    Free cute pin!
    Amy T.

I was excited to see that there was a Yelp Elite event at Tastea :) And even more interested that they were letting us try their energy drinks! I thought we get to choose 1 out of 2 of their energy drinks but they gave both out. Shark Bite and Green Mamba were the drinks. Out of the 2 my fave was the Shark Bite...the lychee flavor was nice and it wasn't as sweet as the Green Mamba though both was very sweet and carbonated lol. Overall, good experience trying energy drink boba and they both provided a nice kick start to my Saturday :) Thank you Hayley, Tastea, and YelpOC for another great event! P.S. Loved the free cute boba cup pin we got!

I really enjoyed this Elite tasting/event. Everything was a smooth process. The staff already had the elite list in front of them so there was no confusion when we informed the cashier about it. He checked off our names and asked if we could please wait about ten minutes since he had to make four drinks just for us and had several customers who had ordered before us. It was no problem. Before receiving our drinks he handed us cute pins of the boba drinks. I thought that was really nice. He asked if we needed a cup holder which we appreciated and gave us our straws as well. He was so nice throughout the whole process. I did find that the drinks were very sweet. I wondered if I should have asked if I could get the sweetness lowered, but based on other reviews it looks like it may not be possible with the energy drinks. I forgot to ask for free boba! Oops. I loved the cute shark gummies in the shark bite drink. I found that I liked the Shark Bite better. Also as the drinks dilude a little bit, it helps with the sweetness. I was shocked at the size we received for both drinks as well! I am not sure what size they are for sure but it looks like 20 ounces. That was really cool to receive two of those absolutely free. A big thank you to Yelp for this freebie and opportunity to try these new drinks and a big thank you to the Tastea staff for offering us so much along with those adorable pins. Very great service as well.

Love me some boba! And I need all the energy I can get after a long day at the hospital. lol This was the perfect treat! But I didn't get the honey boba I asked for :( Sadness! It's okay though. The energy drinks were tasty. And a great boost of energy! I think I liked the shark bite one a little more. Thank you to Hayley and Yelp for this great grab and go Elite event! :)

I was so excited when I saw a Yelp Elite event for Tastea, that I RSVP'd right away. They have new energy drinks? Sign me up! I arrived around 11am on Sunday, and since it was towards the end of the event - I was surprised I still received 2 cute Tastea pins. Def a plus!! The staff were very friendly and provided quick service. I opted for honey boba in both the Shark Bite and Green Mamba - although upon drinking it, I think I will opt out next time. Both drinks are overly sweet and carbonated, so the carbonation with honey boba wasn't a pleasant match. It tasted kind of weird. So for the rest of the drink, I purposely avoided the honey boba (insert sad face here). I would have liked it if we could have adjusted the sweetness of the drink - or even opted for stevia as a substitute. After bringing it home, I added a ton of unsweetened/unflavored soda water to dilute the sweetness. Out of the 2 drinks, I may be in the minority here but I liked the Shark Bite better. It was fun trying to get the gummies out, but also the lychee flavor really came through on this one. Thank you Hayley, Tastea, and YelpOC for organizing the event! I really enjoyed this one!

Staff was super nice from start to finish and drinks came out fast. Both drinks were good, but my favorite has to be the green one, mango citrus. You can get boba in it, but I opted out. I took a few sips and already felt the caffeine, so it definitely works to energize you. I forgot to ask how much caffeine was in the drinks, so if anyone knows, please let me know! Thanks Yelp community and Tastea for this cool experience. :)

Thank you Haley, Tastea, and YelpOC! I've been a fan of tastea so I was excited to try their new energy drinks. This tastea is located in a small plaza with a good amount of parking. There was no line when I came. I thought we got to pick one of the two, but they gave both! They didn't ask if I wanted any modifications or add ons, but I got a cute pin. The shark bite was sweet and refreshing. I liked the taste before mixing. Once I mixed the drink, it became too sweet. The green mamba tastes of strong citrus. It was more carbonated. I'm not too big on energy drinks but both the flavors were a good pick me up!

