Laurel and Stewart are AMAZING people who literally made our dream wedding come true. The scenery and setting are simply breathtaking and romantic. Laurel was excellent in every way. Communication, Punctuality, Kindness and Love were all we felt from the moment we met them. We couldn't have asked for more. The weather was gorgeous in late October and suited our spooky vibe perfectly. We used Cafe a la Carte as our food vendor, and it was beyond delicious. Just went to a wedding here and it was seriously a gorgeous venue. The views of the Santa Ritas are fantastic. There are chickens, dogs and cats running around and being adorable. There was a horse that came right up to the fence so we could pet it. The reception area was awesome, it's by a pool, it's grassy and there are really pretty lights. I know they also have a pumpkin patch and other events here so visit, it's awesome. read more

A confection of freshly cut hay and deep fried funnel cakes wafting in the gentle autumn breeze greeted us as we entered the gates to the annual Fall Festival. The entrance fee was $5 each (for ages three and over), which was a bargain considering it covered a jumpy house, hay maze, petting zoo, and pony rides for my two preschoolers. We arrived around 10:30 AM, before things got hectic. There were a few different food options, but given my company we headed straight for the more traditional looking food truck. The service was slow and a little disorganized, but the corndog was worth the wait - freshly battered, deep fried, artery clogging, fair food deliciousness. Next year, I look forward to trying the highly touted homemade pumpkin pie, tacos and/or barbecue. This year, I was outnumbered, outvoted and outgunned. "Mama, I LOVE farm music!!!" Note to self: perhaps I ought to introduce the kids to the legends of country music. The live band proved to be a real treat for the little guys. On our way out, I herded my brood through the pumpkin patch - which was really a hodgepodge of pumpkins of varying sizes scattered throughout a field. My family from the 'burbs didn't care, but I can see where the lack of vines might bother traditionalists. Even for those of us unfamiliar with this part of Southern Arizona, the farm is an easy, well-marked jaunt right off of I-19. Agua Linda presents the idyllic version of farm life to young city/suburban children...we'll definitely be back next year. UPDATE: Sadly, we won't be returning next year because the owners have decided to focus on the wedding business and discontinue the Fall Festival. As it happens, I did attend a wedding there in Fall 2013, and it really is a lovely venue. read more

Awesome spot. I went to a wedding here and was assisting the photographer. I have been to tons of venues around Tucson, and this place was gorgeous. It reminded me of home, very cozy, low-key, and well managed. There are flowers everywhere, gardens of them, complete with farm animals, dogs, and the friendliest cat I have ever met. It is a family run affair, and the owner is a lovely older woman, who has many interesting stories and wisdom to share. If you want to get married in Tucson, check this place out. read more

Such a cute little (working) farm! We had a blast wondering around checking out the animals! And the pumpkin pie is to die for, we even got the information to order one for thanksgiving. The pumpkins all looked great. The raw honey is tasty- and comes in a glass mason jar (love). And everyone there was super friendly. The only reason this farm isn't getting 5 stars is the price of pumpkins. Although this may be skewed because I am from upstate NY where pumpkins are basically free. read more

Great place and have bragged about it year after year, sang its praises and posted pictures on my facebook!! But recently I wanted to plan an event there and after 6 emails, 2 phone messages and a facebook message, I finally received one very curt email and when I sent an email back with a follow up question, I have still never heard anything back. I appreciate they are busy and a working farm, etc etc BUT AT LEAST CALL SOMEONE BACK THAT WANTS TO DROP A CHUNK OF CHANGE AT YOUR ESTABLISHMENT!!! I love this place but customer service is a big deal to me and after 4 years here and wanting to create a tradition with my young son of going to Agua Linda for Fall Festival and Easter, I will now go elsewhere. Its too bad, too... I really like the idea of supporting local farming co-ops, but if you dont want to offer the services anymore, remove the page from your website. read more

This is my all-time favorite pumpkin patch! Totally worth the drive for Tucson folks! Not only do they have a great selection of pumpkins for carving, they're also a working farm. This means you'll get fresh angus beef burgers and homemade pumpkin pie! There are other fun stuff for the kiddos like a petting zoo, hay bale maze, etc, but I enjoy going as an adult. They've got a little store selling jams, fruits and veggies, and other yummy farm stuff. My favorite times to go are on Friday nights - they show "Its the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" on a big screen under the stars. Grab your pumpkins, get some farm-fresh eats, and enjoy. We just celebrated my daughter's wedding at Agua Linda on October 15, 2016. I cannot say enough about how perfect this venue was, and how they made this day even more perfect. This was a formal wedding in the country. There are two choices for a bridal suite and with a large group we chose the larger of the two which had enough space and mirrors to get ready. The groom and groomsmen had the Cantina to dress and hang out pre-ceremony. The ceremony was in the orchard with Elephant Head in the background - beautiful. Our timing was perfect.The grounds were beautiful, trees, flowers, grass. Agua Linda had the wedding arch, chairs, tables, bar, lighting and sound system all set up prior to our arrival. They have an outdoor dance floor, the pool house doubled as our bar for signature drinks, and they had a nice fire pit area for a bon fire as the evening got chilly. With a variety of options - you can personalize this venue to be just what you want. The family that runs this venue are friendly, pleasant, helpful and worked with us well on all that we wanted. When I say it was perfect - I am not saying it lightly. It was truly a magical night and Agua Linda played a key role in that. Thanks so much to all! read more

