I ABSOLUTELY DONT RECOMMEND WORKKNG WITH ELITE STAFFING.. im a single father of 3 and they gave me the run around for a while week told me I was going to work for $15 and it was actually twelve then when I asked then when they were going to tell me how much I was getting paid the heavy set light-skinned told me to I can't go to the job so I woke all my girls up and went up there wasting gas and time when they could've just been honest from the jump the chubby guy looked me in my face and told me he didn't lie. Extremely unprofessional. I wouldn't suggest working for them unless you're below rock bottom they will not help you and there Christian esthetic is fake asf. so I worked for this company it wasn't bad at first but then I started to see some kind of pattern where you get fired for some reason that they will not explain, i started to work at a deferent job not related to this place, i call back for a couple days asking if they have any work that they have I'm told that they have an opening for $12 an hour i tell them I need something that pays more to pay my bills, soon after I'm told that they do not have any work for me what so ever, customer service is good and bad, good part is that they talk to you with respect but bad is they force you onto a job that only temporary they say it could be permanent if they like you, if you plan on starting your work here I would advise you to not! read more

I'd to give thanks to Elite for sucking major ass! For context, i'm a dad who had just recently lost his job and had no way of providing an income for my wife and my children. Got in touch with Elite and they promised a job next day, which they did do but left out some MAJOR points. They'll never tell you where you're going, they have a site that they send every person with every "specialty" and won't tell you where you're going until you get up at the ass crack of dawn and report to their office. You literally have to PAY for equipment and then just get told to show up and then hand you a piece of paper that has the job location on it. What kind of agency makes their employees pay for equipment? What kind of "recruiting" agency doesn't tell their employees where they'll be working until they show up? They make it seem like you're renting equipment but, if they truly cared they'd send you to a job site that had all those things for you already. I never got told where I was going, just what the pay was. Sent me to a job site over an hour from home and when I got there, got immediately treated like shit and thrown off the job site because I wasn't experienced? What the hell? The people at Elite are literally trained to make you seem like you have an opportunity but if you speak up about where they send you to, they tell you that you're no longer capable to seek work from them and qualify you as a "voluntary fire", that's how they get ya. Call to talk about it and immediately get sent to a manager who tells you that you either keep working in these shitty conditions or you're fired. Elite goes off a star rating system so even if you work your ass off, you could still get a 1 star rating from someone that's probably not capable of doing the job themselves. This Chris guy , the CEO, credits himself for starting from the bottom, addicted to drugs and starting the company making over $1 million his first year and has been fucking people OVER AND OVER ever since. Probably because he recruits people to companies with high turnover rates. That's why there's always a job for you. If you get hired on, expect to make bare minimum compared to a different person with the same job who got hired through a different agency or even through Indeed, like literally, Elite is as fake as the teeth the geriatric people have in their mouths. If you have a sense of decency don't go with Elite, you're better off applying to McDonald's because at least they won't fuck you over there. I just consider myself "lucky" to have gotten put on a job right off the bat, i've heard from plenty of people, that they called and called and didn't get put on a job instantly. I'd really consider them lucky at the end of the day. Find a better temp agency if you want a job, there are plenty in Wichita that can do miles better for you. read more

Very rude and judgemental not very welcoming, I didn't think it would be a problem to call and communicate that I can't work second meaning I really need first shift.i share transportation with my partner but I guess that's calling off on your first day! lol I did my best to communicate if I had any issues with my schedule time I'd call back. Like all the other reviews This is the worst place and very unprofessional Got a message to come in for a job I seen on indeed. I set it up and was told it would take about 30 minutes to do some paperwork and that I have the job. I said great. Ty. I ll be there tomorrow during my break from my first job. Got a message this morning reminding of the documents I need and I said I would be there. Np. I called less than 10 minutes later wanting too know where and what the name of the place is I would be working at so I could figure out my drive time. Some guy answered and when I asked he informed me that they don't give out that information. I explained that I already got the job from yesterday from what Lisa said and asked too talk too her. He put me on hold while sounding mad that I asked for her. Don't know why!?!? Then gets back on and tells me that I don't have the job and I can't talk too no one but him apparently. So Wierd!! They want you at their office 30min to an hour before you're supposed to start working, unpaid btw, and then THEY DRIVE YOU to the job location. Yeah well today they had my boyfriend come in, 5:30am, only for them to tell him to kick rocks and go home because there's no work. Are you fucking kidding me? So he sat there for 2 hours, unpaid, for what? Even worse, he had to wake up at 5am for NO REASON Absolutely unprofessional ass place. I had worked for them for three days and was called and told that they didn't need me and would call if anything opened up. I then called them the next day and asked for shifts and an Anna gave me a shift from 6:30-3. I accepted and then the day of the shift came. Now mind you I did miss their calls and slept 20 min over my alarm- I live in Newton so it's a 28ish min drive- but I called as soon as I woke up and explained I overslept a little but i was getting ready and I'd be there and that I lived in Newton. 