I went to MDNOW because I had a UTI and was prescribed Cipro. My culture/specimen was sent to their lab to verify the antibiotic prescribed and found it to be resistant to the infection I had. Dr De Zalle called to let me know and a prescription was already waiting for me at the pharmacy. My Dr would never have done that and I wouldn't have gotten better. I deducted a star because there was a woman in the waiting area blowing her nose and coughing all over the place. They should proactively bring patients like that to a back room to wait, away from others. read more

The PA misdiagonosed my illness. Or should I say missed the diagnosis completely! I was the only one there, on a Friday morning, which says something in itself. I checked in online and was seen relatively quickly. I told the PA my symptoms and he classified it as a viral infection. I was instructed to get some rest, drinks plenty of fluids and he prescribed a cough medicine. I had these symptoms for eight days and no chest x-ray, no covid/flu test or anything. I think he just wanted to get back to watching his phone. On Saturday, I went to another urgent care and they tested for covid, flu and strep and performed a chest x-ray. I won't say what I have but it was something that needed antibiotics and not just rest and fluids. Needless to say, I won't be going back to the first urgent care location. They totally missed the mark and it makes me wonder how many other people that they have missed the mark with. read more

These people are so dishonest. They told me they could treat by broken/dislocated toe, so I paid the $210 upfront charge. Once they had the money they told me that not only would I have to go to another location for my x-ray, but even after the x-ray, they don't have a podiatrist on staff, so they don't treat feet. I would have to go to a third location for treatment. Then why take my $210 at the beginning instead of telling me I should go directly to a podiatrist?????!!!!! They did absolutely nothing except tell me that they could do nothing, and then refused my refund. I am still fighting with the credit card company to try to get my money back. read more

It sucks when you write a review for unfortunate reasons for visiting a business! I have thought about coming here over the years but I stick with another clinic close by. Well, I finally visited due to having later hours when I was feeling like shit and had to work late. During these pandemic times, it is assumed almost every time you are sick, you have COVID. I did not think I did but I was feeling horrible for 4 days and only getting worse. We arrived about 6:30pm. Luckily my last client ended session early so I ran to the clinic as soon as I was done. Well not running because I could barely move, but you get my drift! We were greeted immediately with a smile and compassion at the counter. I wish I retrieved her name because she was so kind. I was directed to complete information on a tablet and give my insurance and ID. The waiting room had about 10 patients but some were just company. Now this is the worst I have felt in years so I was cranky, irritable, and just wanted to be seen already. To make my waiting time even better, some jerk face was loudly coughing and talking loudly on his phone. I was able to relax once he was called in. Although it felt like an eternity, we only waited about 30 minutes. I was called in and led to a office/station to check vitals and provide medical history. I was then led to an examination room, which by the way was massive! The PA came in not too long after we arrived. We reviewed my symptoms, to which she believed I did not have COVID-19 and explained the common cold is going around because people are not required to wear masks. The PA said I should be tested anyway for COVID, just in case, and sent in scripts for a zpack, fluticasone (Flonase), and Cetirizine (Zyrtec). A nurse entered the room soon after to do my COVID test. Mind you, this was my 1st COVID test ever and I was super proactive throughout the pandemic. I was all set and left. I checked in with reception and confirmed again my address because I was told they would send me a bill. Again, she was very nice. Soooooo, it turns out I did have COVID but did not find out until 5 days later because the label on my specimen was not identifiable. Not relevant to this review but I was positive for a month but felt like death for 2-3 weeks. I am so grateful for the positive experience I had at MD Now because I really needed a smooth visit. I plan on coming here in the future if I need to. They offer all sorts of services, such as vaccinations, physical exams for employment and school, blood work, etc. read more

Saw Dr Sinisterra and he was completely useless in helping me understand my chest spasms. The front desk has this bigger lady as well who's very unwelcoming and short when speaking. The wait time was over an hr just for me to hear Sinisterra tell me about his own story of working out and supplementation that he's on. Would not recommend going here! read more

You are greeted with "Next". The front desk people need more training or people skills. The pad they have you complete asks for the same information on your license and insurance card. When you don't feel good, you don't want to be trying to learn new technology and typing. The doctor was excellent - Dr. Flicker. Smart, kind, well-mannered and friendly. I spoke to someone named James Stirling and he said there wasn't an X-ray technician working there today. When I asked him if any other locations in the area had X-ray technicians working today, he laughed and said he wasn't Google maps. You have now lost a potential patient. at first i avoided this location due to all the bad reviews... i ended up coming here because the wait time was too long at a different location. i was hesitant but the receptionist was pleasant and she set a good expectation for my visit. luckily, the wait time was about 5 minutes. the nurse(??) (Giny i believe) was so sweet and we had a cute lil conversation about our tattoos. i didn't wait long at all to see the doctor. Dr. Jacinthe was quick but thorough and very nice. we were told the doctors are on rotation between other locations. i'm assuming that's the reason for the bad reviews... the only complaint i have is that it was really hot in there lol other than that, i highly recommend this location. read more

