My hairstylist was Brittney and let me tell you, she was absolutely phenomenal. I have NEVER had a hairstylist so caring and attentive to my desires of how I wanted my hair to actually look. She isn't one of "those" who just rush the haircut and all about the money.. she is very patient. "I will just cut your hair little by little, let me know if you want me to go any shorter or leave it. I want you to see how you would look before I cut your hair any shorter." WOW! Just wow. I HAVE FOUND A GIFTED ARTIST! I don't usually get lucky when I pick a salon to do my hair, but this time I found the Holy Grail. When I walked into ELKAE, my hair was half gray from the root to my ears, and the rest was fried out, blonde and frizzy. I have fine hair, but it is curly and very prone to breakage. When I walked out of there, Leah had turned me into a beautiful woman again. She truly is a color expert because no one has ever been able to make my hair softer after color-- it is so beautiful, the color blends my natural gray with blonde highlights. If you are scrolling through looking for a great hair stylist - you found her!! Stephanie is a color wizard who worked her professional magic on my hair! I wanted to blend my grey hair, which had about 1" growth, so I could move away from touching up my roots every 4 weeks. Stephanie placed baby lights with an light ash blonde toner and a base of cool brunette. My hair looks better than it ever has! The salon itself is clean and beautifully decorated. Elkae Salon is the best in Pinellas County. If you live even a little far away I recommend making the drive. I have been going to Leah for around 13 years. I would never trust anyone else with my hair! She is beyond excellent with hair color and fixing color that we mess up doing ourself or from another salon. Leah is OUTSTANDING!!!! I came here with broken hair and instead of being blond it was more orange/gold. SHE FIXED IT!! Always feel beautiful when I leave here. My hair does not look damaged anymore I have never had Stephanie work on me however, I have seen her styling other customers and they too always seem to look beautiful. I wanted to do a SHOUT OUT... to Leah an amazing stylist...colorist and the extension queen. I come in every four weeks for root touch up and her coloring products do not irritate my scalp which is amazing because I am allergic to several ingredients found in haircoloring.
