I've been a loyal customer at Elite Nails since June 2024, visiting every six weeks for mani-pedis. Initially, I was happy with my choice--the pedicures were relaxing, and the manicures were decent, though cuticle care could use improvement. Unfortunately, my recent experience on 12/28 has completely soured my opinion of this salon. Despite calling ahead for a 1:45 PM appointment, I wasn't seated until 2:00, and no one started my nails until 2:20. While I understand delays can happen, the lack of transparency was frustrating, especially since the male nail tech (chair #3) disappeared for a significant amount of time. I asked for a soft milky white color (similar to OPI's Funny Bunny) and showed a picture of a simple French design with a soft white base and white tips. Instead of working to accommodate my request, the staff turned my choice into an ordeal. There was constant chatter in their native language, paired with giggles and obvious side glances that made it clear I was being gossiped about. They seemed confused by "milky white" and instead of trying to clarify, the entire situation felt unnecessarily tense. When the male tech finally started, it went downhill fast. He used white dip powder but failed to remove the previous dip layer fully, leaving streaks and uneven patches. Then, he used a *metal* tip on the Dremel to smooth and buff the dip--a completely inappropriate tool for the job. Not only did it leave harsh streaks, but it burned my thumb cuticle so badly that it bled. I've been getting my nails done for 15+ years, and I've never experienced pain like that. The tech tried to cover the poor dip application with shellac, but it only emphasized the streaks and bare patches. My nails looked like a complete mess. By 3:00 PM, I'd had enough and asked to stop the service. The tech did not speak English, so the owners got involved. I calmly explained the issue was about *quality*--not the color--but instead of taking accountability, the owners kept pushing more "fixes." The male owner, though polite, suggested applying a full-coverage white polish to mask the issues. Desperate for something halfway decent, I agreed. The female owner took over, but her attitude was anything but professional. She was dismissive, rude, and pushy, insisting on filing my nails further even though I'd already been burned by the Dremel. When curing the polish, she forcibly shoved my hand into the light, causing the wet polish to smudge against the edges. It felt deliberate, as though she wanted to make sure I left even more dissatisfied. Despite everything, I wasn't charged for the service, but the final product still wasn't worth the time, stress, and pain I endured. On top of that, I didn't even leave with the result I was expecting and will now have to visit another salon to have the work redone properly. As you can see from the attached photos, the final result was sloppy, streaky, and an absolute disappointment. This isn't the first time Elite Nails has been pushy about their services. From the beginning, they've insisted on combining dip and shellac (claiming it's better for the nails) while cutting corners like skipping acetone removal and using the wrong tools. They push unwanted services and still expect top dollar and a tip, regardless of the quality of work. If you do visit, I recommend the tech in chair #8 (from Atlanta), who is friendly, speaks English, and does excellent work. But overall, this salon's lack of respect for their customers and inability to deliver quality service has made it clear I'll never return. Proceed with caution. read more

It does not feel like you're in the Midwest getting a mani and pedi. Hand on a Bible this is the best nail place I have been to and I almost exclusively get my mania and pedis in Miami, FL. I went into elite nails and was sat at desk number eight he had asked me what nails and what wanted I showed him the length and he made sure that the length I wanted was on the nail, then proceeded to cut it much shorter than what I wanted I feel as though he did not listen to anything I had told him and was free styling what length wanted. And you can tell. He seemed upset by my requests. read more

I love it here, they are always so friendly and take such good care of me. I love Julie especially, she always is so gentle and sweet. I recommend all my friends here and we always have such a beautiful set of nails after. Very expensive and appointments don't come first you wait just like everyone else . I had an appointment I waited over an hour I finally left taking off my own nails. They charge for everything. $65 for a basic pedicures a little Outrageous to me so $85 for a manicure no polish and a basic pedicure with gel. SMH never again read more

My experience here was okay but not terrible. I got a deluxe pedicure ($35) and it did feel good. My friend & I both got deluxe pedicures. At one point while she was massaging my legs she started hitting my legs which the other person did not do to my friend. It was slightly confusing and it actually scares me when it happened. Also at the end of my pedicure while I was sitting there it felt like the bottom of my chair broke because there was a loud snap and it went down a little bit. (By no means am I heavy person??) I was in town for another appointment and they got me in for a pedicure with no issues. The receptionist was very welcoming and the salon was clean. Though I only selected the level one pedicure, the technician took her time to really clean up my nails and did an excellent paint job. I highly recommend this salon! read more

On June 25th at 4:30pm, this business DENIED a woman with disabilities to get her nails done. She had an appointment, but when a lady worker saw her, she said she can't do her nails and offered to do the staff's nails. When the staff tried asking again, she was laughed at and denied service. This woman LOVES getting her nails done and the staff was there to help if it was needed. This is discrimination and will be reported to the BBB! Shame on you Elite Nails! read more

I wouldn't recommend this establishment to my work enemy. After my first visit, I developed "greenies" under several of my acrylic nails. This is usually from unsanitary tools and water getting under the acrylic between it and the nail plate. The tools used at this nail "salon" are absolutely filthy. I brought my own tools both times I went, but did not bring my own drill bits. A year later, I desperately needed a fill while it town, so I mistakenly tried Elite again. Big mistake- huge. The man who did my nails was absolutely rude. He did NOT want to work on my long acrylic nails, and made it very apparent. His filing was horrific and drilled too deeply on my natural nails. My nails were all different lengths by the time he was "finished." I mean, these were the worst set of nails I have EVER had done. I refused to tmlet his top coat, pointed out how dodgy the filing was, and he had nothing to say. I paid for my garbage service and went to a different salon to have the service corrected. AVOID THIS disgusting, unsanitary environment. read more

I came here looking for a great experience and left with the worst. my husband and I recently moved from the south (Air Force) I came in with a full set and asked them to be removed and for a new gel set, the whole time disregarding my request I had 2 different women doing my nails. Not to mention a very rude heavier set woman doing them had terrible body odor and bad breath and PUT A NEW SET ON TOP of the old set that had already been on for over a month WHICH I informed her upon arrival. I strictly came in to have the old set removed Bc by now the virus had just serviced the news and they were the only nail salon open at the time. She never let me wash my hands and she even ran out of polish on the first 2 nails and coated them 6 times never filed them, but could still see through with streaks. Didn't clip my nails and they were as long as my acrylics. They are also all uneven and different shapes. Some are coffin some are oval. I am having a hard time understanding how this many things could go wrong in this one nail experience. I am having to have them removed by a doctor at the emergency room Bc I received a infection due to your unclean and unprofessional customer service. Will be posting pictures on Facebook and getting notice from the public there is no other excuse for this poor treatment this woman should lose her license. What's sad is the owner was so sweet to me and she started my nails but asked this young lady to take over and that's where things went bad. She was much too worried about her phone and videos than my nails and wants. My nails may never be the same after this experience again. Because you had to rush through my nails, you caused my real nails to grow in with the other 2 sets you applied do you not understand you are working in a nail salon an you could cause someone to lose a finger due to an infection Bc of your laziness? i went yesterday to get a gel fill and the guy did not drill down my nails at all. they were very lumpy and the gel polish got everywhere. my nails were all uneven lengths (after i asked for no length to be taken off) and my cuticles were a mess. i called back and the lady said she would fix them for free and i was very grateful. she removed all the gel and filed the nails smooth but she took off even more length and i was very upset because i like my nails very long. i won't be going here again. read more
