Service was great but the burger was lacking flavor. Got the double. The portions were good but the patties were completely lacking seasoning. The meat was crumbly as good tender burgers should be but barely adding salt and pepper leaves it wanting. There was also a lack of crust/char from the griddle. The bun also fell apart very quickly. Was hoping the hype was real but it isn't unfortunately. It's ok but would still go to cookout or Culver's over this. I know it's a local business but salt goes a long way. read more

3.5 stars. I am torn with my review. My burger was good, but my mom's was not. We asked for bacon on her burger, but it wasn't cooked all the way, and they forgot the lettuce. Which was on the order. I feel like the food was rushed, which led to the issue. The place is clean and has room so you can eat in. The onion rings were good, a little greasy, but had good flavor. I had the loaded fries, but the chili did not have any flavor. I feel that if they slow down just a bit, the quality will improve. They get tons of customers, so maybe I just caught it on an off day. read more

This building and the people involved are an institution to Valdosta Georgia. For decades, And as long as I can remember you could guarantee the best tasting burgers and fried okra. I have traveled to every corner and more of the U.S. There is simply nothing like it anywhere, nowhere even comes close. We decided to try Ella's while traveling on 75 because of the excellent reviews on Yelp. Ella's lived up to its reputation. Everyone was friendly. The food was served quickly and was fresh and hot. Although we went to this restaurant during Covid and was not able to go inside I did enjoy the food. Once I arrive the drive-through line was very long I knew that meant that must be good I was nervous that it would take forever in the line but we were at the window very quickly.My mom and I both ordered the number one I think it was the Ella cheeseburger meal. I thought it was very good the fries were very hot and fresh and the burger was fresh and hot. I will definitely be going back again to try other things. They also have a happy hour I think between 3 and 5 PM where they have some of the food items at a discounted price. This is a good black owned business. And my reviews aren't good because they're black owned only. If it wasn't good I would still say it wasn't. But I love to be able to give a good review to the black on business as well when they deserve it. sorry I didn't get to take pictures of the food because once I got home with the bag I was so hungry I started eating. After snacking on those hot fresh fries on the way I couldn't wait to take pictures and I forgot. At least I got a picture when I first got the bag so that I could check in. Probably the best burger I've had in Valdosta. They are on the level of Shake Shack and In and Out Burger. The service was stellar and the burger was truly A thing of beauty. The prices may startle you when you see them, but they are well worth the money. The fries and fried okra were in point as well. The dining area was emaculate despite the amount if people they were servicing. The staff was friendly and well organized. I would give this spot 6 stars if possible. It's a bit out of the way, but well worth the drive. They even offer home delivery if you are not able to make. 5 star food with a small town feel. read more

We were passing thru and the hubby wanted a great hotdog so we came to yelp and boom we found it. When we pulled in the parking lot we ask a customer coming out is this the place to get a good hotdog and she didn't hesitate to say YES and a really good burger too. So we tested it out it loved it. At first sight I did not think it was a restaurant at all to I read the sign top carrol. The menu is simple and straight to the point something I really liked. I order a BBQ sandwich with mayo. I was surprised that it was a pull pork sandwich, the sandwich was hot and real good I would order it again. I also order a fruit punch drink that was gone fast after 3 slurps wish it last longer. They have great customer service with a smile and they where very nice and fast at getting the food out.
