I am blown away by the professionalism of this company from the staff on the phone, the quote process, to the guys who did the real hard work removing the tree and trimming the other tree. Hands down one of the best service companies I have dealt with in my 30 years living in the Cape Coral area. Not as expensive as I thought it would be, a decent price and they don't even require a deposit to do the job. This company sends you an invoice after they have completed the entire job and they give you about a month to get it paid, I mean what other service companies do this??? I've used Tim's Tree Service a few times over the years. I met Tim through his wife who was a coworker of mine. These guys came and cut what was left of the trees from hurricane Charlie and Frances, including grinding the stumps. They've also done other areas on my property where I had overgrowth. Each time I called Tim, his crew was here promptly and completed the work to my satisfaction with the best price in the area. I don't have trees on my property anymore, thanks to the hurricanes, but if I ever decide to plant any more trees, I know who to call. read more

Tim's took down a big ficas tree in my backyard. Wow, they're fast. They have the right equipment for the job. Tracked skid steer didn't leave much damage to the lawn. My only complaint was the stump grinding portion was kind of sloppy. There was so much grindings associated with the stump removal that they hid some of the stump and roots, so after my cleanup of the grindings there was some root and stump left behind. It will take some effort on my part to make it flat and ready for sod. read more

I hired Tim's Tree Service to cut down a tall pine tree in back of our property that was causing damage to our pool screen. Clayton and his crew came and within the hour they had cut down the entire tree without damaging any of our fruit trees underneath. We were extremely impressed at their team work as well as the level of expertise and professionalism shown as they labored collaboratively to get the job done. When they left, the area was spotless. If it wasn't for the stump you'd never know that any tree had come down. Their price was also exceptionally reasonable. We recommend them very highly. read more

This company couldn't more unprofessional if they tried. The person answering the phone apparently doesn't know enough about the "lingo" to give the correct instructions to the person doing the estimate. Two phone calls later and she assured me I would have done what I wanted. They came and cut 50% of what I wanted and then said it was my fault because I didn't know the "lingo". They came back and made all kinds of promises to fix it but again only did 30% of what they promised. I wrote a letter to the "owner" who then called me 3x to argue and harass me. I overpaid for work that we will now have to either finish ourselves or hire someone else. Do not call this company. The worst $825.00 phone call of my life. read more

Very good value for the work that was done. They showed up the very next day after I accepted the estimate for my stump removal. The bill arrived soon after but I emailed to advise that I would pay it AFTER the mulch cleanup that I was paying extra for was completed...that happened about a week later. I gave Tim's a 4-star rather than a 5-star because of the lack of clarity over how much mulch would be removed for the extra $150 cleanup. I thought they would remove all the mulch but the first thing the cleanup crew said was "we only clean level to the ground...we don't take the mulch out of the hole." Unfortunately this was the first time this had been mentioned and, knowing that pure mulch would not be conducive to grass growth, I already had a pile of dirt standing by to fill the hole. Hopefully, Tim himself would have handled the situation more tactfully than his workers did. One of the workers actually said to me, "Actually the contract doesn't say we will remove ALL THE MULCH; it just says we will remove THE MULCH...which could be any amount of the mulch." I was upset in the moment but, reflecting on it afterwards, I did get a lot of work completed for the amount of labor involved for a total of $325. So...there's a little more work left for me than I expected but--keeping it real--it was a good value. read more

I recently had Tim's Tree Service trim our large black olive tree. I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived in less than half the time quoted to do the job. Their price was the best compared to 2 other companies. They did the most beautiful job on our tree. They left the large trunk branches and enhanced the look of the tree giving it a beautiful canopy. I was also very impressed that there was no sign that they had been there other than the beautifully trimmed tree. No tire marks in our grass. No broken branches or twigs on the ground. Most importantly, they preserved the integrity of my shrubs that circle the trunk of the tree. Tree trimmers in the past have damaged and even killed the Hawaiian Ti and umbrella shrub I have planted beneath the tree. I could not offer a higher recommendation.
