I was looking for a quote for 4 cars I own. I drove to there office dropped off all my information and then spoke to someone on the phone who said they would get back to me shortly. 4 days later no call so I called them back and again was told I will get right back too you. 2 more days and nothing. Don't let the Dave Ramsey local provider make you you think they must be great that isn't always the truth. If it is thus hard to get a quote what would it be like if you have a claim. I found this person through the Dave Ramsey network. Got a quote, everything looked good, and i proceeded with the insurance. Approx a few weeks after, i get a letter from the insurance company saying my premiums were going up. What?!?!?! I had only been with them for a few weeks. Turns out the agent screwed up and the basement square footage wasn't properly accounted for even though i had asked about that previously. As a result, my premium went up 4.5%. Looking over the change, part of that 4.5% went right into the agents pocket. That didn't sit well with me. I felt like this was some bait and switch. On top of that, he just tried to brush it off saying it wasn't much money. Well if it isn't much money, you pay for it! Its the damn principle of the thing. He apologized, and sent me a Amazon gift card for the error. I never claimed it because i didn't want it. I proceeded to switch insurance companies and he promptly cancelled the gift card. I guess he wasn't that sorry for the mistake :P - not that i cared because i didn't want it but it goes to show you his character. Ended up going with another company and getting better pricing so it all worked out in the end, i just hate having my time wasted. read more
