What, what, what?…read more Seriously, stop reading this review and go to Brindi's immediately! Wow... We had the sampler platter, which was yum and then some. Crazy delicious Baba ghanoush. (I will share some of the completely pretentious, but true comments circulating at our table.) "I haven't had eggplant this good since Santorini." And the mushrooms. "Diners in Istanbul would be jealous of this dish. I had amazing mushrooms at that fab little place near the Blue Mosque, but these are now my fave stuffed mushrooms in the world." Yeah , Snowbirds, the chicken kebab is healthy and flavorful, but, "The lamb will transport your taste buds." Our desert was a Dubai delight. "The only thing that would make this dish more delightful and decadent would be to dust it with flakes of 24 carat gold." Oh, and the staff is AMAZING We discussed climbing over the fence and pitching a tent in their garden on the way home. Fellow Foodies, Brindi's puts Green Valley on the current gastronomical map of Southern AZ. P.S. Dear Brindi's, have you thought about adding a few weekend brunch items?

It was a nice sunny afternoon so we sat in the outside seating area table with and umbella, a friendly and kind staff. A concise menu, thats very navigable with traditional mediterrean and turkish dishes. Started with the fresh hummus and bread, it was very good and a solid start to our afternoon. The the lamb kebabs seemd in order for lunch, served off skewer in a cast iron skillet, it was good and rich flavors but the lamb was a little tough. Overcooked most likely. The side salad was fresh and well made. The entire staff and owners are kind and gracious, and took good care of us 3.5 Stars rounded up for the kind staff 01159

Great value in the off season…read more Double bedroom was large and in very nice condition. Most parking slots are under solar cell canopies. Keeps cars cooler Pool and hot tub are very large and nice with trees and umbrellas for shade. Staff was very nice. Included breakfast was good but no pastries or whole fruit. Fruit cups are available and can include yogurt. Omelet station did a nice job. WIFI was poor. Often it would drop away or be very slow. Almost no place to walk to for food or drinks. 10 minute drive does give you some options. 20 minutes is better.

We ended up leaving early and would not stay here again. The…read moreroom we were assigned was ground level with a sliding door that opened directly into an active parking lot no barrier, no separation, just cars and people walking directly past with full visibility into the room. Traveling with a toddler, this felt unsafe and completely inappropriate. There was direct access to moving vehicles just steps outside the door and no real sense of privacy. The next morning, we tried to address this at the front desk and were told to contact a manager. We followed instructions, called, left a voicemail, and provided our personal number. No one ever called back. The front desk interaction with Mike was also unprofessional and dismissive, which made the situation worse instead of better. We chose not to stay the remaining nights due to safety concerns and lack of response, yet the hotel still refused to authorize any refund for the unused portion of the stay. This was not the level of care or accountability I would expect from a property that markets itself as a resort.

Despite the fact that the ranch is genuinely and wonderfully historic, it is very clean and well cared for and we lacked nothing. The guest rooms and common areas are comfortable and charming. Each room is unique and had all the creature comforts we could need. The grounds offer areas of individual respite or group gatherings. I spent quiet moments listening to the contented horses eating breakfast while watching the antics of a pair of cardinals (in addition to the many other beautiful birds all over the grounds). Did not use the pool or hammock but they looked inviting. The food! Sooo good! It's not easy to feed a large varied group such as ours but they did so with flying colors. Always delicious and plentiful and accommodating. We felt spoiled and loved it. The staff is down to earth and genuine and treated us all like royalty. The team of Ross and Lynee enhanced our experience at Kenyon even more. Ross matched each rider to the right horse and offered safe enjoyable riding through the beautiful desert and shared cowboy poetry in the evening. Lynee ensured every single guest had the most delightful experience. True professionals. The ranch is remote enough to feel and enjoy tranquility but very nearby there are opportunities to enjoy art, State and National parks/museums, dining and shopping. There is plenty to do if one chooses. The Kenyon Ranch is good for the soul and we will be back.

There were lots of people but it wasn't crowded and there was plenty of room for the tables for selling t-shirts and baked goods. Minus 1 star cuz the floor's concrete and hurts your legs after standing/walking on it for 2 hours. There were chairs but they were all filled up. Most of the chairs didn't have padding either. I don't think added more chairs is an option because there would need to be a riser to lift the back rows up so people could see. As this is a multipurpose facility there's limits as to what can be done. Hey, it would be great for Fight-Club! Oops, I'm not suppose to talk about that.

While I was there for the Comic Con the owner was actually wandering around asking vendors/artists how everything was and was it set up well for them, which I really appreciated. It is a large warehouse and the parking is in ample supply here. It's a little tough to find if you're not familiar with the location, it's behind a large RV sales place just off of I-10 and Irvington. The bathrooms are quite dated and there are only four stalls in the women's restroom. Overall though I think it's a good facility.