Had a wonderful experience, great location, great staff and being that I was a walk-in I was seen and treated very Fast. Most urgent cares you go to as a walk-in you will be waiting forever but NOT this one! They are very organized and most importantly friendly, caring, and it's like they personally want you to get better. That's VERY HARD TO FIND IN A URGENT CARE! I must say that my initial visit was not all that bad, but the end result was a complete disaster. I went to the Davie location to do a DOT physical to renew my DOT medical card. The hours were quite accommodating which is a plus. I saw Dr. Mota, who clearly, from my visit does not have the required competency to conduct a DOT physical. After finishing his "exam" he "completed" his paper work and I was almost through the door when he caught me saying he made an error. OK.! Then after returning with the "corrected" copy I went through the documents again to find the actual certificate missing. I asked the lady at the front desk who then went back to the "doctor" who told her everything was in order. Only to go to the DMV to update my medical card, to be told that I don't have the medical certificate from the "doctor". I made several calls to MD Now Davie office, to be told they are working to have the issue resolved before the DMV close at 5 pm. This was at approximately 1pm. They were so "kind" to call back at 4:35 pm that day to give me an update. Now bear in mind that it's the 7th of June and I was facing a suspension of my license on June 8th 2023. At around 6:30 pm on the 7th I received another call from someone from "cooperate" apologizing for the inconvenience and stating my issue was rectified. he also mentioned that he would work to have my money refunded in light of the situation. It's now June 2Oth and I have yet to hear from anyone. I would not recommend this location for any DOT related business. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!! read more

Office is dingy and dirty, Examination equipment don't seem to be sterile, just lying around and they pick it up and use it. They try to be professional by calling you sir or mam but what's the points if carrying on like your at a club . I WOULDN'T recommend this business to anyone in needed of medical care !!! read more

If I could give no stars for this place I absolutely would. Upon entering, the woman at the front desk was just absolutely rude. The patient was on the phone with her mom and asking the woman a series of insurance related questions, and the woman continued to be rude and was giving such rude responses to all the questions as if we're just supposed to know the answers ourselves. Then when the patient went inside, the woman was talking about the patient! She went on to say "its my first patient of the day, and this is what I have to deal with" to her coworker who was sitting at the other window. I mean what a terrible, terrible way to be for someone working in a hospital setting where people are coming to you for help. Absolutely horrendous customer service. Will not be returning to this office as its more of a high school environment than an actual urgent care. read more

I went there to get an IV because I was super dehydrated. The doctor could not do her job right. She poked me 4 times and caused me lots of pain. Then gave up. I went through all the pain not even to get an IV. On her last attempt she punctured through the vein and was injecting saline into my muscle. Which was very painful. And she just pulled it out when I told her and did not apologize. Then sent me home. She was rude and did not know how to do her job. I paid $150 for nothing DO NOT GO HERE read more

Get comfortable, cuz ya girl got a story... I had a UTI and blood in my pee, so I went to the urgent care to get antibiotic. They took my urinalysis and sent it off to the labs to get a culture of it to determine what antibiotic it was resistant to, yet gave me an antibiotics for me to take for 7 days. The doctor (or PA) said I would hear back from her in 2-3 days to follow up, and that if there was anything to note (like if the bacteria was resistant), they would change the script. I took the antibiotics like a good patient, and on day 8 (the day after I finished the course), I finally get an email with the lab results saying that the bacteria was resistant to the antibiotics they prescribed me... Had not received a call or anything from them, so on day 9, I went to the ER with the symptoms that reappeared, and they prescribed me a different antibiotics for 10 days. It was a very harsh antibiotic, but I took it, like a good patient would (I'm studying medicine, so I know what a good patient should be). Fast forward a week after I finished my antibiotic, I had to go to the ER AGAIN because of abdominal pin and blood in my stool.... They had to do bloodwork and a CT scan to determine that my intestines were infected/inflamed from all of the antibiotics I was taking, so they have to IV 2 types of antibiotics and I'm currently on another antibiotic for 10 days.... On the plus side, those harsh antibiotics that the ER gave me fixed their mistake, but at the cost of my intestines getting infected/inflamed. all in all, this *literally* would not have happened if they had caught the fact that the bacteria was resistant to the antibiotic, and changed me from it sooner. The first time I went to the ER, I told them how the Urgent care gave me "Antibiotic X" (I won't say which one they gave me) and the PA looked at me surprised because a lot of bacterias are resistant to it here in south Florida. I went to Urgent care because "Urgent cares can handle some emergencies too!" and "I can save money compared to paying for an ER trip" but I had *2* ER trips because of their mistake, so Forget them. read more

Terrible. Not even sure what the name of the doctor was because he didn't introduce himself. I came in because I was cleaning out my ear a couple hours prior with q-tips and either pushed wax in to block my canal fully or some of the cotton got stuck in there to block the canal. My ear didn't hurt or anything, it was just blocked to the point that I couldn't hear. I decided to go to urgent care and not mess with it and when the white male doctor in his 50-60s came in the room he shoved the ear probe in my ear to look (which I would've figured he would shine a light from outside my ear to look inside first to make sure to not push whatever was in there in further) and looked for about 2 seconds before telling me it was only inflamed. However, once he shoved the ear piece into my ear I could hear again so that does not match up with his explanation of inflammation. After he quickly gave me the diagnosis he prescribed antibiotics and never came back. I had to request to talk to him again and he seemed aggravated. I told him that I could hear again once he shoved the ear piece in my ear and that antibiotics doesn't seem to be the route I need to take but I was quickly dismissed. I had my mom on the phone who requested to talk to him further about having an irrigation done instead but he sat on a chair scrolling through his phone shaking his head "no" when I asked and said " I don't talk on the phone". That was the entire experience. I will never go back. Whatever that doctor's name is should be fired for wasting my time and money and possibly causing me further problems. read more