15 or so minutes go by and I'm walking out the door and they had called so I told them I was on my way. I'd be there in about 25ish minute. Well I had gotten into my car and wow it doesn't start so mind you i IMMEDIATELY call her back and explained the situation. Her name was Marcia. She then put me on hold for 3 minutes and I continued to try and get my car to start. I was asked if I could pay for an Uber which I couldn't because I haven't even gotten my first paycheck and then was asked if I had a way up there. this was my only running vehicle and I've never had this problem. she told me that because I didn't have an alternative car I was unreliable and it was "going to be a problem for them". they discard human error. there is no room for mistakes and you're supposed to be a "staffing solution" shame on you. the owner claims to be a man of god but gives no grace and no compassion. taking from people who are in vulnerable positions-not to mention they take 35% of your checks so you end up making 12 an hour. I had expected better from them and was very disappointed. some of the people who were working in my crew also said that the were just downright bad and were lookin for other work. Elite staffing has been great but not so great. I've have always been loyal to work even driving distance to get up at 3am to have a hour to get ready to leave at 4:30 to be in wichita at 5:30 at Elite office before I have to be anywhere to work. This is the first and only temp service that does this. I'm sure they have jobs to fill but good jobs with great pay. I had a bad report from a job and now Elite won't help me with work. I can't even defend my self. Every job they have sent me to loved my everything , a company named Rand. Do not go to Rand. They have a large turn over of temp employees. If you're looking for a job I would not go to this place at all they're not responsive they'll tell you they're going to call you back in the afternoon but they don't they don't ever check with you you have to check with them. This place sent me to a warehouse to do production work no big deal of course but my back started to hurt at the end of the shift and I went to elite staffing the next morning spoke to the owner and he made me sign a waiver. Would give 0 stars if possible. Even after working through this agency for a month, after being given a new assignment for a job much closer, I was again asked to come in daily to check in at their office a full hour ahead of when I would be able to start working each day despite being able to clock in independent of their timeslips at the new facility. Wasting my time, gas money, and patience just for a ritual humiliation exercise, they truly do not care about anyone's lives or wellbeing outside their own. Disgusting evangelical vibes with their blaring of christian music and business cards for various religious services on the front counter- I can't tell you how immediately creepy and off-putting it was to deal with them, especially as a trans woman. Despite not being allowed to legally discriminate against me, they certainly made no genuine attempts to accommodate my identity and I was repeatedly dead-named while contacted on the phone even though I had informed them I preferred to be called something else other than the legal name I still needed to be paid through. Speaking of being contacted- this is one of, if not the absolute least professional organizations I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with in their inability to communicate both with employees and between themselves. I was supposed to start a different and higher paying job even further back before I officially started working through here, but due to "management changes" no one got back to me with the information I would need to start the job. Beyond frustrating to be told I'm starting work somewhere, but then they withhold the information about where it is and who to report to until the day of so there is no way to prepare and try to plan out drive times for the new job or anything-- only their daily check in and hoop-jumping-through. Speaking of withholding-- during the first week of my employment even when I would go to the same place everyday, they made me come in an hour early when I could be saving time and gas to go directly to the job site by only giving me timeslips valid for one day at a time. While I can almost understand this approach to make sure you aren't burned by new temporary hires representing you, the instant I was on the fence about being able to work a weekend shift I was offered the "opportunity" to be given a timeslip valid for a week (which they always could have been, they just had 6 days marked through) which seemed insanely predatory. I truly do not understand the logic (business or otherwise) behind these types of decisions they have piled into a hill they seem quite content about dying on. They treat their temps as disposable and they have a reprehensible method of trying to maintain current hires that benefits no one but themselves and their ego. Elite? Not at all. Elitist? Most definitely. If you have the option to be hired through a different temp agency you should take it. I was VERY disappointed with this agency. My wife and I were looking to relocate to the Wichita, KS area from Tulsa, OK so she we began looking for employment. She came across this staffing agency that had multiple, (5-6) openings with other companies along with an opening for an office manager themselves. After contacting them, an interview was set up and my wife was to meet with them. i will just say it was a waste of a 3 hour drive. She met with one gentleman and things went wonderful. She was all but given the Office Manager position with a starting pay of 13.50 hr. and was told the owner (Chris) would contact her to schedule a drug test and to go over details. About an hour later Chris contacted my wife and left a voice mail stating she was a wonderful fit and possessed a lot of the qualities he was looking for and that he wanted to see her right away, before we drove 3 hours back home. She returned to his office to meet with him, and things went down hill quickly at that point. Not only did he back tract on the full time position he had for his office, when my wife asked about the many other positions that were available, his words were, "we don't have to worry about those now!!". The other jobs were not on the table any longer and the full time 13.00 hr. job at this office went to a part time 11.00 hr. job at best. My wife has a B.S. in Computer Science, THREE (3) Associates degrees, with one in business. She has many years of experience in her field and has worked very long and hard to get to where she is today. I would advise anyone looking to use an staffing agency, NOT to use this company. Both time I told them wrong number, but this last time they didn't care and some guy yelled over a speaker phone asking if I would to work some job over the week end for 9 bucks and hour. I had to actually get firm and say no before they hung up on me. No apologies...so apparently answering the phone is all that consists in regards to vetting possible employees. at first things were great I was working overnight in Eldorado . I drove 30-35 min by myself and was fine with that. it was just me and my car was great on gas. but my car started having issues when my car was the last one standing. full load down and back every night. one night I decided not to go in, my tank was gas tank was dehydrated and my car had to be looked at. I called in again because my son had gotten sick and they stated I was removed from the project because I put them in a bind to get people to work. As if I was the Taxi. and I would need a doctors note for my son in order to get back on the project. so I said okay and never called back. they called 2 days later asking if I wanted to do a new project, I said sure. lets just say I didn't even make it to that project. lol If your in need of a job like now, use a different agency, this one's the worst I've ever been with.
