I have been putting off getting my hair cut for way too long after a really bad experience, but my bday is coming up so it's time to get it cleaned up. I went hunting for a good salon. I came across this one and the person I spoke to is very kind and made me feel comfortable from the start. She set up an appointment for me on Friday at 11am with Annie. I told her I just wanted to get it trimmed to be healthier, washed and styled too. She said it would be $65 to get all of that. It has arrived! Happy Friday everyone! I showed up for my 11am appointment. Met with my new stylist Annie that came recommended. The salon is extremely nice! It's safe, clean and practiced. Masks worn by workers and required. Great music playing. Adds more calmness to it. I had an awful hair experience and stopped going for years! Coming here made it worth it and took away the fear I had! Thank you! All the workers were really great and Annie did a fantastic job trimming my hair to clean it up and make it healthier! I got it washed and styled with waves! LOVE! Thank you! I had an appointment yesterday with Allie for highlights, cut, and style, and was thrilled with my results! I brought in photos of what I wanted and my end results were almost identical. The highlights are gorgeous and look very natural. I have thick, wavy, frizzy hair, and normally don't even bother having it styled after a haircut because it never turns out well. Allie was able to blow it out perfectly with some bounce, body, and zero frizz. Best haircut, color, and styling I've had in many years! Late Review Post -- but I needed to review this place !! I finally went to the salon after so long and decided to try this local salon because of the great reviews , so I went in for a simple haircut.. I asked for layers. And right away, the stylist man was talking non stop about other women's appearance like what looks good on them and what does not (literally such as eyelashes, lip filler, even the hair colors women request in his chair) which made me feel uncomfortable on his chair knowing he was probably judging me too Which maybe all of this wouldn't have been sooo terrible if he did a great cut, but no. I left with barely any difference he just styled my hair. He continuously mentioned I had such thin hair, which I get, but I've gotten many layers hair cuts before. Further, the price for this basic cut was $100.. I saw so many good reviews and was hoping for a great experience and this was not the case. I was sitting in this man's chair hearing his constant little negative comments towards woman when us women go to salons to feel good and confident not to be judged in any way. The hair stylist lady next to him probably would have made my experience a million times better however I did not have such fortunate experience with him. read more

I was nervous to get my hair done, but I haven't gotten it cut in over a year and it was becoming increasingly difficult to manage. I figured that if I was going to do it, I would find a small business. Luckily, this cute small shop opened up 5 minutes from my house and I could see into the salon from my spot in the Starbucks drive through! I came in last week for a cut and just finished with a half balayage appointment. I appreciate all of their safety precautions, it made me feel as safe as I could feel with all the uncertainty in the world right now. The staff is also super friendly. Sarah was my stylist and she is so sweet and talented! I'm so happy with the results and I will definitely be back in the future. I think I've finally found "my salon". I'm normally a "quiet-appointment" type but when you find the right stylist you converse and the time flies. Every staff member is friendly and the salon is very clean. Not the experience I was expecting I went with a creative hairstylist I am completely okay with people learning. The website stated "All Creative Stylist haircuts will be over-seen by a Master Stylist before guest checks-out" the master didn't stop by ONCE. My stylist didn't seem the most confident which made me feel less confident and I was really depending on the master stopping by, didn't happen. Also when I checked out the receptionist said $105 when I said no I got a treatment with an add on cut. Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! I recommend this salon to everyone! From the first time I walked in everyone is so friendly, helpful, professional... you just feel so comfortable and at home. It's hard for a salon to mix luxury and beauty with a laid back and at-home feel, but this place does it 100% perfectly. As for hair, I trust them completely. My favorite stylist is Dannie (but I've heard rave reviews about others as well). Dannie is like magic. She somehow is able to make my thin, mousy brown and graying hair look gorgeous- with a rich chocolate color and beautiful highlights and full of body. She also does my daughter's hair which is the complete opposite of mine- very thick and curly. She does a beautiful job with those curls, and teen girls are picky! My daughter loves her! I walked out not only with something completely different from what I wanted but my hair was so badly done I ended up having to go elsewhere and now I have boy short hair because of how bad they left my hair initially at this place. Everyone and I mean EVERYONE noticed how bad my hair was cut and were just as shocked. The person had a great personality and I felt bad leaving a review but for paying $100 I expect a well done job. A great personality does not makeup for a bad job. Not only that but I'm the one who has to deal with bad hair for months on end if not atleast a year for their mistakes. Now I'm walking into 2025 bald and with zero confidence thanks to this place. I even told the guy he left me with a bad haircut and he said he would fix it. I eventually had to say I loved it so he wouldn't cut any further. Also they couldn't even give me a receipt at the time when I asked for it. Please save your hair and money and go elsewhere. When I requested a refund the manager said they won't offer a refund if you don't let them fix your hair first even though I did tell the stylist there I looked bad. I was a little nervous to take the risk of this appointment due to COVID-19. I was sold though, just by the very first time I tried to make an appointment. I was going to Starbucks next door, and tried to enter the Elle Style Bar to inquire about an appointment. The doors are locked so you can't just come in without getting a temp scan and then you can immediately squirt some sanitizer on your hands after handling the door. It was my first time here since it's a new salon for our neighborhood. The receptionist was kind and helpful in getting me started with an appointment. The decor is GORGEOUS and inviting. My appointment was yesterday with master stylist Moises. I showed him pictures of looks I was interested in. He consulted/collaborated to help determine the plan once we talked about the current state of my hair vs what I was trying to achieve. Long story short, this was a mini mommy-make-over for me since I am 7 months postpartum and haven't been to a salon in about a year. I felt 10 years younger when Moises was finished. He did a wonderful job and was a pleasure to talk to. I will continue using him and this location for Elle Style Bar moving forward and am happy to have them in the neighborhood! read more

Great place, I love how I am always called back right at my appointment time and don't have to wait to be seen. Moises is great and is very efficient, I like how I am not in the salon all day and Moises gets my hair done quick and just how I like it. Also, it is never crowded when I go in, maybe one other person getting g their hair done but that's it. I like the calm and quiet atmosphere. Hands down the best experience I have ever had in a salon. The moment I walked through the doors, I felt a sense of calm and a welcoming energy. My session was with Allie and she is far and above her title of Master Stylist. She was able to transform my color and cut and deliver results that I didn't think were possible. I went in knowing it would take time to get to where I wanted it to be, and I never expected to walk out with such great results after just one session. Allie spent time listening as well as advising so we could come up with a plan that we were both comfortable with regards to getting my hair back to a point where I am in love with it. I truly feel like after one session with her, I am already there. I know it will just continue to evolve to a place where I am genuinely happy once again. I don't think I've ever had an experience in a salon, where I haven't been nervous or concerned that I wasn't being heard, I definitely felt heard and understood by Allie. I love everything about this salon. They are friendly, professional and it smells so good. I've been looking for my hair stylist for years. Literally years I've bounced around because I wasn't impressed or fully trusted hair stylists that I've had. I came here on a whim because it's very close to my house and new and I was familiar with Aveda. At random I got Alli and I'm so happy that I did. I've gone to her 3-4 times now and each time she listens, and gives me better than what I wanted or expected hair cuts! She tells me what she's doing, what's she's going to do and why and I love that! She helped me grow out my hair and when I destroyed my hair with bleach, she helped me save it, not only saved but the cut she gave me was soooo cute that I think I'll keep it up as my new look. She also had great conversations here I feel like I'm hanging out at a friends house and I feel totally comfortable.
