of your input at all and has zero patience. I requested a quote for 4 windows in March. I came back three times and on the 3rd time, after begging for a quote, I finally got one. I made the purchase Nov 5th and was told it would take 4 to 6 weeks to get the glass in. I asked that they do everything they could to install before Christmas. Today is January 28th and they still are awaiting for two windows to show up. I've paid for half back in November. I'm told that they will do some investigating and get back to me. I asked when, original response as soon as we can. After expressing more frustration and asking for my money back he finally agreed to get back to me this afternoon. I hate leaving negative reviews but my experience has really been that bad. I hope this gets resolved and that I have a reason to come back and a star or two. read more

It been almost one year since JPG replaced my Door Casings and door threshold to outside doors. They needed to be replaced due to weather damage and didn't look very good. When the work was done by JPG, the casings were not mitered correctly leaving a big space that has allowed water and dirt to leak through. Then, when installing the threshold on my patio door, they broke one of the plugs in the middle. They promised to repair or replace but never have although I have called numerous times and sent emails. Since I am a senior, almost 80, they were probably counting on my passing so I wouldn't bother them anymore. Surprise, I'm still here and still dissatisfied in Toquerville. read more

How could a company the size of JONES PAINT AND GLASS have such poor ratings? What a disgrace. Here's my story, although I doubt that it will make any difference. On December 15th, 2021 I ordered a glass tub enclosure. It took about six weeks for the parts to arrive. Upon arrival the glass doors were about three inches too long so the installers called their boss Tom. Tom came out to see what he could do. Tom asked if I would be willing to allow them to raise the bar that the doors hang on, up above the tile and onto the drywall above the tile, with the understanding that if I wasn't satisfied, they would change everything back to the original plans. I agreed. As it turned out, the whole family disliked it. Everything was up three inches higher than it should be. I tried several times to contact Tom but he was never available. I did however talk to other representatives of the company that said they would make sure Tom got the message. One man even called me back and told me that he had talked to Tom and that Tom would be getting back to me to take care of the situation. I NEVER heard from Tom. I tried one more time since and left a message with Tom to call. No call. It is now July 15th, 2022, eight phone calls later and the problem has not been resolved. I called a while ago to have my windows replaced in Fredonia, AZ. I was told by the company that they couldn't come into town because they were not licensed in Arizona. So, today I found Jones paint and glass in Fredonia, AZ replacing my neighbors windows. Did the company just get licensed in Arizona? By not having Jones paint and glass come into my hometown, I needed to go to nearby companies that could get the job done. I had Jones Paint and Glass install some double pane windows for me eleven years ago they have a ten year warranty and now the seal has gone out in them and they are all fogged up. I am so sick and tired of replacing double pane windows every eleven years so I asked Jones If they could put a single pane in for me so I never have to replace the windows again. They said no I would have to replace the whole window frame. I called Sun city Glass and they came right out and gave me a bid on single pane glass and said it was no problem putting them in a double pane frame. Now after Sun city glass replaced them they look wonderful and I love them. I will never call Jones Paint and Glass for anything ever again. read more

I have been waiting for a month to get someone to come out and do a bid for our bathroom shower surround and door. Everytime that I call in, they say that they don't know where I am in the queue, but I will be called when they come out to measure. At one time, they said that they do bids in Hurricane on Tuesdays, when that didn't happen, I called up and they told me that they were in Logandale and that I would get a call on Thursday or Friday but most definitely on the following Tuesday, obviously that never happened. I am so frustrated with their customer service that I could scream. read more

The 1 star review regards only the building paint department; lines are long for Brent in Automotive due to the incompetence elsewhere in paint. I've never dealt with such a crew of lackeys before in my life. They have a "take it or leave it" attitude that they convey onto anyone who walks through their doors. As for mentioned, Brent in Automotive is an absolute Godsend! Without him, they would have to close up their paints department; he's personable and incredibly smart. I have been left waiting at a counter, with an employee who finds that a smartphone video, in the warehouse, is worth leaving me and other customers waiting, as he spends enough time for all of us to walk out to watch with four other co workers. The other departments (doors and glass) are terrific and will bend over backwards to fulfill the task handed to them. read more

Very poor customer service I went to their website and asked for a quote for my project. They acknowledged getting the email and asked me to email them back which I did. Nothing, then an email asking if anyone had reached out to me, I returned an email saying that no one had contacted me. Then nothing. This is the poorest of service. We have many others who can provide much better service and must need the business. I would not use this company for anything period!!! read more

OK. Fair is fair... Jones Paint and Glass came through and made good on the shower enclosure. They had to remake both the side panel and the shower door as well as install a new hinge system. This was a euro, frameless, neo-angle enclosure in clear glass so not the easiest job to do. In any event it's completed and we couldn't be happier. read more

This is a long time coming but I have done all I could to make my Windows work. They installed their so called top of the line Windows on our brand new home back in 2005. Every year since its been a battle with the nice winter breeze coming right thru. Every year I have asked for their assistance and every year I get the same results. More winter wind coming thru my "top of the line windows". The last 8 years i have had to seal my Windows with shrink wrap to keep some of the air out. 3 Windows actually inflate the shrink wrap even before I can shrink it. Personally,i would never buy from them again unless I want to continue wrapping my windows every winter. read more

I went to Jones a couple months ago after getter my rear side window knocked out of my truck (just getting around to posting this review). They got me in next day to have it fixed which I thought was great, then I got my truck back.... I still had glass blown across the backseat and floor. I was like whatever I'll just vacuum it out and suck it up. Then I shut my door and heard a ton of glass still inside the door like they didn't even try to vacuum the inside of the door out. Just put the window back in and called it a day. I live in Colorado so bringing the truck back in is not an option (which is the only thing they offered) I asked for a refund or even a partial refund and they were not willing to do anything other than have me drive 9 hours back from colorado to have them fix something that should have been done right the first time. They were lazy with doing their jobs correctly the first time and completely unwilling to even try and make it partially ok. read more
