Was desperately hoping my surgery would eliminate my back and radiating nerve pain. Surgeon was in…read morenetwork but hospital was not. Practice billing could have filed a form as they are the only practice performing the surgery in a few hundred mile radius but they gave a lame excuse as to why they couldn't be bothered. So a couple thousand more out of my pocket on top of an already expensive procedure. That was the icing on the cake as the surgery was only partially successful. Follow-up care was lacking in that I returned several times over the recovery period and literally got no additional help and was just told to come back next month. Never saw the surgeon again only the PA. 9 months later a follow-up MRI listed my condition changed from severe to moderate so with pain meds I'm still barely functioning and still/back in PT a year afterward.

Making appointments was extremely frustrating, and painful and expensive tests were made for a procedure that didn't happen because they were unwilling to schedule it before my scheduled trip, even though they had 3 months' notice. And if they weren't going to do it, then they shouldn't have made me undergo the preparatory procedure. Front desk people were repeatedly rude and unhelpful. So sorry I ever let them do anything to me. I could have saved a lot of money, frustration, and pain.

NO DOCTOR SHOULD ABANDON THEIR PATIENTS WITH NO NOTICE! I was not sent to another Physician for care, I was just dumped. She moved out of State suddenly? Apparently so. It was laying out on the table but then she tells me she's probably not going to do it because you're not having chest pains . The medication I'm on can kill me I am supposed to be getting it done. I have been going out to Darien until I lost the doctor out there after losing the doctor at Shoppers way that I really liked . The constant changing of doctors is a problem . Because that was her response this is a different doctor she doesn't know you that is what notes are for did you even check Darien's notes!? If a patient want something done why can't you just do it if it can be done. I will not be back there . I will be finding a doctor that I can see every time I go same doctor . When I called the office, I was immediately told that the doctor does not prescribe pain medication. Ummm... ok... I wasn't in pain and told them I didn't need pain management. My information was taken over the phone and I was told I would receive a call after the doctor had reviewed my data. After 10 days with no response, I called the office back, thinking I likely fell through the cracks. Nope--at that point I was told she has lots of potential patients that she needs to review and that I was on the "waiting list". It would appear that she will accept a new patient only after a current one dies!!! In the meantime, I have wasted over 2 full months!!! If the office was up front with me in the first place, that they were NOT accepting new patients, I would have already found a new doctor. But now I get to start the search all over again. Sigh. Bad business practice!
