Although a very pleasant and responsive office, I'm disappointed in their attention to detail and overall competence. My insurance lapsed (even though on autopay) for whatever reason and I was never informed of the cancellation. Therefore, was driving uninsured for a few months. Once I caught this error, I had to notify them and they reinstated my insurance but at a default setting not at the original coverage I had selected. Switching agents for peace of mind. read more

I had a bad dealing with a State Farm agent in Northern California and vowed to never do business with State Farm again. Recently decided to purchase a fifth wheel trailer from a dealership in Temecula. During the approval process, I received a call from Elizabeth King from State Farm. I assured her I was not in the market for insurance and was not pleased with State Farm. She informed I was referred to her by the dealer to try and obtain financing for our potential new purchase. Long story short, we were approved by State Farm Bank and needed to find a co-applicant due to our insufficient credit history (we always paid in cash or paid off our debt early and not the full length of the contract). Elizabeth and her staff worked tiredly trying to get us approved with out having to find a co-applicant. My wife and I were about to throw in the towel and try at a later time. Just then, we received a call from Elizabeth that she was going to contact upper management and see what they can do to get us approved without needing a co-applicant. The very next day we received a call from Elizabeth King......"CONGRATULATIONS, YOU ARE NEW RV OWNERS". We went into her office the same day, signed to proper documents and walked out with a check for our new RV. My family and i have had State Farm through Elizabeth king for years and we have had no complaints. The girls at this office are doing things right! Every time i have a question or a request Crystal is on it as soon as possible and that's not always easy considering the size of their office and the size of their clientele. She always goes above and beyond for my family. Go see Crystal if you want things done prompt and correctly! Update: they even sent me a thank You card hand signed by the entire office with a gift card. They really put their own personal touch on everything they do. Elizabeth's office was professional , helpful, and provided options for us to switch our house, earthquake , car and personal property insurances to State Farm. Brittany, in the office provided thorough analysis of our options, made sure we were not over or under insured and handled all of our questions as we switched insurance. We discovered , due to her good work that we were over insured in our house and under insured in our earthquake plans. We now have better insurance plans to meet our needs and we are spending a lot less money. We really are glad we switched to this State Farm office. Even after we were insured, we had follow up questions about long term care insurance. We connected Elizabeth and she provided options other than insurance to help with our needs since State Farm does not have those plans. She really cares about us and it really shows in the way she follow ups on all our questions. read more

We signed up with Elizabeth King and it was 5 star service. We did 4 vehicles and our house. We also had our daughter sign up with her too. All was good until our 6 month renewal. Our policy went up. I called in and spoke to a lady in her office. She looked up the policy and said that she would review it and call me back. I stated that we lost the Good Student and Good Driver discount, also my truck went up. She said that she would call me back,. I called back a3 days later and the lady in her office said that she don't know why they removed the discounts and for the truck it was because I put 8000 miles for the year. She said that she pulled the mileage up on my truck and it is going to be about 6500 miles for the year and this would drop down the truck. She asked why II put 8000 miles, I told her I didn't want to put 6 and then go over then have my rates go up because of that. She said that she would adjust the mileage and get the other issues corrected. I then received my renewals in the mail and to my surprise nothing had been corrected and that they deducted more than double the amount. I called in and asked for Elizabeth but the lady in her office said that she would take care of me. She asked what is going on. I explained and she said let me call in to State Farm and figure this out. I called back and she said "Well you never sent in the mileage verification for your truck." I said" You never asked for it". Her remark was "Yes I did!" I said okay not here to argue I will come in and cancel my insurance but I want to know why they took over double out of my account. She said "Oh that's for your daughters policy," I said she pays her own. She said that she could refund me the overpaid amount or credit my account. I said " No, I don't want to find out that I have been driving around without insurance so leave it like it is until I come in and pick up a check, when I cancel my insurance. A week later my daughter was hit and her car was totaled. My daughter and I go in to the office and Elizabeth has my daughter sign the paper work and title. I canceled all my insurance and then Elizabeth makes the remark "Sorry we couldn't please you. We tried our best". She then asked if I was leaving because of the rates. I was like really, you couldn't even get a simple thing as a renewal right on my policy. She then handed me a business card and said if I can ever help you out in the future let me know. I left the card on the desk and walked out. Well, its not over yet. Elizabeth called my daughter a week later because she had her sign the title in the wrong place. WOW REALLY . My daughter works 5-6 days a week 10+ hours a day. Elizabeth told her she needs to come in and sign the title in the right place. My daughter said " I don't know when I can make it we are super busy and I am not supposed to be on my cell phone so text me. My daughter said that Elizabeth offered to meet her at her State Farm office or at a store parking lot to get the title signed. Never said" Hey sorry for the mistake, how about I come by your house for you to sign it. MEET IN A PARKING LOT !! really That is why I rate this agent a 1 STAR. If I performed at this level on my job I would be looking for a new one. read more

