I've worked with many agents and currently carry multiple policies, so I value clear communication and a client-focused approach. There are plenty of agents out there, and I prefer to work with someone who is willing to listen and act in my best interest. He insisted on insuring the property at $300 per square foot, stating that this reflects the replacement cost. However, there are different construction grades and valuation approaches that can be considered, which could reasonably bring that number closer to $250 per square foot depending on assumptions. Given the interaction, I don't feel comfortable moving forward. I'm looking for an agent who is collaborative, open to discussion, and focused on finding the best solution for the client.
