Monday morning after thanksgiving I called Elliot hoping to get an appointment. I'm not sure if they heard the desperation in my voice or if that's how they run their practice, but they were able to get me in immediately. And I mean immediately! Like I called at 9something and they got me in for 10am! I got to my appointment with Julie with weakness and numbness in my right leg. I felt better right away and have been getting stronger everyday and have no pain! I had an emergency with my dog and had to cancel my appointment for yesterday. Emily (one of the girls from the front desk I think) called me today to check on me and my dog! After one of the worst days of my life yesterday, it was so nice to hear from Emily. I'm a very active person and being practically immobile wasn't going to cut it. My midwife suggested this place and I was glad to find a location minutes from my home. I started my therapy sessions with Kayla Whiting and she made such a difference for me. She was kind and professional and really understood the pain I was having so she was able to give me a solid treatment plan. I left a few sessions sore due to stretching and exercises but icing was always recommended and helped. The day after I'd always feel so much better. After a few sessions, my pain was almost completely eliminated. I could walk without pain again. Amazing! And I never needed any pain medicine. The sessions of heat, massage, stretching, and exercises (combined with my own daily stretching exercises at home prescribed by them) made the end of my pregnancy a breeze and will most certainly help me postpartum. I am so grateful for this place because they really understood exactly what I was going through. I went from not being able to walk without limping or get out of bed to speed-walking with ease and rolling out of bed like a champ. I could even carry my laundry basket down the stairs again and clean on all fours (though my husband still does not like that I do this lol). They are professional yet personable and I worked with a few other PT's there to make scheduling appointments easier. Overall, the advice, tips, and treatment have been very successful for me. I saw Brent more often, and he always took the time to listen to my concerns and make sure they were addressed. He taught me stretches and exercises, carefully making sure I was doing them correctly. He knew when to advance my exercises, so I built up my strength. His dedication to helping me recover was outstanding. Julie was just as wonderful. She listened carefully and always found the right stretches or exercises to help with whatever I was experiencing. She would work on my muscle knots until I felt relief. She was caring, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in my progress. I'm so grateful for the care and support they both provided throughout my recovery.
