    a crack in the ceiling
    J.D. R.

I hate writing negative reviews more than anything, but this one had to be written. I had a 60" bathroom top piece of granite fabricated and installed in my daughters bathroom, with bowl Tuesday 11/17 at approx 3-4pm. My daughters room is being repainted so she's not using it or the bathroom. On Thursday at approx 6pm I went up to her bathroom to install her faucet which is the responsibility of the homeowner, and noticed that the granite was cracked, directly in the middle of the bowl cut, the weakest part of the granite. I didn't notice it at the time of installation because I didn't know to look for 'broken/cracked' granite. They finished, I walked in there, it looked real good and I paid the final invoice and was happy. I called Elite at 8:50am Friday 11/20 to notify them of the crack and was completely shocked by their response. I don't know for certain who I spoke with, but I had previously spoken with the owner in the store, and I strongly suspect I was speaking with him again today on the phone, because he was projecting authority that I wouldn't expect from an employee. He was down right rude, irritated and out&out argumentative. He said to me, and I quote, "how do i know you didn't lay down on the granite and crack it", I was beyond words. Then he went on to say, "My guys wouldn't have installed cracked granite, you've had it for 2 days". I continued to ask him how he thought I'd have cracked the granite, which is installed on the vanity and attached to the walls. I asked him if he thought I took the granite out myself and cracked it for some reason, to which he continued his total and complete deflecting of responsibility and continued to project blame on me. I asked him to come out and take a look for himself and he said "I'm not coming to your house, come pick out another piece of granite and I'll remake it", which is all I was expecting initially, but it would have been nice and professional to keep all the rude, snarky attitude out of the conversation. I'll attach several images for you to judge for yourself. It's really a shame actually, we like to shop and do business with local companies, and this was the first top in our house remodel which was going to be a total order of 3 additional bathroom tops and an entire kitchen + Island. I'll update my review at a later date and let y'all know how this turned out in the end. ** UPDATE ** I decided not to go back and let them cut a new vanity top after the phone experience I had, I was done. I was contacted by them several days after the experience by a super nice & friendly woman at the company asking me if I was coming in I told her no and explained why. She then called me back again, later and told me they were refunding me 1/2 the price paid for the vanity top. I wasn't looking for any money off or anything for free, but to be fair, they did take steps to right their wrong. I have increased +1 star because of the attempt, but it didn't have to be like this.

    A great selection of granite

A great selection of granite, marble and tile for all of your counter top needs. Not open on the weekends but you are able to swing by and take a look at some of the granite they have in the yard. There is something here for every one.

BEC Innovations had my previous review removed from Yelp, so I am amending to reflect the…read moreguidelines. I would not recommend hiring BEC if you care about your neighbors. This company is a menace to the neighborhoods they work in. In 2024, BEC purchased and flipped the house next door to mine, and thus began one of the worst months-long experiences I've had in the home I've lived in for over a decade. The crews they contracted to work on their property were rude and inconsiderate, leaving their beer cans in my yard on more than one occasion, blocking our small residential street on both sides (making it difficult for me to leave my own driveway), and consistently working outside of the hours permitted by the local noise ordinance (causing a disturbance to me personally, who again lives right next door to this house). After one particularly frustrating incident where they parked their truck in their front yard and shined its high beams directly into MY living room window for over an hour, I called the BEC office and spoke with someone on the phone about these issues. They were apologetic and relayed the info to the site's project manager, who came out to speak to me directly. She even bought us pizza as a peace offering, which I appreciated and accepted in the hopes this would be the last of our problems. But then a week later, I came home from work in the middle of the day and found BEC's crew had run an extension cord from MY home's outside outlet to their power tools without my permission. I immediately called the PM, who did apologize again, but it was never resolved and nothing else happened as they wrapped construction the same week. I went back to compare my electricity bills over the last several years and found that my energy usage spiked for months with no other explanation, which means the utility theft was likely more than a one-off by a rogue crew member. Whether BEC directly knew or not, they should have better control of the crews they hire. Yelp's email alerting me that my review had been taken down stated "We typically remove reviews that don't focus on the reviewer's firsthand experiences as a customer of the business." So let me be very clear - this business stole from me personally, using my utilities without permission, and left their trash on my property. I am relaying my firsthand experience with their poor management and unethical business practices. If BEC continues to try taking down my honest review, I will only become more steadfast in my commitment in warning people against using this company.