Absolutely amazing experience. Brittany was incredible. I was moving cross country and had so many questions about how insurance differed in CA. She was so patient and responsive. She quoted almost every possible combination of coverage and deductibles until we felt comfortable that we had the appropriate coverage for the right amount. You will notice that most of the 5 star reviews are directed at Crystal, not EK. And I agree Crystal is very good and should probably have her own office. However, EK was unprofessional and completely lacking in customer service competence. My insurance (which was on autopay for months) lapsed not once, but twice under her watchful eye due to SF mistakes. I learned of the lapse in insurance when I noticed the payments (which had been working fine for months) had suddenly stopped coming out of my bank. My insurance was canceled without notification and my family was driving around uninsured for months. She refused to accept responsibility for the autopay stoppage or for canceling the insurance and not telling me. Rather she blamed me and my bank and became unprofessional on the phone. Her solution for the matter was to go elsewhere. So I did. read more

Not only is Elizabeth herself great, but her entire staff is thoughtful and attentive. I had my 2 year old with me every time I had to go in and the staff literally babysat her while I got my paperwork in order. Wow, what can I say but poor customer service and poor representation for State Farm, and I'm not talking the office staff I mean Elizabeth King her self. I have filed a complaint with the company, due to the fact that she was deceitful, she lied to me, told me my insurance had lapsed when it was fine. When I called to speak with her she was very rude, she spoke over the top of me and she would not let me finish my sentence. Very poor work ethic and very poor excuse for a supposed professional. There are many agents to chose from, my suggestion is to find a new one or avoid this one all together! State Farm has always been great, so I don't let this bad apple ruin the bunch. Elizabeth King is by far the best person to go to for insurance. She is much more knowledgeable than many other insurance agents in town. Elizabeth took the time to go over mine and my wife's home, auto and business insurance. We were blown away when she told us that she was able to get us 3 to 4 times the coverage and saved us about $6 from what we were paying. My wife and I didn't realized that we were under-insured by a wide margin. Elizabeth took the time to explain why and how she was able to save us money and get us the proper coverage. Elizabeth said most people have no idea that they are under-insured or don't have the coverage they think they have. We can agree, as we thought that we were properly covered and we were not. Had my wife and I got in an accident before we met Elizabeth, we could have lost our home, business and more. We are very grateful for her professionalism and knowledge. What a joke. I'm paying almost double what I was paying with AAA because they said they'd be there when I need them. When I call, I get the run around from the office manager and nobody knows how to help. Apparently a simple question about my bill takes 2 weeks to answer. The last time I called and talked to the OM, crystal. She put me on hold and she proceeded to rant about how annoying my requests were saying 'how does someone call in and ask for help but doesn't have any of their information ready'. I was so shocked that she talks about the customers in this manner. Completely baffling that someone in customer service would act this way, especially in a management position. I believe she thought I was on hold or mute, either way , completely unprofessional. If a customer bothers you that much, get another job. Your customer service is horrible. I've switched companies that week and got a better price. My name isn't Michael, I just never want to be contacted by this office again... good riddance! read more
