There is definitely a lot to see here but it seemed like as I walked though the booths I got the feeling of "been there done that" - I do this a lot so I have a routine and an eye for what what what I collect - I never enter one of these thrift shops uhm I mean "antique store" without a plan I rarely buy anything except for what I collect, if I have a need for something old, something new I shop on eBay or Amazon. I always get hyped before the hunt begins but when the hunt mean going through a lot of garage sale items I get frustrated and bored and unfortunately I found a lot of that stuff here. Don't get me wrong there are some treasures here and lots of bits and pieces from days gone by and you may find your raison d'etre unfortunately I didn't find mine here today...

My views regarding this shop are as diverse as the merchandise on the shelves, there's a lot to love here but I also feel a lot of the stuff is here to fill the space. This is definitely a place I'd frequent if I lived in the area, it seems the ownership has an eye for things that are unique and these authentic items some that I took photos of are things that appeal to me. I did appreciate the store's layout which allows the customers to move around freely without all the clutter - the name "Junk" is deceiving this is a nice clean shop that is very well organized. If your tired of visiting shops that seem to never turn over their inventory you'll love this place - although you won't find aisle after aisle of glassware and plastic trinkets you will find lots of eclectic treasures...

The owner is very cool, helpful & friendly. I went in looking for nothing in particular & ended up having to tie the hatchback down on an SUV. This is a fairly large store, with hidden treasure everywhere. I spent well over an hour there & am not sure I saw everything. There are paintings, lamps, tables, china, crystal, ....you name it, a bit of everything & something for everyone. I so enjoyed roaming around the store & just exploring. I bought some unusual things, which are my favorite things to buy. I ended up buying an 8 foot dead tree, in a brass pot, to put on my porch, beautiful, but hard to get home, it wouldn't even fit in the elevator, but so woth it. I will be adding this to my places to stop in & visit. What's a girl to do? Keep looking for the unique & unusual items that fit my personality.
