Taylor took the time to walk me through options, answered every question I had, and offered a very competitive price for high-quality tint. When I met him in person, it was clear he knows his craft -- he's been doing this work for many years and has run his shop for about nine years. The experience was smooth from start to finish. He and his crew were professional, efficient, and clearly take pride in their work. The final result turned out great and I couldn't be happier. That means the "discounted" price is exactly what I was quoted originally. In other words, the price was inflated to create the appearance of a deal. That kind of pricing tactic is misleading. It relies on manufactured urgency rather than honest, consistent pricing, and it raises questions about how transparent the business actually is once you're past the quote stage. For a simple, straightforward service, there's no reason to play games with numbers. If pricing changes, that should be explained clearly. This wasn't that. Because of this, I wouldn't do business here and wouldn't recommend it to others. Trust matters, and this approach doesn't inspire it.

After walking out to inspect my car, I realized the front windshield had not been tinted. I had paid $420 for only the four doors and the back window, which I assumed covered the entire car. When I went back inside, I was told the windshield was an additional charge. That should have been clearly explained upfront. On top of that, I was informed I would need to sign a waiver before they would tint the front windshield. To be fair, the quality of the tint job was good. However, their communication and transparency were extremely poor. Customers should not have to guess what is included in the price. Clear explanations about pricing, services, and requirements should be provided before the work begins." Good workmanship does not excuse misleading expectations and lack of communication.

First time coming into this location and needless to say awesome, quick, and beyond great quality of work. Scheduled a first appointment and I could not make it and called in and they rescheduled the same week. I live in Truckee so I did have to plan ahead to get to the shop on time. My appointment was at noon, showed up about 5-10 minutes early and they got me out of there within less than half an hour, I am not very knowledgeable in the tint area and I didn't know that the front window was separate. I asked if the gentleman could do it at the moment and with no doubt they accepted. I will definitely recommend this place to friends and family and will come again! They were very kind and provided great costumer service! They have a cute and calm dog, comfortable sofas and a very clean lobby with wifi available! The tint quality was exactly to my liking and I was beyond satisfied with my vehicle after seeing it from the outside and inside! Again, I definitely recommend this place! Wow! We got our "fish bowl" 2016 Honda Fit windows tinted at The Tint Shoppe this week, and we couldn't be more pleased at the outcome! Cody was kind, gave thorough explanations and instructions, and did exceptional work. Also, in all our communications, Cody was quick to respond, even going the extra mile to help us secure an appointment with a nearby windshield replacement business. Cody is a great example of exemplary customer service that is difficult to find these days.