Huge shoutout and thank you to Tastea, Hayley, and the rest of the YelpOC team for another amazing event! I came in on Sunday afternoon and the check-in process was smooth and easy. Gave the cashier my name, he asked if I wanted any additional toppings, waited a few minutes for my drinks, and I was on my way! I don't always drink energy drinks, but everyone once in a while there's the need for a boost before the gym or a long day. I'm so glad that these tasted familiar in a way that it wasn't too much to adjust to - but if you aren't used to canned energy drinks, this may taste a little different for you. Of the two, I found the Shark Bite flavor easier for me to drink a lot of at once, but I overall liked the stronger citrusy flavor in the Green Mamba. Both are tasty and pack a mean caffeine punch! (The caffeine was so strong in the Green Mamba that I had to take breaks!) It's so cool to see Tastea continue to expand their offerings, and I'm so grateful for the opportunity to try these drinks out!

Indeed, what an amazing Tastea treat! This Anaheim location is my go-to place to grab my favorite drinks (chamango) and I was very excited to become a part of this new energy drinks experience. Staffs were courteous. Clean location. Khanh, who helped checked me in was very helpful and friendly. He informed me of what beverage I will be getting and asked me if I wanted an additional toppings for both my drinks. I opted the lychee boba and regular boba. He handed me a cute pin as souvenir. 1) Green Mamba - A mango and citrus energy drink with a dried orange slice 2) Shark Bite - A lychee, strawberry, and citrus energy drink with shark gummies Both tasted great. A bit on the sweet side for me but doable. I like the Shark Bite better, in my opinion, because I love lychee drinks! The additional boba toppings adds more flavor to my drinks. Definitely a must try. Come check it out!

I was delighted to receive an invitation from Yelp to attend this event for Tastea! I always pass by this area and I always wondered how closely Tastea and even the nearby THH really resided by each other. Finally an excuse to check it out! Quick notes everybody! Easy to find building and it even had a cherry blossom-like tree in the parking lot with many spots for you to park! Upon entry, you're greeted with a few tables and even the bright spots for Tastea! ‍‍ Service greeted with a smile, a check-in and an immediate affirmative for the goodness to come soon! And guess what! Free stickers and free pins! The prices are exactly what you would expect from Tastea and especially similar to all the other Tastea spots! Sad news though, no chicken. But then you could also bring those hunger cravings over to THH nearby. Otherwise, we were greeted with the Shark Bite and Green Mamba. The Shark Bite was my favorite, considering the caffeinated drink not only has that berry sweet flavor but the gummies inside and even the endless gazing when you stir the blue and red syrups together. The Green Mamba was also something to take note of! As the orangey zest had carried that tangy flavor without the need for gummies!

    Stephanie T.

I was initially weary of drinking an "energy drink" in the afternoon after work but I needed the lift. Between the green mamba and the shark bite, my favorite was the shark bite. A taste of lychee, strawberry, and citrus with a shark gummy was a treat. The caffeine wasn't too strong in either drink. Service was quick and the staff were very friendly. They offered a pin for the visit too! Thanks for the experience and also to be part of the soft launch for these items!

    new tastea energy drinks!
    Jennifer H.

OVERALL : Tastea has energy drinks now and I am HERE for it! Thank you so much to the Yelp CM team for giving us the opportunity to try out these drinks. They're fizzy, fruity, and strong! Def enough caffeine to keep you going through a long day -- I would say it's the equivalent to a full energy drink. I like the option of getting this if I'm looking for something stronger than a fruit/milk tea. You can also add toppings such as boba to it too, which makes it more fun if you want to slowly enjoy it throughout the day. Staff was friendly, service was quick, and the pins/stickers they gave were super cute as well! PARKING : Located in a plaza with other shops, not hard to find parking especially late at night! They're connected to a THH sandwich so if you come during the day you can grab a snack too! I came later into the night so I just got my drinks :) FOOD/DRINKS : Shark Bite - A lychee, strawberry, and citrus energy drink with shark gummies -- stronger on the lychee side than strawberry or citrus, but in a good way! I liked the purple / blue layering of the drink and how it changes color when mixed. The shark gummies were such a cute touch to the drink! This one was my fav. Green Mamba - A mango and citrus energy drink with a dried orange slice -- I did taste some mango in this, but it wasn't super apparent during my first sip until I really thought about it! I did get the citrus flavor though. Not sure how I feel about the super bright almost radioactive green color buuuuut it's def eye catching!

