Unfortunately, after her passing the business was taken over by a managing chain. It has now become just another big vet chain business with more automation but less customer service when it's most needed - making initial contact with the company to schedule an appointment. It's nearly impossible to call to schedule an appointment and speak with a live person. When calling, you get the option of leaving a message for a callback or holding on the line. the problem is that no one ever picks up. I've tried calling four times since December and each time I have yet to have a live person pick up my call from being on hold. I'm beginning to think it's time to downsize to a smaller practice where I can actually get a hold of someone when needed. Playing phone tag or email tag is no longer cutting it.

Both of them could often look at your dog and see what was wrong without expensive tests. Whenever possible they taught us how to care for our dogs at home rather then sending them to an emergency facility overnight. In September we found that our last dog had cancer. We chose palliative care for Hobbit and Dr. Woodcock helped us enjoy him for 4 more months. I never regretted driving from Wilmington all those years and if a foster appears I will be making that drive again. Special thanks to Kenny Roberts for keeping Debby's dream alive and going bigger. Today I was taking my animals there.At eleven as per the conversation with the receptionist when I made the appointment upon arrival.They tell me my appointment isn't until eleven thirty. I told them if this is always happened to me.Every time practically, I decided to wait twenty minutes.The one receptionist was rude and giving me stink eye and had an attitude with me. I told them it wasn't my problem.What I was told?And then I would wait twenty minutes, then the doctor comes out.And refuses to see me and like pets. So i'm professional, I do not recommend this place to anyone.They can control their staff.They're always laughing and joking around in the back room, and they don't know what they are doing. I've also had misdiagnosis of my pet, which in return has led me to take em back for simple antibiotics, which wasn't prescribed when it needed to be.Do not take your pets here.I will be taking my animals to a real professional veterinarian.

Our elderly dog suffers from chronic pain resulting from a past injury. Dr. Roesener spent a lot of time carefully evaluated our dog during a recent flair and came up with a treatment plan that alleviated the dog's pain and increased his mobility. Not to mention, our dog is acting like his happy old self again. So grateful to have such a wonderful vet in our community!

Multiple experiences which offended me drove me to find a different provider for my fur babies. I brought my dog in for a spay, and she came home with an area of bleeding abrasion from clippers and three bleeding toenails -- none of which were mentioned to me. The nurse insisted the cut was just a "razor burn" and "not a big deal." She got defensive because the nail trimming was "a favor." My dog has clear toenails, so it's kinda hard to miss. This care strikes me as substandard. No apology, no explanation -- and when we returned for a follow up to make the situation better, the office felt hostile. We switched vets right after, and it felt the best thing for my dog. Two months later, I received an invoice for a bill I had already paid. When I called for instructions to clear up the error, the attitude was like a brick wall. Impolite and unhelpful. A secretary was dismissive, saying the burden of clearing it up was on me, and to "check the bank statements." Overall, an upsetting experience. I would not recommend this clinic.
