She was a nice girl and was not rude she was just not very informative about the farm - she told us more about a mule passing gas than she did about the history of the farm or the alpacas - many people had to ask questions to get any information. There were alpacas - couldn't touch them that day, there was a pot belly pig, lots of goats, one cow and 2 horses. The tour consisted of more walking around the farm than learning. I'm sorry - I just thought for the amount of time it took to get there and at 20$ per person it would be more informative.

We called that morning and were able to visit at 2:00 PM. They welcomed us and gave us a complete and very informative tour of the farm. We got to meet the alpacas by name and visit the 11-month-old and 4-month-old alpacas with their mothers. We even had the chance to feed and walk with one of them. A huge thank you to the wonderful couple who owns this property for your kindness, patience, and understanding, especially with part of my family who did not speak English, allowing us time to translate. Your property is beautiful, and the alpacas are clearly loved and well taken care of. We will definitely visit again next time we are in this part of the country!

Going in with the deer is a fun experience - kinda overwhelming because they can get a little pushy. The pony ride was the highlight. Great experience, just know it doesn't have much more than an hour or so worth of time.

Outside, they had vendors setup for a market. The market was adorable and all vendors were so kind. Inside, Grandad's Apples had wonderful snacks, merchandise, and activities. You can pick your own apples or select already-picked apples if you want more varieties to select from. They have some already bagged or you can bag your own. I love that they offer apple slices of all the current varieties so you can figure out your favorites. I was surprised I didn't like the sweetest apples but liked the more tart ones. Besides apples, they have pumpkins. The sunflowers were at the end of their life when I was there, but I was glad I got to see them. The gift shop sells cider and other items, and the bakery has pies, cookies, donuts, slushies, and other goodies. Customer service is friendly, and on the weekends, they have other activities to do. But you can walk to the water and enjoy the views.

I wanted to purchase some jams to bring back home (SoFL) so we only visited the gift shop. Specifically, I was in search of T.O.E. Jam. It took a hot minute, but eventually I located it. The gift shop has a wide variety of merchandise and a massive jam selection. There are endless gift options available and the folks at the counter were very friendly. He was willing to answer questions and gave us a really informative tour. I learned alpacas originate from south America, they almost went extinct and they're related to camels! I also didn't know that they don't have top teeth! The tour was thorough and to the point, we got to feed and interact with the alpaca. You can tell they are well taken care of, because they were willing to socialize with us. Of course they were food motivated, but they also tolerated us after the food was gone! The alpaca are so soft... Alpacas are one of my favorite animals and I'm so happy we were able to interact with them. My son was able to feed them as well and he really enjoyed the experience.