Great new drinks! I thought we only got one drink but you actually get to try both with a topping (either honey or crystal boba). I also got a little tastea pin and some stickers. The order taker David was super nice and helpful when taking the order also. The drinks are refreshing and almost remind me of Dutch bros. It's definitely not as sweet as Dutch bros which I prefer but make sure to mix them so you're not just drinking syrup!

    Pins!

Thank you Hayley and Yelp for another awesome Elite event! I've never been to Tastea before so this was a nice treat. I received the green mamba and shark bite drinks after checking in. Not sure what the "energy" is in these energy drinks but they are on the sweet side! The shark bite was definitely yummier. The green mamba had a slightly odd aftertaste, almost artificial. The pins are so cute! I was surprised to get 2. Although I probably wouldn't get these drinks again, I'll have to come back and try the more traditional, original drinks at Tastea!

Since this was my first year attending I was specifically looking for a few that looks delicious with hopes let down. Supposedly some of them come from Nor Cal and other places. I do really appreciate all of the vendors being pretty friendly, and most of all vegan. Prices were okay, the dip dots soy icecream was very overpriced. Pizza slices were also up the wazoo. Ended up eating inside of healthy junk per usual. Thought they'd have more than brauts outside, was hoping for some creative dishes... Overall; worth it if you're okay with crowds, little seating a lot of standing. Hot sun, but plenty of options to cool down with drinks or indoor places to eat at instead on the downtown area. The wind picked up a bit, but it only added to the atmosphere -- I think the shivering helped me burn off more calories!! The taco bar was yummy --build-your-own and full of selections. I managed to get three tacos but wanted to eat more, but I got so excited about my awards (yes, I won a a trophy!) that I ended up missing out on more food... though I did manage to enjoy two flans. I love my sweets! :) And I absolutely loved seeing old acquaintances--aka little Sonder reunion was the best and hoping beginning of more meet ups!! Shout out to- Minh, Raven, Jessica, Doug and Long (thanks for the pictures). Long is cool, just like #ClintonLu the official photographer! :) We ate, laughed, celebrated and cheered on celebrity Yelpers - congrats to Quinn, Minelia, Brittany, Mimi and other winners!!

It was such a great time celebrating the yelp-year. I parked in the structure at the Anaheim Gardenwalk and walked over. The Marriot had staff to let us through the gate. At 7pm we were allowed to take the elevator straight to the rooftop on 11th floor. So much excitement as we waited to enter the event space. I immediately saw the RED YELP MUGS. Ahh swoon. I've been wanting one of these for so long. Santa heard my wishes and came early. Congratulations to the 2025 Yelpies Award Winners: - Reviewer of the Year: Britney M. - Photographer of the Year: Mimi J. - Complimenter of the Year: Jenny C. - Best All Around Elite: Minelie A. - Rookie of the Year: Karen G. - Social Media Sensation: Emily K. - Explorer of the Year: Quinn N. - Trendsetter of the Year: Tamara T. - Collection Curator: Daria R. - Keeping Yelp Useful: Monze G I started off taking photos of everything before it got busy, and then got into the taco line. They had Executed Chef Rey Galura leading the taco bar area. There were also a few cocktails that I opted out from. The horchata and flan were great. The magicians at Beer and Magic had a table in the back but they also came around to the tables. There were three magicians, spreading the love in all directions. Nelson was incredible and he shows us some awesome tricks. He definitely made our night magicallllllllll. And no event is complete without a PHOTOBOOTH. Gosh I consider myself quite the photobooth expert and I am extra impressed by Jenuine Photobooth. They even custom 3-D printed a Yelp prop which made the photo taking experience even more special for our event. They were super nice and printed as many copies as we needed. And the printer and photo quality was among the best. Shout out to my ladies Catherine S., Lisa Y., Marie D., Mimi J. and Tammy Mimi S. who made the event even more enjoyable. Until next year yalls. SYOY!

