I went in a few weeks ago for a quote. The highest price I was given for the service was $300. Recently, I came across a Facebook ad from the same business advertising the same service at $500, with a prominent "$200 off" promotion. That means the "discounted" price is exactly what I was quoted originally. In other words, the price was inflated to create the appearance of a deal. That kind of pricing tactic is misleading. It relies on manufactured urgency rather than honest, consistent pricing, and it raises questions about how transparent the business actually is once you're past the quote stage. For a simple, straightforward service, there's no reason to play games with numbers. If pricing changes, that should be explained clearly. This wasn't that. Because of this, I wouldn't do business here and wouldn't recommend it to others. Trust matters, and this approach doesn't inspire it. read more

Unfortunately, I can't recommended this place to anyone. Took my truck in September/October of 25' for a full vehicle tint including the windshield. Quoted one price and was told another when I got there. Had to get it cleared up and they agreed to the price they texted me. Tints done. Noticed the next day, nicks on the front two windows and the windshield. Called in and was told it'll go away after a week (anyone with common sense will know a nick wont self heal). Waited. Called again and they said to come by to inspect it, not to get it done, inspect it. Went in and they agreed it needed to be replaced. Set up an appointment for a week later. Unfortunately, had death in the family and couldn't get it done. Fast forward a few months. Reached out again, they stated I have to go back to have inspected before they can schedule. Told them no as this was done already. They scheduled to come and get it done. Had to arrange transport back to work. I get there and the lady comes out and says we can't do it, they coded it wrong. It'll take all day, if I can leave it over night. Umm no, this is my only car. So waste time and my coworker time. Rescheduled again. Came a week later and dropped it off. When I picked it up in the afternoon, the windshield was nicked again! Amateur hour. Jacob or Jake. Wanted me to come back for a 3rd time. Told him no, cause if you can't do it right the first 2 time. There no point for a 3rd. I got a partial refund back. Noticed a few days later the front two windows had bubbles and dust in between the window and film. Had to take it back. They can't remove the dust as it's part of the job, their words. Every window has particulates. Nothing can be done. This is not true, I've had multiple vehicles tinted and never had an issue with dust in between the windows and film. Honestly wish I never found this place, and would have taken my business elsewhere. Feel like the ceramic tint doesn't even repel the heat. Still feels as hot as it was without ceramic. High disappointed. read more

The absolute best in Reno! Their service is fast, & professional. I was able to find them on Instagram and love the "family style" vibe they give. They truly care about their customers. We were treated wonderful & everything was explained thoroughly. There's multiple options which I appreciated, but no pressure on which way to go. Our car came out better than I could have imagined and in less than two hours! I will definitely be back! Update: As if I couldn't be more happy with the service, there was a black box with bow inside. Inside was a handwritten thank you note, some treats, multiple coupons & even some upkeep items. Decided to get my wife her her Christmas present early... I was walking into target, and there was a guy outside heading out coupons. $250 for window tinting. A couple months earlier, I checked the price and most places in Reno. It was around $400. I called them up and asked if this was the correct price. The girl was very friendly on the phone and said not only was it $249, but she would throw in the grip in the front for free. Now after having my van tented, there are quite a few up/charges can be associated with window tinting. so I made sure to get all the specifics. The only charge I would consider was the ceramic tinting upgrade.. Made an appointment for Saturday afternoon. The people were friendly, also let my wife know that it would take about 2 to 3 hours. My wife was quite pleased with the end result. She had the back windows little bit darker than the driver window. And stated earlier, she did go with the ceramic tint. My husband received a promotional coupon for window tinting. So we called to make an appointment on Saturday. I was surprised that they were open and could get me in that day. I have been waiting for a while to get my windows tinted. I was greeted by one of the service people. He went over the different tints and we compared the different shades. I decided to go with the Premier ceramic film and the visor strip on the windshield. I went lighter on the front driver and passenger sides and darker around the back doors and hatchback. I believe the tint was great and visibility is good for night driving. The visor tint really helps in late morning when the sun is up. It took about 2 hours for the whole process and they have 2 large screen TVs in the waiting area as well as snacks and drinks and comfortable chairs. When the job was done, the receptionist explained not to roll down the windows for 5 days and don't use ammonia products to clean the windows. There were stickers across my window buttons and a product care guide on my rearview mirror. The ceramic film has a lifetime warranty by the way. I had a mixed experience with Elite Window Tinting. They did a great job tinting the windows on my Nissan Armada, and their service was initially good. However, things went downhill when I scheduled an appointment to get my Armada vinyl wrap done. I made an appointment on January 5th for January 20th after Samantha confirmed that installer would be available that day instead of the 27th. I paid a $300 deposit to locked in the appointment. Day of appointment, i took the day off work, and rented a car since the shop said they'd need my vehicle for two days. On the day of the appointment, I arrived at the shop, but no one showed up. I waited for 20-30 minutes and tried calling the owner multiple times. I even sent a message on Facebook, but I didn't get a response until four hours later. They claimed I wasn't on their calendar, even though I had paid the deposit. Jake did offer to reschedule for the following week and offered to cover my rental vehicle costs if I rescheduled, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, I didn't go through with it since I'd already lost time, money, and had to rearrange my schedule. While their work is good, this experience was very disappointing and unprofessional. I hope they can improve their scheduling and communication in the future. read more