ATTENTION WEDDING PLANNERS!!!! DO NOT HAVE YOUR WEDDING HERE! I am only giving this place 2 stars because of the sheer beauty of it. My photographer took wonderful pictures and my guests were basking in the elegance and beauty of the farm. I agree, it is very breath taking. HOWEVER, the owners are not professional what-so-ever! Stewart (the owner) will not let you bring a DJ in. He told us he was the DJ. We had to trust that he would do a good job, which he did not! Last minute on the day of, at the reception, he told my planner that he didnt want to announce the wedding party, so his wife had to announce them into the reception. She mispronounced a few names, & called my mother in twice. Stewarts DJing was almost depressing. My planner had to tell him more then once to have a little personality behind the mic. BEST PART: They were both drinking all night! AT MY WEDDING!!! There was an older lady (I think a grandmother of the family) that lives out there that yelled at the groomsmen before the ceremony. The owners son came up to me at the reception and told me "Thanks for paying for my college". WTF!!! Why was he even walking around my reception??? After the wedding they sent me a ridiculous bill that I had to call and fix because it was nowhere near what I had or used or ordered from them. Overall, they are very unprofessional for a large wedding. If you are doing something small and dont care about having a DJ that will play the music you requested (because we gave him a list and he didnt play most of it!) or have an upbeat personality then I guess he will work for you. If you dont mind their family walking around your reception and drinking then go for it! My planner will NEVER take another client that wants to get married out there. There re so many more things that happened but these are the ones that stand out. You have been warned... read more

We just attended a wedding at the Farm on Sept. 8, 2018. This is a great venue for a wedding, birthday celebration, family reunion, etc. It's a very mature property in an isolated and quiet location in southern Amado, AZ. It has a large area for a reception or gathering, a swimming pool, and inside bar area and lovely grounds surrounded by serene pastureland and a backdrop of the Santa Rita Mtns. We would definitely consider using the Farm for a venue of our own. However, I have two suggestions: 1) the entrance to the Farm is not marked. When you drive south on the E. Frontage Rd. in Amado you run out of pavement and are suddenly on a dirt road. There should be a sign indicating that the Farm is "down the dirt road." 2) when we were leaving the event in the evening (it was dark) there was no lighting to get from the reception area to the parking lot--we had to use camera lights to find our way. read more

Looks like an old ranch, not sure if it's a working farm. Loved the look of it in the fall and we had a great time exploring the farm and visiting it's pumpkin patch. "corn" maze was easy enough... Very cute place to take toddlers! There was a "hay maze" that my two year old son just loved! The hayride was cute and there were tricycles around for the little ones to ride too. The petting zoo was a bit of a let down as there were only goats, but my son still liked it. My only complaint is the pie...it is supposed to be amazing - it was awful! AND it cost me $4 for one slice...and it was a small slice!! ...but the zucchini bread and pumpkin bread made up for it. Overall, a fun trip for little kids, would definitely go back. read more

When we went to Agua Linda two years ago it was 3 to 3.5 stars. 1. Last time, the pumpkins and other squash were on the vine and we picked it ourselves. This time the pumpkins had either been imported from somewhere else, or transferred from another part of the farm. We asked some of the workers and couldn't get a straight answer out of them. They first said that the pumpkins were grown in the field that they were placed in, but when we pointed out that there were no actual pumpkin plants in that field, they changed their story to "the pumpkins were transferred from a back field." 2. It is expensive. The entrance fee is $5 per person (which is anyone over 2 years old). We had a minimal and not very good lunch for $14 (nachos and 2 grilled cheese sandwiches, no drinks). We also got two pieces of pumpkin pie at $4 a pop (this one is worth it, the pumpkin pie is very good). We also purchased the above sketchy pumpkins that we selected. It was $25 for two small pie pumpkins, and three medium sized pumpkins. read more

The best pumpkin-picking experience...for grown-ups AND kids! This is a small, organically-grown farm and it feels small and intimate when you go. Unlike closer patches, there are virtually no lines to any activity or concession, no greeters handing out maps to help you navigate the human jungle. Instead, beautiful trees form a canopy overhead, live bluegrass guitar greets you, the smell of fresh honey roasted squash and pie invites you in. Our son loved petting the friendly goats, watching the chickens that darted to and fro, the tractor ride to the pumpkin patch, and the myriad of other activities. Where else can you eat honey-drizzed squash on a farm-supplied picnic blanket in a cool oasis while listening to live music for $5!!! read more

We chose to get married at Agua Linda Farm and can't say enough good things about the experience -- incredible view, gorgeous and unique location, friendly helpful people, a very fair price. We highly recommend considering this venue for your wedding!!! Disappointing. If your kids are older than 2 it's not worth the drive and fees for the experience. At first the entrance is charming and shady. But once you're in - this farm feels all dried up. The pumpkins are scattered among weedy unkept rows with puny and scant pumpkin plants. Sandwiches are pricey and lack toppings. It feels like this farm is making minimal effort to invest in the farm and existing only to collect your cash. read more

It is a fun experience for the kids but not too gentle on your pocket book. $2 for a can of soda is a little much, don't you think? Especially considering you're not allowed to bring your own bottled water or drinks and fall days sure are still hot, hot enough we needed sunscreen. The port a potties were VERY unsanitary, you can tell they haven't been cleaned in awhile. I would suggest taking some clorox wipes with if you plan on having to use the restrooms. No sinks but they did have very runny hand sanitizer. The food line was long, had to wait 20 minutes to get to the window and another 20 minutes until your food was ready. 50 cents/pound for pumpkin didn't sound like much but it was double the price we paid for the same size pumpkins at Safeway. All in all it was a fun experience for the children which makes me happy but I did feel the need to warn other parents about the things I mentioned. read more
