Signed contract 06/06/2023 for a monthly payment of $296.02 for 35 months and 36 month $295.92. Elite Legal Practice was supposed to represent me with two credit cards I needed help with due to lack of work during covid so credit cards racked up and I couldn't stay a float. For the last 3 years I have emailed and called to constantly be told they're still working on everything and it's going smoothly. I was told back in January by Taylor via email that everything was being handled properly and the credit card companies had 30-45 days to respond well here it is June and no one has reached out to me so I decided to once again email two weeks ago and call last week and check on things to find out that I have a judgement against me that was never sent to me! Also to find out that the lawyer representing me stated he would be present but did not show. This law firm is a disaster they have made everything worse for me and constantly keep giving me the run around. I would not trust them and I certainly do not recommend them because I even reached out on 06.11 and 06.12 and someone was supposed to return my call to explain to me what will happen next and to discuss a refund and of course no one has called. DO NOT WASTE your money on them they are a joke! I am hoping to atleast receive half of my money back if not all for the poor job they've done representing me and now causing me to owe more money. Title: Misled, mistreated, and now worse off -- avoid this firm I signed up with Elite Legal Practice PC for debt consolidation and paid them consistently for over a year. Then one day, I get aggressive banging on my door -- terrifying my entire household -- only to find out I'm being sued by one of my creditors. ELP never disclosed that I could still be sued, nor that the money I was paying them wasn't going toward my actual debt but toward legal fees. What legal work, exactly? Because nothing has been done. My credit score has plummeted since joining their program. None of my debts have been reduced or managed. This firm has done nothing but take my money and leave me worse off. They promised me my credit score would recover in a year or so. What a LIE! After months of trying to reach their managing attorney, Timothy Thomas, he finally promised that the amount I now owe the creditor suing me would be deducted from what I pay ELP. THAT PROMISE WAS BROKEN. They lowered my payment slightly -- but not enough. With all the telemarking phone and scam phone calls you get daily its very scary to actual trust the person calling you. I recieved a call from a very polite and professional man asking me if i needed help getting out of debt. Well I'm so over my head in credit card debt I decided to hear him out. He was able to consalidate all my debt and come up with a realistic option to actally get myself out of this hole. It took a some time because I'm in debt becasue I don't have the money to pay in full but Elite Legal Practice changed my life and helped me navigate through a very stressful time in my life. I fell into this con because ELP lead me to believe that the money I was paying them would go to pay off the debt I assigned to them. After paying them for 9 months I received court papers from 1 of my debtors for collection of the debt. When I notified ELP of this information they assigned a lawyer and I had to go to court. ELP also told me that I would have to pay the bill and continue paying them the monthly payment. This has caused me to file bankruptcy losing everything I had acquired over the years. Please consider other options before you even consider doing business with ELP. One option I can recommend is a true debt relief company that actually negotiates your debt and makes the payments from the funds you pay them. There are several out there. Ask questions when you call them. It may take a couple of years to get the debt paid but it will be better than losing everything you work for. Bankruptcy is a last resort. I didn't get that choice because I trusted ELP for too long there was no other recovery for me. I hopes this helps you make your decision and good luck with any decision you make. D. They lie. They mis lead they will ruin any credit you do have. Stay away from these scammers. They are crooks taking advantage of people in financial trouble And will make your situation worse. You will regret signing up with them. I have requested a refund and they claim none is due because of work performed. they did nothing but get me sued and force me into settlements I could have done myself. bbb FTC and bad reviews are all coming your way Elite. legal action and possible class action laws suit will be pursed as well. SCAM. There's no other way to put it. Very disappointed with Elite. They promise to offer "legal services" to wipe out your debt. Not only will this not happen, but your credit score will drop 200 points & you will get sued by creditors. And, when Elite said Tim Thomas (managing attorney of ELP) would reach out today at 11, he didn't even call to resolve the matter and the email Elite gave me for him is bouncing back. UPDATE: I already have called your practice and NO ONE has responded. I emailed Tim Thomas today, and have had NO response. I emailed Taylor (Long - I think?), NO response. I responded to a debt consolidation loan I received in the mail. I called the company to apply for the loan and was told I didn't qualify at this time but they said they were able to offer me a program that will take care of my loans and credit cards. I didn't completely understand and 4 days later I called and canceled. 30 days later, still no refund!!!! I've spoken to numerous people who have promised to push the paperwork to get my money returned, NOTHING! Steer clear of this company! read more

Total SCAM. Signed up with Elite Legal Practice 18 months ago. At first they told me if sign I sign up and I will save 12 grand on 30 grand debt by just paying 400ish amount to them to settle the debt. once I agreed they turned the bait and switch that saying 400 is going to be only for their service on the contract and not a penny goes towards paying debt. They told me not pay my credit cards so I will be late on payments and the credits goes to collections and the collections agencies started suing, showing with summons at my door. During this time this company just waited till I get sued. Once I was sued the credit companies were asking for original money + late fees+ penalties + court fees which is usually between 30 to 50 percentage increases on original debt. At this time this ELP outsourced to hire a lawyer to negotiate this amount and usually if I would get lucky I would be paying the original amount I owned them. And this ELP would negotiate for me not pay the extra fees and bragging about saving me money. So basically just making you circling around your self so they can benefit their third party attorney and charge you stupid exorbitant money for just sitting in the office and do nothing till you get sued. In my case, I ended up paying not only more than what I was paying towards my debt before hiring ELP but also ELP made me to pay for their monthly services. SCAM company. Please avoid. I started with a 720 credit score. They told me not to pay my debts. Now my score is 500. I was told my credit debt would be wiped away but now creditors are suing me. I've been paying this company over $400 a month & now since I'm being sued I will owe even more than I did when I signed up here.
