Terrible service. Food had no seasoning. Workers didn't care. Didn't see the problem with the complaint. Must be common

Visiting from out of town and decided to check out Mid Street Bar & Grill, and I'm so glad I did!…read moreI'll admit, I was a little taken back when I was searched at the door, but then I realized they take the safety of their guests seriously. After that, I was like, "Okayyy... pat me down, boyyy!" Honestly, I respect it. And we HAVE to talk about Harper -- absolute MVP! He was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. He also made the drinks we requested, which was a huge plus. This is exactly what I want in a good dive bar: laid-back atmosphere, friendly people, good drinks, and a place where you can actually relax and have a good time. If you're looking for a no-frills spot with personality, I really don't think you can go wrong with Mid Street. Can't wait to come back next time I'm in town!

Unfortunately they didn't have pool tables, but that is my only complaint. Tristan was an excellent bartender and prepared my drinks perfectly, (and I AM PICKY!!). We ordered the pork sliders, (my son wanted to try the ham and cheese, but sadly, their cooler had gone out the night before), so instead he had the pork sliders which he said were great. We shared an order order cheese curds, and as a self-proclaimed expert, who has tried them coast to coast and even in the Cheese Capitol of Wisconsin, have to say the best I have ever had. I had the teriyaki wings as my main. The sauce was AWESOME!! Richard, the cook, prepared everything perfectly!!! All in all, coming here expecting to be disappointed, I have to say Mid Street Bar is definitely a place you want to come to if you are ever in Valdosta, GA and want good food, good beverages and good atmosphere. Wish I could give them 10 stars.

One of the best places to spend time in Valdosta. Buffalo Wild Wings is more of a sports venue…read morehangout than a restaurant, but this location is one of the better stores. The staff really go the extra mile to ensure their customers have a great time. It gets so busy sometimes that there can be long waits and lines out the door but everyone pretty much knows what to expect when they show up for a game or fight night. Many customers tend to settle in for those events so if that's your plan make sure to show up early for better food/service and wait times. I swear on game days I've seen less energy at the actual sporting events; BWWs fills up fast and keeps the energy high when there's something going on. I'd recommend coming on a slower day because the staff and bartenders are really nice and fun to talk to when they're not so busy. The food is what you'd expect from a wing place but the overall palette is a bit on the hot side. Even mild wings are pretty spicy but they have lots of other options like lemon pepper, parmesan garlic and/or the new flavor honey garlic (ask for well done extra crispy or all flats if you like that kinda thing-they have always been very accommodating to special requests). Also the chicken strips/tenders are always hand breaded and extra crispy and nothing at this store is made in advance, it's all cook to order so you'll get fresh food, but again, the kitchen doesn't get any bigger when game day rush sets in so expect to wait if you show up in the middle of a fight or big game. If so, settle in relax and grab a beer and before you know it you'll feel like you're actually at the event.

During my visit, I placed an order before another couple who arrived after me. While waiting, I observed that the later-arriving couple received their food before me. From my perspective, there was no obvious explanation for the difference in service, such as a different menu item or an expedited option that was communicated to customers. What made the situation particularly noticeable was that the employees appeared to interact with the other couple primarily in Spanish, resulting in a more personalized and attentive experience. Whether intentional or not, it created the perception that customers with whom employees shared a common language or cultural familiarity were receiving preferential treatment. In any customer-facing business, perception matters just as much as intent. Restaurants succeed when every customer believes they are treated with the same level of respect, attentiveness, and fairness. If there are legitimate reasons why orders are prepared or served out of sequence, those reasons should be transparent and consistently applied. Otherwise, customers are left to conclude that different standards are being used. I might return because the food was enjoyable, but I hope management evaluates its service practices to ensure that every guest receives an equally attentive and equitable experience, regardless of the language they speak or their background.

In Valdosta, GA...it can be hard to find food spots for tacos. This place is very unassuming,…read moreaffordable and overall decent. At $2 a taco, it's not bad. I've paid more for worse in other places across the south. By far, my favorite has been the al pastor. I'm just not convinced with the tortillas and the salsas. I feel like a better corn tortilla would really make the taco worth the $2. Be advised, they will not give you water with your meal. If you want water, you have to buy a bottle of water. Silverware is also self service because to the soft drink machine. If you ask for anything, you'll be pointed to where you can get it yourself. All in all...I'm sure I'll keep coming back as long as we're in south Georgia.
