However, there are different construction grades and valuation approaches that can be considered, which could reasonably bring that number closer to $250 per square foot depending on assumptions. Given the interaction, I don't feel comfortable moving forward. I'm looking for an agent who is collaborative, open to discussion, and focused on finding the best solution for the client.

I called MAIB and spoke to the owner/Agent Mark Annis ,he was close to home and I got a great quote for her. What I did not know, that he put a 800.00 broker fee on top of her premium and added an additional $53.00 to her monthly payment. He never disclosed this to me. My friend went in to sign paperwork alone .( Mind you she just lost her husband three days prior) I expressed this to him on the phone that she is financially challenged at the moment right now. He had her sign a broker fee letter and applied 800.00 and disbursed it into her monthly payments!! she had know idea!!!