The plus side this time around is that they have a completely covered area to eat your food. Picnic benches are laid out with a full awning. Parking is still great. Prices have gone up for both the tickets and parking so be prepared to pay $15 for parking and $15 to get inside. Services dependent on what vendor you buy your food from some will accommodate the request and others will not. Of course if there's no accommodation to the customer, they've lost my business.

[Parking]: $15 per vehicle for on-site parking just to enter the OC Fair & Event Center. [Admission]: Our party purchased the same-day tickets and paid a $16 per person entry fee. [What to expect]: The market was approximately half food vendors and half arts / crafts / gift vendors. There were solid craft and gift vendors, but not too many art vendors. The food was extremely overpriced ... a simple appetizer = at least $15+ & a filling meal = at least $25. The only real positive? There was a mahjong area that offered free lessons. The performance stage was alright. [Food]: Our party ended up getting only 6 pieces of soup dumplings (aka XLB) from Dumpling Dream for $14 and a cup of gelatea from Boutcha for $7.20 (one of the most affordable and best item to get at the market). [Conclusion]: If I ever come back to 626 Night Market, I would probably stick with the Arcadia location as parking is free and the admission fee is slightly cheaper. I am still having a hard time digesting the fact that getting into the market cost $30+ before even buying any food if I come here alone and I would also need to spend another $25+ just to feel like I had eaten a legit meal. I am good with this one-and-done visit.

I can't eat coconut stuff but that banana bread pudding was to died for, don't really taste the caramel. $8.49 for the Banana Caramel Bread Puddiing and remember you can mobile order this item. Now getting back to the Food and Wine, got my 8 item pass and you can order all at once at one of the main booth and pick up the items along the way, no need to get in line for every item you need. I purchased my pass at the first shop you see when you enter in the DCA to your left or there are other places you can purchased these passes at participation locations on which you can find on the little food and wine booklet. As you can tell by the pictures, i have label a grading systems out of ten and the most desires items are the mickey snickers and the sirloin gruyere mac & cheese, everything else were mid or decent, other than the three items that is not part of the SSP. Can't wait to go next year but I'm hoping to go to the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts at DisneyWorld in January of 2027 (dates not confirm yet, maybe TimTracker vlogs will tell me later on this year)

This festival was a great way to try different foods but my partner and I were surprised at the portion size since it was our first time experiencing this. Since it is Disneyland, expect the portions to be extremely small. I think if you have the chance to, it's nice to part take in the festival but definitely not a must. Some foods were just a little gimmicky and not worth the price. Items that stood out and would get again! - Pickle Sour: 5/5 - Ramen Mac N' Cheese: 5/5 (goes great w/ the chili oil they included) - Sirloin Mac N' Cheese: 5/5 - Toffe Banana: 4/5

The event brings in a lot of vendors in and around Huntington Beach. This was my first Taste of HB event. There were breweries, wineries, food, and even grocery vendors. The food and drink is all inclusive with admission which means you get your money's worth just by walking around and trying everything out. It began at 11 am for VIP and 12 pm for the general public going until 4 pm. If you brought your lawn chair you can camp out for the entire time enjoying the live entertainment and sunshine. You park at the HB Sports complex where parking is $1 for the entire day or you could valet for $5. Highlights for me were the spicy edamame from Reef's Edge Grill (Shorebreak), Three Twins ice cream, Strongbow cider, Pan Roast from Ritter's, and the corn and watermelon samples from Solita's Tacos. Great event and can't wait to check it out next year.

It was a little hard to find empty tables to seat since there weren't much seats avaliable. During tasting hours, we tried so much food from the booths. I appreciate how Taste of HB has many tasting booths (40+) for everyone to try! The lines weren't that much of a wait, but there was a lot of people so it was hard to get through. We went for multiple rounds for most of the booths and enjoyed every booth's food! Our experience here was enjoyable. They had bands playing and other giveaways going on. Parking wasn't a haggle. I'm planning to go here again this upcoming year! Can't wait. You guys should go check it out.
