First time coming here (came from central California) and was overjoyed to see so many vegans and vegan curious people attending. I also enjoyed the event layout and variety of vegan food available.

I'm not a fan of Healthy Junk anymore, but I needed to check out their Vegan Faire. I was mainly interested in the food vendors and I was very impressed by the number of options there. A lot of them offered free samples too. Our first stop was at Clean South. The line was really long but it was worth trying. I got the combo with buffalo wings, mac and cheese and potato salad ($15). I wasn't impressed by the mac and cheese but everything else was great. Next, we stopped at Good Town Doughnuts and picked up the box of mini donuts ($12), which was delicious. Our last stop was at The Naughty Cookie. They have the BEST vegan cookies that I have ever tried. We got the chocolate chip cookie and s'mores cookie ($7). I'm already looking forward to next year. Hope to see even more food vendors. Tip: come early for free parking. Parking spots were almost all filled up at the start of the event.

Awesome vegan event created by Healthy Junk in Anaheim. And best of all, it was free.99!! Unlike these other vegan events that wanna charge $30 just to go in.... Vegan Beer Fest, I'm looking at you! lol There was music, clothes, beauty products, and of course food!! Unfortunately I was only able to stay for like 20 minutes when they first opened bc of work, but I still had a chance to check out a few of the booths. I got my favs from Plant Food for People: a torta ($7) and the boat ($4), and a matcha green tea ice cream cone ($5) from Divine Dips. I was also able to snag a few samples and coupons from Gardein, Califia Farms, & Follow Your Heart. I also just haaaad to get the cutest shirt from @vegetaryn that says "Lettuce Eat Plants" ($25) ^.^ Other booths I saw were Southern Fried Vegan, My Vegan Gold, Vegan Pizza, Doomies, Falasophy, Best Gumbo in the Hood, & Life is Sweet OC, just to name a few. If you didn't make it today, be sure to check it out next year. I know I definitely will be requesting the day off in advance next year!

Admission - Free! Samples - Free! Parking - Free parking in the structure! Long lines - NO! Great vendors - YES! Great people - YES! Great food - HECK YES! This is one of the best fairs I have been to. It was not crowded so it did not take long to get food. Doomies was there with their Big Macs! There were other vendors that sold clothing, beauty products, jewelry, and other products from local businesses. I highly support that! The location is perfect, on the streets outside Healthy Junk or Junk Bar so you could enjoy their food and drink as well. There was dancing, raffle giveaways, yoga, what a fun filled event. I can't wait for the next event, see you next year!

First time attending Vegan Faire! It was not what I expected. The food was decent but the amount they charge for vegan food is RIDICULOUS. Most of the vendors are located in OC. So why would I spend my money on food that are ridiculously inflated? It was definitely a good experience. I didn't realize there were so many vegan stores located in Orange County. I love that so many people attended this event, I've never seen so many vegans/vegetarians in my life! It's great that many are adopting this lifestyle or simply just wanting to eat healthy. Hopefully next year the food will be more affordable. I'm sure it'll encourage curious non vegetarians to try it out.

This was a pretty unique fun experience with many food vendor's as well as other vendor's selling their vegan product's plus live shows. I came around 5pm and it was packed, the line's for the food where ridiculously long BUT I am very patient with these sort of thing's so I didn't mind. My child and nephew enjoyed their time here too so that is a huge plus. (They did get irritable in the line, but later where just fine and dandy) Towrds the end I was able to find an awesome delicious hot sauce spot (INFINITY SAUCE) and definitely bought me some of those. Highly recommend them. Advice for myself and anyone looking forward to another one of these events: Maybe next year I will come as soon as it starts to be able to try more food vendor's and sweets. Seriously line's are looooong. Lol.

It was my first time attending after adopting my new vegan lifestyle and it was great experience! I was amazed of how many people were there. The ambient was very nice, the atmosphere was pleasant and there was a great variety of food stands to chose from. Looking forward to the next vegan faire

Came here on a weeknight for dinner and it was not busy. There are a lot of tables inside with a stage towards the front for live music. The space is light on decor with exception of the walls which had images of lion dancers and other things. Food is ordered at the front and brought to the table when ready. We got the Crispy Oyster Mushrooms and the Eggplant Tofu. The Crispy Oyster Mushrooms came in a portion size that was larger than we expected. They tasted like the Salt and Pepper Squid dish that my family gets from Chinese restaurants which we really like. However, the breading was heavy and a lot of the pieces at the bottom were oily. The Eggplant Tofu was solid. Both the Eggplant and tofu were cooked well and had a nice savory sauce. This dish came with rice on the side. Overall, giving Vegan District Asian Eatery a 4/5. The first time I came was last year with friends for a birthday, and while it was perfectly fine, I left thinking, "That was nice." Nothing more. Then I moved to the area, fate (or maybe just convenience) nudged me back through the door, and I decided to try something different. That's when things took a turn. The restaurant itself is small and cozy, the kind of place that feels like it's giving you a warm hug the moment you walk in. The two girls who usually work there are absolute sweethearts. They're always kind, welcoming, and attentive even when they're experiencing a huge rush. I've become such a creature of habit that they already know my order before I even sit down. It's always the soy beef pho. Every bowl arrives like a tiny cauldron of comfort, bubbling hot with clouds of fragrant steam, accompanied by crisp bean sprouts and a bright wedge of lemon. The broth is rich, savory, and deeply soothing-I love that it doesn't taste like it's soaked in MSG compelling me to guzzle gallons of water afterwards. Every ingredient tastes fresh, every sip feels intentional, and every visit somehow manages to feel just as comforting as the last. Since transitioning to a more plant-based diet, I thought I wouldn't be able to easily find the same comforting experience that mimicked the memories I had of eating this dish with my dad growing up. This restaurant has managed to gently restore that memory like a small candle fire warming my soul. This place is unassuming from the outside, but once you step in and experience it for yourself, it is truly, truly special.