I wanted to start this off by saying I came to this place back in 2023 with my last car to get my windshield done - it was done flawlessly which is why I came back with my new car. My appointment was in February so I brought my car in and took it home. Noticed some bubbling but that's usually normal as it takes times to completely dry up. I called back a few weeks later to let them know I still had bubbling everywhere along with scratches from their tools. They said "no problem bring it in and we will take a look at it and fix what needs to be fixed" I bring it in and the owner tells me all of the bubbles are normal and no matter what he does it's going to look that way. These bubbles were everywhere, on every window. This includes all the scratches and creases in the tint as well. The back trunk window that was tinted wasn't even cut out properly, I could literally peel the tint off myself. The tint comes with a lifetime warranty so, I thought there was no chance of them refusing to fix it but unfortunately that's exactly what had happened. The owner Jake bribed me with taking all the tint off my windows and sending me home in a fishbowl to have to find somewhere else last minute to fix my car and do it RIGHT. My other option was him only redoing 2 of my windows that had scratches/creases from his tools (and not the rest of them) and comping my windshield for free with the exception of more bubbles in my windshield as that is normal to him. This meant keeping the rest of the windows with all the bubbles. They also bribed me with a box of chocolates (because the free pizza offer didn't happen as I left while I waited for them to take the tint off) and a handwritten note. Then "sent me on my way" I asked him if his 5 star reviews all had bubbles in their windows and he told me "yes, they do." I see from another guy on yelp he had almost the same experience with the box of chocolates/hand written note situation from elite. Must be a common " solution" for them to be lazy and not take accountability for anything I guess. All we wanted was for Elite to take responsibility for what they did and fix it. Bribing your customers to leave and go somewhere else is an awful look and made me feel even more awful!!! Other places may be more expensive, but will do a much better job. The place who just tinted my car apologized for that experience and guaranteed no bubbles or scratches. This is how it should be! I wouldn't recommend coming here if you expect no bubbles, scratches, or creases because here the owner thinks this is all considered a good job. read more

This is an odd review but here goes.......I had my truck windows tinted a few months ago and they did a good job. I was happy with the outcome. I also wanted one large window on my slide-in camper tinted but it was too late in the day to get it done as it was an afterthought. The receptionist quoted me $200 for the one window then offered me a $200 gift card for only $30 to be used at a later date for my camper window. Great deal, right? I called today to get the camper window work scheduled and the woman who answered (the manager) stated the gift card was for full vehicle work only. I told her that is not what was told to me a few months ago. She got very snarky and stated it says it in the fine print. She then stated a lot of people have been fired lately because of mistakes being made such as this one. She offered me a refund of my $30. I will go get my refund and they will not be getting any of my business again. And based on the attitude of the manager, I would not recommend Elite to anyone. read more

