this might be a bit lengthy. I travelled from Ontario Canada to be with my son in Mississippi…read morewhere he goes to school on a baseball scholarship. Unfortunately, I had a lot of issues go on at the airport and was unable to get my rental vehicle that I paid for. The purpose of my trip was my son was getting elbow surgery. I'll start off by saying that Dr. McCraney was incredible and I was very happy with the staff team. But being in Flowood, Mississippi was not easy without a vehicle and following my son's surgery. I needed to get to a pharmacy to get my son's post surgery prescriptions filled. After his surgery every Uber and taxi company I contacted was either more than a 30 minute wait or $70 because they were out of the area. The reason for my lengthy message is I want to acknowledge two nurses, Beth and Carrie. When I think of southern hospitality, I will always think of these two incredible individuals. Even after a long day at work after my Sons surgery, and aware of our situation, they drove my son and I to two different pharmacies. Beth even came into the pharmacy with me to help me out with the prescription while Carrie tended to my son who was still coming off of anaesthetic. Once our prescription was filled, these ladies dropped my son and I off to our hotel. No reward, no money, just plain kindness to my son, and I who would have been stuck paying and waiting for transportation. I wish there was more we could do to repay Beth and Carrie for their kindness. But I at least wanted to take the time to write a review about the kindness I experienced at capital ortho. And certainly a reminder that humanity still has hope. I'll always remember the date when two nurses drove all around Flowood, Mississippi for two Canadians stuck in the middle of nowhere. God bless both of them.

Of all the surgeries I've ever had, the hip replacement surgery was the best. it's hard to imagine that you can get the biggest joint in your body replaced and be up walking around afterwards. The first 2-3 weeks was the only downside, if you can call it that, it's more about impatience to get back driving etc. I'd let him operate on me any day of the week. Highly recommend.

Let me start off by saying that the customer service was very nice while I was setting up my appointment there but that's where the niceties and politeness stopped. Once I was at the appointment date and time set up by them the complete nightmare began. They had no record of an appointment for me scheduled that day and even after I told them I who I spoke to and let them listen to a voicemail left by them, they still had me waiting 2 hours in the waiting room. Next after I was introduced to someone referring to themselves as a doctor, I find out he's not a doctor at all but just a nurse practitioner, which is illegal to call yourself a doctor if you're not, but that's not all, after telling this person my reason for the visit and that I did not require or want him to treat me or prescribe any kind of medication Nurse Hamil took it upon himself to call me a liar and a junkie, he had none of my medical records transferred to their place yet from my previous doctor and would not stop calling me a liar about everything he asked me, at this point I was in shock, I am a WorkComp injured worker and I have no choice but to follow all doctors orders and everything I was telling him was exactly what was in my medical records, even still after him and I finished yelling at each other he still calls me a liar. At one point he leaves the room and tries to get someone else to come call me a liar but by that time I was ready to go. I was injured on the job 2 years ago and have had 3 back surgeries and numerous other procedures that required myself to be put to sleep for and this place had the nerve to question my integrity because I went to my appointment knowing exactly what I needed and what treatment I required, by the way this was just supposed to be a appointment for pain management referral. This place is an absolute waste of time, the most inappropriate and unprofessional place I've ever been to, if you want fair and honest doctors treating yourself and your family DO NOT USE THIS PLACE, AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS
