From day 1, they have been treating patients and have added a second Doctor (Dr Amy Lewis) and have built out a physical therapy area as well. The office staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the massage techs there (which they DO accept insurance for massages) are all great, and Dr Miller is an amazing chiropractor. I came in to Elite Chiropractor after two weeks of horrible lower back pain. Nothing worked on my back...I tried stretching, a massage, and yoga. Nothing would make the pain go away. I had a bad experience with a previous chiropractor and I hadn't seen a chiropractor in 4 years. I know it works, but I just needed to find the right doctor. Dr. Olivares did a great job of listening to where my pain was and also to possibly pinpoint what caused it. After that he tested my range of motion and muscle strength. He then completed an adjustment. It felt great being back at the chiropractor and being in capable hands. My session ended with electrotherapy. This is always relaxing and a great way to end an exam. For the past 4 years, Dr. Miller and his team have kept me mobile and mostly pain-free, despite my degenerating back problems. Dr. Miller also has helped bring relief to my husband, who often deals with side-effects from his very physical job. This is not your typical chiropractic environment. So many chiropractors fall into scamming you for expensive testing before treating you (often delaying your relief), "upselling" you on contraptions/vitamins, or generally being weird by "adjusting your aura" or other off-the-beaten-path, unproven treatments. This is NOT the case with Dr. Miller! He is practical, friendly and funny, and will refer you to more "traditional" doctors if your care is outside his purview. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The approach is not to price gouge you while you are in pain, but to charge very reasonably and to work with your insurance in most cases, if you are covered. After being scammed by Hoogeveen Health Center in Frisco (not afraid to name drop, as it was of those let's take all of your money up front, promise you things, then try to charge you more after we have your money), I came in to Elite Performance Chiropractic seeking help, relief, and hopes of not being burned again. I was brought back to Dr. Millers office where for once in my life a Chiropractor actually gave a shit to know what was really going on and what I was experiencing that was causing me such discomfort. He proceeded with adjusting me throughly, treating my symptoms directly, gave me the immediate relief I needed, and put me back on the road to recovery. The atmosphere here is super amazing, and there is literally nothing you can say negative about Dr. Miller and his practice. I have had chiropractic care for many years, as I have been in a few car accidents and have found chiropractic care effective in helping with pain management and general wellness. While I feel both of these chiropractors have nice bedside manners and all the latest and greatest gadgets, as well as a nice facility and staff, they lack the gentle, intuitive and holistic treatment I am accustom too.