charge me almost 1,000 for tint and scrap my front passenger side panel and the left panel, driver/passenger full of bubbles, after they said it would go away Front windshield is scratched. they chipped alittle bit of my paint from the 3rd light panel. Not worth the price at all. never going back. If they tell you that they'll finish in 45min, just go somewhere else. where they take their time and wont be in rush to finish, and won't damage your expensive trucks. My truck is new, for someone else to come and do damage to your vehicle isn't fair! So make sure yall check yalls vehicle, before paying or leaving. Manager never got back to me about my situation. ill be taking to Premier window tint, so they can fix it. I usually don't leave bad review, cause I care about people business, but once someone leaves your 70k+ vehicle scratch, yeah that's a big no no for me. lost my trust. I do not recommend this business! I brought my car in for a full tint including my windshield. The first time it took 4 hours. They did a tint over tint on the front windows. They told me it wasnt an issue. Four days later my car was back because there were multiple issues with the tint rolling and the smaller windows the tint didn't cover the entire area. Left my car for 6 hours the second time. After picking my car up, there was one small window that wasn't tinted. I had to take my car back the same day to have them fix it. 6 days later, the driver side window tint is rolling. I am at this place for the third time! When you pay for the top option of tint and when this business is a high rated place, you would think it would be done right. Look else where. read more

We walked into elite window tinting on March 31 2025 11am super excited to get our windows tinted! When we walked into elite we were greeted greatly and everything went smoothly! But once we gave our keys away then got told that it would be only a few hours things went south. Not only was it 4.5 hours into the service, 3:30pm, when we decided to give them a call for a check on our service, as they never gave us an update, they told us they got backed up from another customer and we are main priority now and the car should be done by 6 o'clock. As 6 o'clock rolls around we call back, 7 hours into service. They proceeded to say it's going to take even longer to get everything done in our car and gave us an ETA of 7 o'clock, 8 hours into service. So when we do finally show back up to the shop to pick our car up at 7 o'clock, as they said it would be done. They told us it's going to be another 15mins to finish things up. Already frustrated about how long everything took the "manager" of this place comes to me and proceeds to say that he is completely sorry for the service we have gotten from their business today and they do expect a bad yelp review but then tells us that they cracked our windshield as they were trying to rush the process of the window tinting. At this time they had our car for 8.5 hours. I've never heard of a window tinting taking longer than at most 3 hours and for the fact they had our car for 8.5 hours and still felt rushed made us feel like we weren't any part of their priority and pushed us to the back of the line while proceeding to help the other customers. When it was all said and done they told us they will replace our windshield but we still owe them for the whole window tinting and we said we don't feel we should pay anything for everything that happened and the way we were treated. But they would not give us our car back unless we paid for the whole window tinting. So they proceeded to take the window tinting off and send us on our way. But they still were going to replace our windshield. Finally get back into our car to drive away and then it won't start, guess that happens all the time to them? And my father's ashes and a rosary was on my rear view mirror that they broke off and never tried to fix it to put it back on. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. What we ended up with is no tint, a broken rosary/my dad's ashes, a hand written apology and some chocolate. Along with all of this now all the lights on my dashboard popping up and a messed up car battery. Crazy to even think how this place is still in business. read more

Had Elite tint my two front windows for me to match the rear. So far so good and they got me in early and out the door pretty quick. There is a 5% charge to pay by credit card and if you're looking to match your rear windows and they are twenty five percent tint there is a $20 "speciality tint" charge as well. read more

I had my home windows tinted a few weeks ago by Aaron. He was polite, but his work wasn't the quality I was expecting. I called him out on his quality or work and he tried to make it right. They gave me a discount of nearly 80% off. After inspecting it further I called elite for a full refund and removal of the tint. Jake the owner told me he would personally come out and re tint the windows for free. He brought Aaron back with him and taught him a thing or two. I wasn't aware that Arron was still apprenticing and wasn't to journeyman level yet. After Jake re installed the window tint with Aaron's help, they had me inspect it for my stamp of approval. This time their work was top quality work and I would definitely have them do either my home or car anytime. It's hard these days to find a company that stands behind its work and its employees all while making the customer happy and they did just that. read more
