He never did the repair work. After waiting several months for Spilman, we hired another contractor to repair the damaged areas. We posted our complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Except for several insulting texts to us from Spilman, the complaint went unanswered. Eventually Spilman stated in several texts to us his intent to reimburse us for the cost of repairs if we would then inform BBB of the resolution. We agreed to his extended time frame for payment & sent him the bill, per his request. As the deadline approached, we reminded Spilman of his commitment & again he texted his intent to pay. That deadline has passed & we have not received payment. Once again, Spilman did not stand behind his word, work or warranty. It has been a long & unpleasant experience. We would not recommend Spilman, Inc.
