They rarely answer the phone, it's a hassle to get them to send prescriptions to the pharmacy, and they failed to inform me that the provider is no longer in-network with UnitedHealthcare. I genuinely tried to support Black-owned practices, but at this point, it's no longer about that -- it's about professionalism for me now. The provider herself is extremely rude and unprofessional. She seemed to think she could raise her voice at me without expecting a response -- but I have a voice too. I truly don't understand why some healthcare providers carry themselves as if they'll never need help from others. That kind of arrogant, abrasive attitude is both disappointing and unacceptable. Looking back, I should have left when the previous provider, Ritchie, left. She was a class act. Since then, the office has gone downhill. They expected me to make an in-person visit every time I needed an increase in my Zepbound dosage -- even after being told by the provider herself that follow-ups wouldn't be necessary for that. What shocked me most was that the provider physically put her hands on me to force me out of the office. As someone who was raised to respect my elders -- I am Haitian, and we value that deeply -- I found her behavior completely inappropriate and beyond disrespectful. Honestly, her attitude is probably why her hair won't grow and her face is covered in bumps like a road map -- which I happily used to guide myself to a better doctor's office.

Whilst they don't have imaging equipment like MRI and CTs for walk ins, the student physician's assistant advocated for me and gave me a full EKG. I left here with some possibilities for what I might be experiencing, a little more certainty. This is how you build trust with LGBTQIA+ patients. B) The main physician saw me for 3 minutes and prescribed me a medication that I am contraindicated against. That is the reason this review is 3 stars instead of five. When I got there, only one other person was is in the lobby. Just a note it's small inside plus they have seating blocked off due to COVID (Which I'm okay with). The staff was nice at the front desk and the paper work wasn't that long. I had another person in front of me , so I had to wait a bit in the exam room. The PA ( I'm saying PA cause usually doctors say that they are a doctor when they walk in, if she's a doctor I really do apologize ) asked me what brought me here and actually listened to what I had to say. She told me what she thought was wrong and ordered some X-rays. Additionally, she added an X-ray to see if what I thought happened was going on as well. Got the X-rays done and what she said was the right thing and she took her time out to explain why. Gave me a shot and I was on my way home. Woke up this morning in barely any pain compared to the day before. Thanks to the staff there for proving me wrong and taking good care of me.
