She checked their availability, mind you; it was a last-minute appointment, so I was desperate. I texted the appointment address and she responded within 30 min that it was ok. I confirmed the appointment the day before. The driver, Bo, arrived on time despite it being trash truck day. The streets were full of Sanitation trucks Bo was a very friendly, outgoing, personable guy who loved to talk. No one is a stranger. He was gentle with my dad as far as assisting with getting him from the bed to the wheelchair. He got him in the van securely and arrived on time for the appointment. We were done within an hour. I texted the company number and lo and behold he was already sitting outside waiting for us The drive was roughly 45 min but it seemed like 10 min bc Bo talked as though we had known him for 30 years. I have called to schedule additional pickups as there are 4 appointments next month. If we could get on their books, we would be most appreciative. The care of the driver and front office is top-tier. A driver driving in 3D medical transport van realized that the heavy motorized wheelchair her patient was in was malfunctioning. She took the extra awesome job on of pushing this patient in her chair all the way to the elevator and then to her correct floor and on to the Doctor's office. Abel gave me a quote and got me scheduled five minutes into a single phone call. He called again the Friday before my Monday appointment to confirm. Then Mark showed up at my house a few minutes early and was good company the whole way to Emory Midtown. He gave me his business card so hospital staff could call him when I was ready to be released.
