This is the second year we have had Elite Tree Services to trim our trees, they are excellent!!! I read some old review that was explicit on how bad they were, the only thing I can say is they are not like that now. Great price for all they work they did for us. The crew for Elite Tree Services did a superb job in removing an old maple tree on the backside of our property near the boathouse. I contracted with Elite Tree Services to cut down 2 cabbage palms and trim 11 others. 3 reasons for this review: the challenge getting them to show up, then to finish the job, and they actually got upset with me for calling to find out where they were when they didn't show up as they scheduled (3 times)! The 1st date they scheduled was for Jan 21, 2021. I sent an email on Jan 13 to confirm that they were still coming on the 21st. Schana responded that she had me down for January 28. I reminded her that SHE set the 21st because that was the last day the prices would be valid on the quote. She responded that she would honor the prices on Jan 28, 2021. Jan 27 (Wednesday), Schana called me to say that she needed to delay for a day - they'd come on Jan 29. Jan 29 (Friday): They came; however, they left early without trimming the last 3 trees nor removing many of the palm debris! Schana told me that she'd be back on Monday, Feb 1st to finish the job. I told her that my family was coming from Maryland and would arrive on Sunday (Jan 31) and I was concerned that the top of the palm in the back yard would be dangerous for their dogs (branches were still sticking out of the top and I was worried about my their dogs' eyes). I paid for the entire job before they left on Jan 29, including the 3 remaining trees. I honestly thought that since Schana had promised to be here on Monday, that her company would show up. Obviously, I was wrong. Feb 1 (Monday): When no one had shown up by noon, I called to ask when they'd be here. Their rep said she thought they'd still be here. Feb 1 at 2pm, I called again and this time was told they'd be here on February 2nd by 3pm. I reminded them that my family had arrived and the dangerous tree top was still in the back yard along with the rest of debris. Feb 2 (Tuesday): I waited until 3:40pm before I called again and this time, the answering service told me she'd relay my concern about them not being here and she'd ask them to call me. No one called. Feb 3 (Wednesday): No one called yesterday. My family had delayed our plans for the past 2 days based on the info I received from Elite Tree Services. Schana finally called me to tell me that their equipment had broken this past Monday (February 1) and that's why they didn't come. She promised to be here on February 11. At least my family & I wouldn't have to reschedule anymore days!! Feb 10 (Wednesday): Schana sent me an email at 7:45am telling me she had to delay my job "back a few days because they were doing a job for the City of Naples"!!! That was the last straw for me. It was 2 full weeks and they still had not shown up to finish the job. I was not going to rearrange my schedule anymore. I wanted to go places with my family from Maryland before they returned home. I called the credit card company and asked about filing a dispute and I explained the issue. The rep told me that they could not file a partial dispute but could only file a dispute for the full amount. Feb 11 (Thursday): I called Elite Tree Services around 11am. I asked the rep who answered the phone to relay to Schana that I would give them until Monday, February 15 by 4:45pm to finish the job. If they had not arrived nor finished the job by 4:45pm, I was going to file a credit card dispute for the full amount. I followed up the phone call with an email giving all details. Just as I pressed 'send' for the email, I received an angry email from Schana telling me "I don't know know why you insist on calling and calling and calling and now threatening to cancel the credit card." She said she would return the money for the last 3 trees and I could find someone else to trim my trees. She did return the money for the last 3 trees. I researched tree services on the Better Business Bureau website and selected 4 companies that all had an A+ rating. I was also able to request a quote via the BBB website. I got a phone call from A Force of Nature Tree Service. The rep came out on Monday, February 15 for an inspection of my property to see which trees that needed to be trimmed. She scheduled me for Friday, February 19. She told me that they are hazardous tree removal specialists as well as hurricane debris removal. In fact, they were sent to Louisiana for 2 months after the Hurricane Zeta. When they came on that Friday, my son (still here from Maryland) was talking with one of the guys and told him about the issues I had with Elite Tree Service. He told my son that they have gotten a number of customers who had also hired Elite Tree Service and who all said the same thing about lack of communication and showing up. read more

Elite Tree Services - Palm top left in my yard. They did remove some branches but not all - Tree Services Near Me - Lehigh Acres, Florida

Our experience was totally different than the reviews here. Had one palm tree to be removed. They arrived on time, had the proper equipment to do the job, followed safety measures, took the tree down, removed all the debris and ground the stump in less than an hour. Except for the absence of the tree and the ground remains of the tree stump, one would never know they were even here. Great job, very professional and I would not hesitate to use them again or refer them. read more

Made an appointment online for an estimate but no one ever showed. I called the office and explained what was going on but the receptionist just hung up on me. Don't waste your time dealing with someone who won't make an effort to keep your business. read more