It was a nightmare of experience. They looked and were incompetent. They put paper towels underneath the countertops to cover the spots where the caulk is supposed to be in my kitchen. They didn't caulk any sinks. They cut the countertops so crappy that they had to remeasure 3 times. They box cut the cabinets, cut it unevenly. My contractor had to adjust the master bedroom sinks because how they cut the countertops. They are very rude especially Roy. He stalks you so don't ever give him your number. He called me 5 times in a row before. He's a scammer as far as l'm concerned. I had to block him. He called my mom at work when he knows she's at work. He got in a screaming match with my sister. Also don't pay them until you're satisfied no matter how much they nag you for payment. They were cutting on site got a lot of dust, particles and counter parts by my contractors truck without apologizing. After the project was done Juan the boss said "your cabinets look shitty" They always blame others even the customers. Since there's zero accountability as harsh as I sound DON't USE THEM!

Yes, the owner is aware. No, nothing was resolved. Having now worked with other provides, HTD may be cheaper, but what I'm now getting in results is worth the extra money!! Additionally what I have learned through this experience with HTD is to be sure to get in writing and discuss with any service provider how they will handle any issues that do arise once they leave your property. Errors do not tend to get noticed right away and you'll need to feel confident a provider will assist if something does happen. As well, be sure there is a project manager who is on your job consistently and communicates timelines and expectations well. Shout out to the HTD employees who do the actual labor .. they are hard workers!

I hope I can find the words to fully express how overjoyed I am with my new kitchen and floor plan…read morethat 3 Day Kitchen and Bath - Nashville designed and built. My objective was to open up a cave-like kitchen lacking natural light and allow flow into the adjacent rooms by removing and/or lowering walls. I just had no idea how. Within days of my initial consultation with architect Greg Mayo, the owner of 3 Day - Nashville, I was provided with a detailed floor plan and renderings of the finished kitchen. What he presented exceeded my expectations of what I thought possible, it was not anything I could have thought of myself. The job was scheduled for just over a month out, then Greg and I had a second consultation to choose countertops, cabinets (style and color), cabinet hardware, sink style, and faucet. I was given an allotment to select backsplash tile. The project started as first calendared and five days later it was completed! The organization and coordination that Greg must have done and to get the reliable, hardworking and trustworthy (not to mention genuinely nice) crew he did is truly remarkable. If you have ever done a project before, you know you cannot complete "C" before "A" and "B" are done and "B" is an electrician job while "A" is a plumbing job. The coordination of professionals was a feat in of itself. Greg was on site every day checking on progress and chipping in with the work. I'd like to add that I asked quite a lot of Greg during the lead up. I was a pest. I asked him many times about different countertops which resulted in him making calls to suppliers and fabricators. He also did some detective work tracking down a tile that wanted to incorporate into the kitchen. He never failed to promptly and professionally respond to my inquiries. I am very grateful for Greg's vision, experience, and professionalism. I am so happy with my kitchen and open floor plan! Note: This job was five days given the amount of actual construction (e.g., removing walls, adding support beams to attic, adding drywall to ceiling in kitchen and the adjacent and now connected rooms) was achieved in that short period is incredible.

We used Builder Supply Source for our cabinets in a kitchen renovation project we just finished,…read moreand the cabinets turned out great. More than that? The cabinets we ended up with are extra custom. We wanted a more modern kitchen than I expect is very common in Nashville (several cabinetry companies our contractor typically works with could only give us Shaker cabinets, which isn't what we wanted), but Builder Supply Source had flat panel cabinets, which is the modern look we wanted. When they didn't have the exact stain color we wanted, they worked with us to create some samples based on some Pinterest/Houzz pictures I sent over. A few days after I sent the photos over, we had four samples at our house. We really liked three of them, narrowed it down to two, and finally picked one. I really appreciated that they were willing to work with us to get the color just right! We had a few little issues (one small panel of wood came slightly scratched up), but Builder Supply Source took care of everything. We worked with Will, who was great from our first meeting with him (we were in his office for about an hour talking about options and coming up with the best cabinet layout). And - at the end of the project - we're just in love with our cabinets (as well as with the hardware we ordered through Builder Supply Source). They were great to work with and the final product is exactly what we wanted. I don't think we would have ended up with the kitchen we had in our minds if it weren't for Builder Supply Source!
